      I purchased 2 bedroom sets from Value City Furniture in ***************************************** was dry rotted. I contacted the warranty department and over a year they told me they was giving me $115 and later said $206 for 1 bed. I wrote and called several times. They just dont care.

      This is my 3rd time buying furniture from American Signature Furniture. First time was 9 years ago and was a good experience. Second time was little over a year ago and was bad experience. I ordered in store a loveseat, recliner, and dining room table with chairs. It was going to be a couple of months before it arrived which was disappointing, but ok. Closer to delivery time I get notified that it is delayed several more weeks. Then when the delayed date comes up I am told everything will be on the truck but when they arrived Im missing the table and chairs. When I call they tell me the *** told me wrong and sorry. When they finally do deliver the table its missing a chair, which was finally delivered. Awful experience. I decided to take a chance again recently purchasing a loveseat and couch. I purchased online for delivery. Would be delivered in a few weeks. Get notified by voicemail about a week out that it has been delayed by about 3 weeks. When I track my it was also changed to pickup. When trying to call to speak with someone any option you choose just rings and rings. I called several times, several different days before someone finally called back saying they saw my missed call. The *** changed it back to delivery and said there was an earlier delivery date for August 22 instead of September 6th. So I said yes please. So on August 21st I got rid of my old furniture to prep for delivery of the new only to find out that it was now changed again to August 28th without being notified. I try calling and again no one will answer the phone. This is awful service. Would not recommend this place at all!!

      I bought $16,000.00 worth of furniture from Value City Furniture in ************. I called the store to add a leather recliner to my order and was directed to the warehouse that gave me a merchant link to Skipify on 8/15/2024. The next day 8/16/2024 two transactions of $897.87 were taken out of my account I called my merchant card department at the bank and yes the link was set for two payments. I called Value City and talked to ***** who was to call me back in 24 hours it is now 8/19/24 and every time I call I am told that numbers cannot be transferred within the department someone else read notes off to me that she would call me back. I just left a meeting and she has not called me back today but I was told she is at lunch. I think this is poor service and poor ***resentation of the store. A manager should be in contact with me and this customer service *** needs to get on the phone and talk to me directly after purchasing $16,000.00 in furniture and now losing $897.87 someone should care.

      They are really nice until they take your money. They sold me a low quality Sofa that has lint seeping through cushions. I paid csh like a fool. Now they are not returning my calls or picking up. It is frustrating and I have been trying to have them offer me a solution since 15 days. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM ! They have a customer service hotline that is treating me nice but no followup! FLORIDA SW Shop is a bad group of sellers.

      This is a terrible place to buy furniture. I spent over $15,000 on a bedroom set and dinning room set and after over a month I still have yet to receive all of the furniture I ordered. To make it worse this place actually tries to hold your purchased items ****** until they can deliver it. They won't let you pick your stuff up and they won't even work with you on delivery day that your home. They literally gave me one day out of the week because that's when they're in the area. When the delivery team showed up with half of my order they promptly sat outside their truck and proceeded to smoke Marijuana and get high before bringing my furniture inside. Last I knew driving high was the same as driving drunk. I also live next to an elementary school. I will never buy anything from this store ever again.

      The sales and staff are wonderful. The company is horrible. After viewing a nice show room youre met with delays and unforeseen charges. I was told I could pick up the other half to my couch after waiting three months for it to come in. Now Im told that I can pick it up in November. I purchased the couch in June. Picked up 1 half mid July and now I cant get the full set until November. I will not be doing business here again.

      Do not buy anything from this company. My sister bought me a new mattress and box spring in 2014 for my new house and I have had to have it replaced 4-5 times. In the beginning, I was impressed how quickly their response time had been. I called over a year ago again, and they sent out a service technician that said there wasn't anything wrong it. It took him a good 40 minutes of measuring, visually inspecting it, etc and came up with the conclusion, there wasn't anything wrong with it. The problem is, I can't sleep on it very often because it sags in the middle and causes me a lot of pain. I sent an e-mail to the corporate office and they sent out another Tech who in fact said there is a problem with it. The last time I had it replaced I had to pay an additional $200.00+ because the old one had been discontinued. This time I was told that due to this being discontinued also, I would be responsible for anything over $500.00+ which is what they said this mattress was valued at. Furthermore, they would no longer honor a manufacturers warrant from my for my mattress. I will never even walk into one of their stores again. I only bought the mattresses that were recommended by their own salesmen, who obviously don't care that they are selling inferior products. I explained by back issues because I am now 64 years old and the original mattress was purchased when I was 54. Do they not care or even take into consideration that the older people get the more support they need. I would have easily paid thousands to buy a mattress that I didn't have to have replaced every few years. I got sucked in because of the warranty because having to have someone come out and inspect it and wait for the replacement and all the other inconveniences that come with it. I am going to read the reviews for ******** **** and real reputable mattress stores to see where to go next. I won't even have this one replaced by them again. No wonder they are not BBB accredited! 0 stars

      I had a bed delivered damaged. Ignoring my better judgement, I allowed the seller to attempt to make things right. I was told that they would repair the damaged bed and not replace it. When I told them that this was unacceptable to the fact that I brought a new bed and would only accept it a replacement with a new bed, they told me I could return the bed and I would be refunded minus 15% restocking fee. That's odd, so they are restocking damaged be, lol. The worst customer service in history. Do you self a favor avoid this company at all costs.

      Value City in ******* is the absolute worst furniture store in Mi I spent thousands of dollars of furniture with them and they have consistently delayed my furniture 5 times . The store Manager ***** laughed at me while I was trying to explain my situation . Totally unprofessional and doesnt know how to talk to people that keeps his bills paid and food in his fridge. The store needs to be closed down for good . Store Manager ***** you need to retire .

      Not sure how a business schedules a delivery without payment, but they did. A salesman, Will, at this location has called me non-stop about a purchase of a new couch when I was undecided. I guess he took matters into his own hands, and attempted to charge me for the couch without my knowledge or consent, with my profile information. I almost thought I was being scammed- I guess I probably would've been had I confirmed my payment information. Movers were scheduled to be enroute. I think not! They are greedy for sales and may even be private because no other Value City looks this way or operates like this. Would definitely suggest everyone stay away! Very strange scenario.
