My furniture was guaranteed to be delivered two days before Thanksgiving ( 11-26-2024) and the items where in stock when I ordered them. The sales person stated when I ordered the furniture that the delivery service would contact me a day prior via email, text or phone call. I didn't receive any contact from them. I went to the website to see if my delivery date was still the same and it was. So, the day the furniture was supposed to be delivered, I called them right when they opened and was told that my furniture delivery was pushed back two weeks because it wasn't in stock. I had to put my old furniture the the road for garbage day and now have nothing to sit on for two weeks. I have family coming for Thanksgiving. I talked to an assistant manager on the phone and they said to come in and speak to the sales person that sold me the furniture to see if there was something in clearance that I could use until my furniture would be delivered. After arriving, the sales person then talked to the manager about my situation and he said that they don't loan furniture and there was nothing he could do for me. I asked the sales person if I could have the floor model matching my original purchase and her manager told her no because Black Friday was coming and corporate would say they lost sales if that model wasn't on the floor. I asked multiple times to talk to or see the manager in person and every time, he was busy. I asked for a discount on the furniture for the inconvenience and was told no. If they would have called me when they realized my furniture was no longer in stock, I would have kept my old furniture and understood that things happen with stock and deliveries. I don't know who makes the protocol for the decisions but I wouldn't let them run a hotdog stand. I'll never shop at Value City Furniture again and will share my experience with everyone.American Signature Inc.

I will never buy another piece of furniture from Value City Furniture! Nothing but problems since July! Ordered 2 couches, a recliner, and stand with fireplace. Only received couches in July. Couch breaks within a month. Had to wait for stand and recliner, fine, but then kept getting delayed. Finally, shows up and recliner is broken and stand is marked and missing fireplace. Everything was supposed to be replaced today. Nope guess again. Yet, I have to pay my bill monthly?! Take it all back at this point!American Signature Inc.

I stiill haven't received my **** ***** for my sectional. I ordered this sectional in June and have still not received it. So basically we paid for furniture in June and it's November 22nd and we still have not received the complete set for our Milo ********* couch. Everytime I physically go to the store they give me excuses and blame it on overseas shipping. While the store manager sits back relaxing in his office and doesn't even bother assisting with customers who have paid for ********************. Additionally when I call the store nobody answers the phone. This entire store and coperation should be ashamed and embarrassed that they are doing business like this. They are basically getting consumers money without delivering the product. As the customer I simply want the last peice of my furniture that I have already paid for.American Signature Inc.

Less than 1 star but I had to rate it. Terrible and rude customer service. Hung up on my wife multiple times. Supposed to have delivery on 11/20/24they ended up not delivering anything and telling my wife the truck carrying our cargo was lost. Then on 11/22/24 the novi location called my wife and said they still have to drop off the bunky boards we ordered with the bed frame, which we still havent received or got an update on. We let them know we didnt receive the bed frame and customer service in **** let us know it said it was delivered. So theres that. On top of that, they are now saying our product is on back order until the end of January. Not acceptable.American Signature Inc.

We bought a $3000 couch from them. Paid for a 5 year extended warranty. The couch began to fall apart within a year, almost every cushion is unraveling and feathers sticking in us like thumb tacks. ****************** would not answer their phones for days and all different times. They didnt show on the first service day, they showed late to the second one. Guy took a few pics 2 weeks later after making several calls. I was eventually sent to a horrible supervisor who said its not covered under the MANUFACTURERS warranty when the thing is falling apart. She was terrible to deal with and their service department is horrible. We are out $3000 for a junk couch. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY THEREAmerican Signature Inc.

I bought 6 chairs for my dining room table and 4 chairs for my counter back in August 2024. I JUST received the he 4 for my he counter last week. The 6 for the he dining room wont be delivered until November 29th?? I just received a phone call today telling m this. Yesterday they called me to say the 6 chairs would be delivered tomorrow Friday November 22nd. Im SO upset???????? I dont Ill NEVER bought anything from this store ever ver again!! Avoid shopping at Value City Furniture: a cautionary tale. On November 2, 2024, we visited Value City Furniture seeking a couch, having had positive experiences previously. After selecting a couch, we were assured of availability and delivery by November 6. However, delivery was postponed to November 14 due to partial stock arrival. Further delays ensued, citing manufacturer issues and outdated website information. Poor communication and lack of updates led to frustration. A phone call could have made a difference! Despite speaking with a manager, customer service concerns were dismissed. Oh wait there was a lack of customer service. We cancelled the order. Our business was lost due to inadequate communication. Value City Furniture must prioritize customer communication to retain business. Buyer Beware!!!Dont even get me started on getting the bill before my couch is even delivered.American Signature Inc.

We have the same exact problem has the last reviewer. We ordered a sectional in August, was told it would be available at the end of September. Went to pickup from our scheduled date in the first week of October, and they were missing half of it. Four fake delivery dates later (various weekends waiting around over the next 5 weeks) and we still dont have our couch and we were recently told that it was delayed until Christmas Day so they dont know why they were delaying it week to week. We finally went into to schedule a return last Monday, they had to wait until today to pickup the couch and now theyre saying their truck is full and cant EVEN PICK UP the couch. Their couch will be waiting on my front porch starting at 5:30pm this evening, which is the end of their most recent pickup time. This is by the far the worst customer service experience we have had and I dont know how they are even operating at this point. ********.American Signature Inc.

My wife and I bought furniture from the *********** store back in September to have furniture delivered to our new home in ************. 3 chairs from the dining room set were damaged, the doors on the server do not line up, and our adjustable base we were told would fit in the bedroom set, does not. We were told someone would come out and fix these items, but since it was delivered by the Columbus distribution center, a Columbus store would have to service us. Someone came out and marked on the chairs and they are calling those "good" but didn't have anything to service the bed or server. Someone else came out to "fix" the bed on Friday. They could not fix the bed, so left it all torn apart, mattress leaned up against the wall and adjustable base in pieces blocking half of our room. It is now Wednesday and they have not come out to even put our bed back in to a working state so we can use it. We have been hung up on, ignored, told there is nothing they can do, and we even had one customer care *** tell us, it's 3:00 on Friday, no one is coming out to help. The best we have been told by *******, is someone will be out on Saturday and then she hung up on us. Canton can't do anything since they aren't the ones to service us and Columbus will not answer phones and when they do, they are no help, and as rude as can be. Something needs to be done **** to make this right. We have family coming in to town starting Friday for the holiday and we need all beds to be functioning so everyone can sleep comfortably. All this meanwhile, my wife has a broken foot and can't just sleep on a couch or floor comfortably... SOMEONE HELP!!!!!American Signature Inc.
