I have Nationwide for my home and 2 dogs! They are absolutely horrible! I just paid close to 10K for a 4 month old puppy to have emergency surgery after my Vet urged me to go to the ** after XRay views. I put him on my policy the day I got him and felt confident I was covered since he is a frenchie I was nervous hearing about their health issues they actually changed the diagnosis that 5 doctors disputed and would not pay my claim plus added more diagnosis as pre existing conditions that were not even in his records so basically he is not insurable now thanks to Nationwide and their pompass ignorance not to mention the immoral and unethical altering of a diagnosis.Nationwide

Nationwide was a favorite of ours for years until ****** in **. Their computer shows you have a coverage but is left out of the policy and denied claim. They admitted to the issue but to no avail for us. Also they canceled another home within days of a CATASTROPHIC claim and did not label it CAT so my replacement policy was about to be denied. The reason given was because it was added risk. It wasnt for same home and were in no flood zone, nothing had changed in the exact time of my NC claim that affected my Florida home.. They have ***** ******* TO RUIN HOMEOWNERS AND JEOPARDIZE THEIR LIFE WITH A FLICK OF THE COMPUTER, given by the state of ******* . Profits over people!! No claim historyDisorganized, few adjusters , a skeleton crew after Hurricane . Ive had 7 policies for over 8-10 years My initial adjuster was gone in the middle of my claim. WARNING ?? TO POTENTIAL VICTMS. Be careful. This is only my experience though, others may have been luckier. They also untended my umbrella policy. Unbelievable. I dont think they will do anything about it.Nationwide

Crooks. They start out lower than the competition, but then have insanely high rate hikes every year. I went from under $700/year to almost $2700 in less than 4 years. I never filed a claim. They used the excuse "home values and building materials went up", when in actuality in my area, both have gone down the last three years in a row.I personally think they are charging customers in unregulated states for the large volume of policy claims in regulated states (i.e., ********** and all the wildfire damage). There is NO excuse for the crazy high rate hikes the last two years....especially when so many others quoted $650 to $1200 a year WITH ALMOST DOUBLE the coverage. Can anyone say "Greedflation".Nationwide

Nationwide is less than 1 out of 5. We were rear-ended by someone insured by them and it was a horrible experience with ******* ******* doing total loss claims. She would not do anything about the fraudulent *** report that blatantly left off a navigation system and sun roof. We used our insurance company, Amica, and the process was seamless. DO NOT USE NATIONWIDE because they are crooks. Our car was over $2k more than the *** report provided by them and they would not make corrections. ******* would not work with us at all which is illogical because ultimately, they had to pay the amount given by the Amica adjuster and also pay Amica the $750 deductible. Nationwide relied on the pictures we had to take of the car and said they would only reevaluate the car if we released it to the salvage yard. If the tow company or salvage yard damages your car, the owner doesn't have any proof. When we asked her why they couldn't send an adjuster, it was always the same excuse "you need to release the car first". Their adjuster could not go to ******, **, but they would be able to go to a salvage yard in ****, ** (literally in the middle of no where). I will continue to tell everyone about my experience with Nationwide and ******* *******. It honestly is fraud when you can have over $2k taken from you unless you find other ways to get help. If an attorney was not so expensive, I would have sought legal advice.Nationwide

I am writing to express my severe dissatisfaction with Nationwide Pet Insurance. I enrolled my pet under the Whole Pet Wellness plan in 2019, with the understandingbased on their promises and marketingthat coverage would last for the pet's lifetime. This was a significant factor in my decision to choose Nationwide. However, I recently received a non-renewal letter indicating that my pet's coverage was being canceled. When I called to address the issue, the representative denied that the company ever promised lifetime coverage and essentially called me a liar. I have since found online evidence and multiple testimonials from other customers who were given the same promise, only to have their coverage terminated later.Nationwide Pet Insurances lack of integrity and honesty is appalling. They seem more than willing to cover young pets, but once these pets age and genuinely need coverage, they are dropped. This is not only misleading but also unethical.I hope this review serves as a warning to others considering Nationwide Pet Insurance.Nationwide

Travel Insurance is not worth it with this company. There are so many stipulations on paying a claim that unless the airlines goes bankrupt or there is a weather event, you don't get your claim paid. We prepaid for a hotel and then our flight was delay and we missed our connection so the hotel night couldn't be used. They denied the claim because it was pre-paid and not a weather event for the airlines. It also took them a long time to respond to my claim and I never got correspondence that they sent me. I would not recommend this policy at all!Nationwide

Watch out if you have Nationwide car insurance! I've been a customer for more than 40 years and missed a payment by accident. They canceled my insurance, did not provide notification that they did so (which incidentally is against the law) would not rewrite my policy, and sent notification to the State saying that my insurance was canceled a full month before it was. I had to get insured by another company, send the information to the State, and now I have to pay the state $612 or lose my license for 3 months. And they do not bend, Pennsylvania. I am now on a mission to have Nationwide pay me back the $612, I'm filing claims with the Better Business Bureau and the state, and any social media site I can find. 40 year loyalty....what a joke!Nationwide
