This company is going to knowingly kill tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of animals. Their current policy change will tear families apart and cause people to have to rehome their pet or put them down because they can't afford emergency surgery. Absolutely disgusting.Nationwide

My parents have been with nationwide for over 20 years and all of a sudden they dropped their policy never made a claim or anything else. They are ripping people off and especially the elderly.. Don’t waste your time or money dealing with this company.Nationwide

Total SCAM company. They would drop the insurance when pets may need it the most at older age. Started with less than $100/month in 2016, which is now at $213/month for over a year. And now they are dropping my dog's insurance completely. They have scammed me out over $13k for nothing. I wish I had a savings account for my dog, which I am starting now. I hope my dog stays healthy for another 6-8 years.Nationwide

My car was damaged, I filed a claim and the nationwide agent recommended their preferred auto body shop. The shop was very unprofessional, never called to provide updates and kept my car 5 days over the estimated completion date and didn't call to say it was ready for pickup. When I picked up my car I immediately noticed the repairs were not completed. Therefore I called NATIONWIDE to ask about my options for getting the repairs done. That's when the CIRCUS began they gave me the run around when I finally got a call back the NATIONWIDE agent had already spoken with the shop before listening to my concerns. I thought I was the customer however the ********************** agent told me to take it back to the same shop so they could attempt to finish the repairs. And he warned me if I took the car to a different shop NATIONWIDE wouldn't pay for the damages caused by the shop they recommended or to complete the repairs their recommended shop FAILED to complete.. The NATIONWIDE agent VERY condescending. I asked if NATIONWIDE has a complaint process. He replied they did not have any complaint process available to customers. What a JOKENationwide

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with Nationwide Insurance, with whom I have maintained auto, business, and home insurance policies for over 15 years. Unfortunately, due to issues with the United ********************** two payments that I sent via mail were not received by Nationwide. Despite providing evidence of these payments, which were not delivered due to **** failures, Nationwide has chosen to terminate my policies after a 60-day lapse. While I understand the company's policy regarding reinstatement, I am deeply disappointed by their refusal to reissue my policies despite my longstanding history as a loyal customer. My payment history had been exemplary until this recent issue arose from circumstances beyond my control. This experience has significantly impacted my perception of Nationwides commitment to customer service. Given my recent experience and the companys handling of this matter, I am unable to recommend Nationwide Insurance to others. It is disheartening to witness the decline in service quality and customer care.Sincerely,*******************Nationwide

Intentional Fraud / False Advertising / Material Misrepresentation Do not trust this company, my Agent made false statements and promises about my policy to make his sale. He promised me 100% coverage on my pet with zero exclusions and claimed that No matter what happened to my pet it would be covered back over 3 years ago when I first purchased my policy. I had a $1,500 surgery on my dog and they covered only $16!! After countless attempts to collect my money and countless attempts for them to make it write, they claim that I should have read the terms, and took zero responsibility for the actions of their agent that sold the policy. Over the years they have changed many different things about my policy and what Im covered for which has repeatedly forced me to come out of pocket for their actions and practices that have been carried out in bad faith! Its all about the money with this company, even though they claim to be there for your pet, they would rather protect their money than protect your pet regardless of their claims to do so!!!Somehow/someway after being told I was covered FOR EVERYTHING, I was sold a policy that didnt cover common issues with my breed! THATS A HUGE DIFFERENCE THAN no exclusions I told them to pull up the recordings of what their sales person claimed when they sold me the policy, but nationwide doesnt keep their recordings for that long and that I should have read the policy in full, contrary to what my agent told me on the phone. They took zero accountability for their negligence, and left me with the bill after spending thousands of dollars a year for my policy! The agents, the managers, and the supervisors were all super disrespectfu, after jokingly telling me well we arent going to pay for that so have a good day give **** some kisses for me (exact words) from **************************************, *********** Team Manager/Supervisor!! She claims its okay for agents to tell you misleading information regarding policys.Nationwide

I know an elderly person was hit in the side of their car almost a month ago. Still has not even received approval for a estimate. Nationwide keeps dragging their feet and even stated: are you sure the person isn't confused because they are elderly? That is so discrimatory!Nationwide

Nationwide will string you along in the claim process and not care about their customers, They will give you short answers and then completely ignore you. They also have an extremely high turnover rate so you will end up working with multiple adjusters that don't work well together and just leave you in the dark. Absolute pathetic business practices.Nationwide

Save your money and look for a better company. We have been with Nationwide over 25 years. Never once made a car or house claim. Now we have leakage in 3 rooms, how could we not need a new roof? They have denied us and they are dropping us now. No thanks to **** who didn't even really attempt to help us. I will make sure to spread the word to my family and friends how they have treated us. @caprietta Insurance in ***** , ****. NATIONWIDE IS NOT ON YOUR SIDE!Nationwide

This company will do anything not to pay out a claim. They use ** reasons for making their determinations. For a recent claim I had with them their adjuster, my insurances adjuster, and the police had all said it would be shared fault. Upon the completion of their investigation they cited a lack of scuff marks to my vehicle as to why they shouldnt have to pay. They have ridiculous rates. And according to many complaints through the BBB they are know to not pay out in claims. Buyer beware.Nationwide
