Door to door salesman. Didn't fully explain the cost of the product. I ask the young man if this amount ( 53.00$) was for 4 treatments and only for 1 year? He said yes. I preceded to sign the contract. Today I called about the contract and I couldn't get it canceled. I called the 5th or 6th of July to give a payment because I have a new credit card no. That's when I was told about the 2 year contract and the amount was 53.00$ per month. I am 80 years old and on a fixed income. Please help. I paid ****** $ to get the contract canceled. I started a contract with this company when I had a rodent problem, under the impression that I would be paying $40 every time they came, which was once every three months. I was charged a $150 setup fee and, aside from the $40, was not informed of any additional costs. I signed the contract while on the phone with a representative, trusting that I was being told all the necessary financial details.
However, it turns out that the $40 fee was monthly, even though they only visited once every three months. When I noticed the additional charges, I reviewed my contract only to find that there was a $250 cancellation fee, another detail that was not disclosed by the representative.
Based on other reviews, it’s clear that I’m not the only one who has experienced this. It seems this company omits important details and rushes customers to sign contracts over the phone to obscure the total charges. When I spoke to a representative about the issue, she repeatedly told me that I had signed a contract, likely the standard response for customers who were misled. After much discussion, she reduced the cancellation fee a bit, but I still ended up paying an excessive amount, equivalent to another 3 months of service, just to cancel.Business Response

Hired this company to treat carpenter bee issue. They were to come out 1x week everyweek for 1 month. They didn't, I called and was told they would start again, they didn't. 3 months now, I called for a refund and was told no. Fraudulent company.Business Response

Had a sales person tell my husband we were getting a big discount on pest control if he signed up that day, the next month they started charging me 100 per month, we never got an agreement, when I called back to log in to see what was going on with the plan, I didn't agree to this plan, had them remove my card but they didn't remove services, they were too. Now this month I call and they tell me I can not cancel until 18 month unless I pay 300 for early cancel fee. We have already paid them 200 for services we do not want. They sales rep like about the discount and new customer gets it and the company talks in circles and transfers you around when you callBusiness Response

Greenix salesman presented at our home this afternoon informing me of his company, Greenix, services. Heard his information. He wanted me to sign up for his services immediately. I advised I'll discuss with my husband. He pushed more stating it's a good deal, just $400 more than current service. Advised again I will discuss with my husband. ******** asked when he will be home. Advised him at 8:30 pm In meantime, I looked at Greenix's reviews on BBB, which were by no means stellar. ******** returned at 8:25. ******** was advised by my husband, we are happy with current service and are not changing. ******** proceeded to tell my husband he's not listening to him and so on. He became argumentative and would not stop pushing his services even after being told "NO" multiple times. The "discussion" got to the point the Greenix salesman was told to get off our property immediately. He continued to state, "you're not listening to me". Next step we were calling the police for trespassing. This is harassment and bullying at its best. IBusiness Response

Called Greenix to come out June 11th to combat red ants. Service cost over $320.00. I was clear when making the appointment that I wanted a one time service. They left a piece of paper with services provided, but I realized later they did not leave a receipt. I was told by both men at the house that they would come back within 30 days if the ants appeared, but that I should give it two weeks before calling. Two weeks later I called and said we still had a steady stream of ants coming into the living room (where they had sprayed). The man on the phone told me to call back in two days if they were still there and not to worry as I was well within the 30 day time period. I called back a day or two later and they set up an appointment to come back. The day of the scheduled appointment I received a text saying they weren 't coming b/c I hadn't signed up for their monthly plan. I called and it appeared that I was in contact with a call center type operation. I was told they would make me an appointment but had to check one thing. That phone call was cut off. When I called back, they passed my call on, but I never ended up with a human being. I am beyond frustrated. That was a lot of money. They did not take care of the ant problem and would not discuss resolving the issue. In addition, they advertise as a local company, but a clearly not.Business Response

On 5/9/24 I signed up for Greenix treatment which is spraying for spiders and rodent/mole control. The tech walked my entire property with me showing him the trouble issues. He sprayed inside & outside my home as well as setting 4 bait traps on each exterior walls of my home. Since then the tunneling on one side and corner exterior has gotten much worse as well as the mole hills in back yard worsening. I emailed them on 6/13/24 and texted the tech. He responded saying I was not in his schedule, the mole treatment is a separate service, and I would have to call company. When I texted that I thought what he did initially was what would take care of it I got no response. I got no response to email until 6/17/24 texting that they scheduled me for 6/18. I called changing to the 21st as I wanted to be present when they arrived. The tech assessed my property and replaced bait in traps where needed, also moving 2 of them. He then spoke to a supervisor about the mole hills worsening in the back yard. I was told it would be $400 plus to treat for moles. I refused stating that the 1st tech knew about all these areas and I assumed what he recommended would take care of it all, not make it worse. They then offered me a payment plan for the charge. Again I stated I will NOT be paying more money to them and they can cancel the service. At this point the tech was on the phone waiting for a response on how to proceed. I was also told by them that the moles that had gotten in my basement a few times over the 26 years living in my home were voles, not moles, even though I described the exact look of them and they were moles. So now they’re trying to tell me I don’t know my own home and what was there! It’s ridiculous! Then I was told by tech that a manger named Felix would be calling after 1 pm to discuss this matter. Still no call, email, or text. I told them numerous times I wanted to cancel aervice. This is terrible customer service. I don’t recommend this company.Business Response

This company charged my credit card for services performed that were actually not performed. They simply did not show.
We have a Ring camera and they were not on the property yet charged me for services. I want 2 months of the fees refunded to me and I’ve cancelled the service for non-performance.

We signed up for Greenix and we were not informed of a $250 cancelation fee. The billing was not clearly explained to us either. We did not realize we would be paying monthly for a service we would only receive quarterly. There was pressure to sign right away without getting all the facts. They also had expressed that a specific service would be included and it was not. We have more bugs than ever so their product is ineffective and we want out of our agreement. We called Greenix and they did not allow us to cancel and informed us of the cancelation charge. They said they reduced our cost but we feel we have been misled into an expensive, ineffective product and that we have been lied to. We just want out of this contract.Business Response

Greenix has come door to door thru our neighborhood and has been very aggressive and rude. Yesterday we were approached by a female sales representative while we were trying to get out of our cars. We have NO SOLICITATION signage and she ignored them. She was asked to leave several times and refused. A male rep knocked on my neighbors door at 10 pm tonight, which is against the soliciting laws here. They are incredibly rude and aggressive. While we realize they have a right to be here, they need to leave when asked and also not go around the neighborhood after hours.
