      I placed a Highligts order six weeks ago. This was a gift for my nephew. I learned that it has yet to be delivered. I contacted customer service who advised me that it would be 4 to 6 weeks . Well that time line has passed. However, I did get a great customer service agent on live chat and the issue was resolved with supposedly sending in two weeks a complimentary December issue which I appreciate. I was told that I had signed up for a Holiday subscription, but I truly thought that by November his first issue would be delivered. .

      Haven't received my order after waiting 8 weeks. Contacted customer service, they were rude and had no answers. Answer from Maria on chat "I don't know" super frustrating that you spend almost $200 with a company and they don't send you what you order and they say "I don't know" and "We'll send another soon" Highlights won't be getting any more subscriptions from me, I don't appreciate the way they treat customers and waiting months and not getting what I paid for. Very disappointing.

Our records show your 12-month Which Way USA subscription was expected to arrive within 4-6 weeks from order date and nothing has been returned as undeliverable. An address change was successfully processed on October 30, 2023 and your subscription was extended for missed issues. Your subscription will now expire December 2024. The next monthly issue has been processed and will arrive in the next few weeks. Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. I have sent a response to your personal email address regarding this concern

      My review is based on a website advertisement and subsequent customer service. I’m on second year of paying for a magazine subscription as a gift for a relative. Looking for an extra gift for Halloween, website said order by 10/22 for Halloween delivery; the gift was Halloween merchandise. Pls Ed the order on 10/22 and paid $6.95 for shipping, after which I got an email saying delivery was 2-4 weeks. After a few tries with customer service, I was told I would have had to pay extra in addition to the $6.95 to guarantee “express” delivery, which was not disclosed before I ordered. They would not agree to ship it in time for $6.95, which I actually thought was high, so I canceled.

      My grandchildren enjoy the magazines, so I was disappointed when problems occurred at subscription renewal time. Problem #1: the website is terrible. I wasted at least an hour trying to process updates there. It would not process any updates to the names on my gift subscriptions. Nor would the website accept a new credit card number to pay for them. Problem #2: I emailed their Customer Service department to make these updates, and they did not do it either. I ended up cancelling 3 subscriptions due to these deficiencies.

      I live in Texas and have the magazines sent to grand children in Oregon. Every few months I get renewal notices for the monthly subscription that I pay yearly. I do not get replies via Email from customer service as I believe they attempt to take advantage of the elderly or just anyone that does not have delivery to their home. When I locate the correct phone number they apologize and assure me it is paid up. I can easily verify the payment with the cancelled check, but using a credit or debit card is not so simple. They may publish under another name you are familiar with. Thank you. *** ********** **** ****** ******** ** ***** The magazine is great and kiddoz love it!! (star rating)

      Hello Mr. Canterbury, thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us. I am sorry for any concern about our early renewal notices. Highlights for Children has nearly three million subscribers, each with their own preferences as to when they would like to receive renewal notices. In order to accommodate the preferences of as many of our customers as possible, we begin to send notices at the halfway point of each subscription. The renewal notices are simply reminders and invitations to renew. They are not bills. Customers who wish to renew early may return one of these first notices. Once the order has been processed, additional renewal promotions will not be sent.

      For those who wish to renew closer to the expiration date, these early notices may be held for later payment or may be discarded or recycled and one of the later renewal notices may be returned. Because continuous service requires advance planning for label runs, please be sure to allow four to six weeks processing time if possible. We don’t want a child to be disappointed by missing even a single issue of Highlights.

      We also send special promotional offers throughout the year, in which customers can take advantage of. Your gift subscriptions are currently active until the Dec24 & Apr24 issue. Please feel free to contact us at [email protected] with any additional questions or concerns.
