      On the website I saw a pop-up for 15% off when you sign up for text messages. I signed up. Got my text and checked the details section to verify where I could use the code. Policy states can be used IN STORE and at dsw com. Great, so I proceed to the store. Grab the shoes I want. Make my way up to the register, I ask about using the 15% off and am told that's for online only. I show the cashier where I click on details and it says in store or online. She calls her manager over. Jaime. (This is the La Jolla, CA store). Jaime then proceeds to speak over me saying I can't use the code in store and she doesn't care what it shows on the website that she has no way of entering the code.
      I'm sorry - but as the customer, this isn't my problem. The store advertised something, if the manager doesn't know how to do it, that's a training issue. Or if it truly can't be used in store, that's false advertising.
      DSW-- Please update the details section of your advertising to not include instore if you do not accept it instore. And/or better train your employees. Especially your "managers"

      Purchased a pair of sneakers that was needed for work. I had until 9/12/2023 to pick up from store. I attempted to pick up on 9/11/2023 with no success. I was told that the shoes were not there. I was not given an option to have another paired ordered. I was given a refund upon request but why was an item so and it wasn’t available. . Also, I used a $30 off coupon that I cannot get back. Even though I received a refund, the system shows the item was picked up.

      I placed an online order with dsw on 8/11/2023 for four ship to store items. I was then notified via email on 8/14/2023 that my order had unfortunately changed was given a 30% of coupon because one of the four pairs of shoes ordered was cancelled. I purchased two more pairs of shoes to be picked up in store that were available. I went to local mobile, al store tried on shoes from second order and one air for so other pair was returned in store. I was shown my order of the e three pairs of shoes that were shipped to the store but could not be released because corporate or customer service had not given the clerks permission to release them. I stated well just cancel the order then so I can be refunded for order #1. I have called the local store, their 888 number, been back to store on 8/19/2023 and still the order states processing, has not been cancelled and refunded. Today is 8/23/2023. I have been a long-standing VIP customer of dsw for a while and this is ridiculous. I also noted when I returned order I lost my donation credit and discount on my second order. When will I receive my $217.10 from DSW for shoes I don’t have and never will receive. This is poor service.

      I had ordered a pair of riding boots customer service sent it to someone else I had called and talked to a supervisor and ask her what happened to my daughter that's how I found out he sent someone else and they canceled my order and she was talking about I had to wait three to seven business days to get my refund so then she fixed this so I can get it in 24 hours so when the 24 hours was up I called back to customer service and spoke to another supervisor who started stating what the law was sat in my face and told me that they didn't take my money when I proved to him that they did take my money so then I hung up the phone and I called back and then I spoke to another supervisor and I told him that I want to the number to the administration he does give me the number you stood on the phone while I called I put in a complaint I get a call back from administration office and you would think she would say okay I'm sorry for what happened to you let me give you a discount on your next purchase nope all she said was oh I'm going to go ahead and listen to the recording and can I call you back if I need to and I haven't heard from her since bad Administration complaint office bad customer service from the managers

      I used to really like DSW. I have been a Gold member for about 12 years now. Well, after this last order and customer support experience, that is over.
      Background: I usually make a $200-$300 purchase once or twice per year to get shoes for myself and the kids. Online, the shipping information explained that orders to me will arrive in 4-7 business days. I placed an order on 21 February and received my goods on 4 April. After speaking with the customer service reps, they assured me that this was a one off and apologized. I took them for their word. On 09 June I placed an order and then received a confirmation shipment notification (same day). on 18 June I used the tracking number to get the status of my order and it stated that it would be delivered by 13 July. So, I reached out to customer service expressing my frustration and concern. Stating to them I could have purchased these items locally on the same day with the $250 I spent on DSW and not have to wait this long. I requested that they make it right or refund me my money so that I can go get the shoes my children need. I was told that because they already shipped, there was nothing they could do and could not provide me a refund.
      How does the saying go? Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

      There’s a store clerk at this store that’s so horrible she refused my unworn shoes and when I tried to ask her why she call the cops stating a black woman in the store. This is no surprise that such people would work at Dsw because I called there head office immediately and they took a report and never returned my call. Very unprofessional No customer service training or skills!! Save yourselves the trouble stay away from this DSW 917 Hartford turnpike in waterfront Ct 06385… she is horrible and by the look of things that’s the standard of employees DSW hire my first time and last time buying from DSW

      Required to provide multiple forms of personal information to buy a pair of shoes, at the physical store or else I could not check out (Phone number, Name & either Email or Home Address!) Was then given a coupon and told it was for 20% off, but it was actually contingent on signing up for a membership. Contacted customer service to let them know about the poor experience, instead of leaving bad-reviews, but never heard back in any way shape or form.

      On the DSW website they state they have Skecher's Women's Sneakers in Extra Wide. I ordered a pair from them and received Wide Sneakers not Extra Wide. I complained to them and they stated they would issue a replacement. From my research on the Skecher's website I learned that Skecher's does not make Women's EXTRA Wide Sneakers. DSW is misrepresenting Skecher's products and I feel they should be reported. And they still insist they have Extra Wide.

      I went there to purchase a few pairs of shoes and I actually found them. When I went to the register to purchase them, I asked the cashier a simple question as to whether I could have a raincheck on the free bags they were offering since they ran out of them. Suddenly the manager who was not even part of the conversation and was standing behind the cashier doing something else comes to the counter and rudely takes the coupon for the free bag from me and patronizingly points to the dates on the back and tells me: “You have to look at the dates! Do you see these dates!? When you get these coupons look at the dates! Do you see March 2 to March 5? So look at the dates next time you get these!” I was so shocked I didn’t know what to say. I was going to let it go, pay for the shoes and leave, until I saw a small defect on one of the pairs and asked if I could get 10% off for that pair. Again, ******* interjected and quite rudely said there is nothing wrong with them! You don’t get anything for that! At this point I have had it with her rudeness and attitude. I left the shoes and walked out. This woman does not deserve to be a manager. She has absolutely no people skills. She is rude, unwelcoming, and patronizing. I will never go back to this DSW again.

      I made an online purchase from DSW at the end of December 2022. Some shoes were ordered to be delivered to my house and others were ordered ship to store (**** *******).
      The shoes i ordered ship to home were all delivered.
      The shoes i ordered shipped to store were lost prior to getting to the store (in procurement according to the store manager). I told her i no longer want those items and the shoes were “cancelled.”
      I was billed on my credit card for the “lost” shoes that were never received and DSW will not refund my money. I have spoken with the store manager multiple times. She and I have both called their customer service # and spoken to multiple people, still no refund.
      I filed a dispute with my credit card company. DSW provided false information and denied my dispute. I provided the email receipt from DSW showing that those 5 pairs of shoes were cancelled. DSW provided them with a receipt showing they were never returned to the store.
      DSW is saying since i filed a dispute my credit card company needs to provide the refund. My credit card company is saying they are submitting documentation that i am not owed a refund and have possession of the product.
