    Horribly run company that is in the business of ripping off students and their parents. It's a total racket that they can charge the students account for things they never asked for or authorized. Then it takes months to get a refund!! So shady!!! should not be allowed!!

    I can not say enough about how helpful Julio Y****** is at Foxen. Our experience was so much better after connecting with him. We had some issues with uploading paperwork and he helped so much and mad it so much less stressful.

    I had the worst experience with Foxen for the past two weeks as I submitted insurance and got it approved, but then it disappeared suddenly and I resubmitted but it never got approved. I tried calling, emailed every account they listed, filled out every customer service form, etc. Somehow, I got an email from Julio Y****** who helped me so much by processing my renters insurance. He did it all and if he had never reached out, I wouldn’t be able to get the info processed and I would’ve wasted 150 dollars on external renters insurance. Foxen needs to have better ways of contacting their customer service. Julio deserves a promotion for helping me with this as everyone else at Foxen did nothing.

    Like others have said, this predatory company automatically enrolls tenants in its insurance policy, without notice. I received an email while I was sleeping that I'd be enrolled the next day, despite having received no other notice and having an active renters policy of my own.
    This is a predatory company with unacceptable practices. I've already filed a complaint with my state insurance commission and will be escalating my complaint to the management company of my building as well. If this continues to be an issue, I will be reaching out to my AG and local representatives as well.
    I'm not a lawyer, but I would be shocked if this company was operating within the bounds of insurance law. This company should not be allowed to continue existing if this is how they operate.

    ***** ** ****** is an apartment where my son is staying for college. They have used Foxen as their mandatory renters insurance unless you provide proof of private renter's insurance. We have *** ******** and they called Foxen and offered to fax proof of renter's insurance. Foxen told them they didn't want them to, so now I have to create an account with Foxen and provide proof of insurance. BS.

    SCAM! 0 stars. As others have stated they are charging for renters insurance without any notice to the renter despite policies being submitted to them as well as to the leasing company. I have been fighting with them for over a month to get the fees removed from my account. They emailed me stating it would be credited within 3 days and a month later I still have not been credited. The email states to contact the leasing company for questions and adjustments, but they aren’t responding to the property office manager either. Unfortunately using Foxen is the lessors choice but with their reputation of negligence and scamming, I am disappointed leasing companies aren’t more considerate of their renters.

    I have the same issue as the others listed below. I have my own insurance yet they are charging me every month for THEIR insurance. I've sent proof via email in addition to my insurance company sending proof via email with no response from Foxen. I've called 3 times and have left messages 3 times in addition to the email mentioned above with no response from Foxen. Should we be contacting the Attorney General in the state in which we reside or should it be the Attorney General in Ohio?

    Signed up without consent for a sham “liability waiver” and with continued documents proving my existing renters insurance they continue to charge me. It doesn’t even cover ANYTHING renters insurance is supposed to cover for a renter, this is a total scam and it is surely illegal to steal from renters like this without them opting into this kind of thing

    This company has been taking ***** packaging with my rent for several months. My apartment has flooded last night and I call the insurance that I'm forced to pay in addition to my own outside policy. All I am able to reach is a recording, which I have left several messages on just to in turn receive nothing in return!! Obviously there is a problem here. So many customers being robbed of their money each month for a "company" that doesn't even have a phone line with humans to answer. This is ridiculous and very unfortunate. I will be seeking further action
