Went to the Ogden Ave location in Naperville 6 times to have glass replaced. They claimed that my computer had "errors" in a brand-new car that has. never been in an accident and I'm the only owner. What's worse, is the store's manager took the liberty of lecturing me about liability several times. The Acura dealership has provided much better service in replacing my windshield. I would never return to this location again and have encouraged my insurance company not to use them for repairs.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

They gave me a date for my repair and I live out of town. I brought my vehicle there but there was a defect with the window and they said that they wouldn't be able to do it that day and would order a new one. After the new one was ordered, they gave me a new date. I brought my SUV in on that day, dropped it off, gave them my keys, and was told I would be called when it was finished. Came to pick up my vehicle, was told that my window was not repaired and that it was on backorder from Ford. No one informed me, no one tried to contact me, anything. This was my second time driving from out of town to get my vehicle repaired. Do they not inspect the window before you come in?Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

After repair I noticed that the damage looks exactly the same as it did before the service. I understand that the repair might not guarantee a complete restoration, but the lack of visible improvement raises concerns about the effectiveness of the service provided. I paid $189.00 for the repair, and it seems like I essentially received a glue fill-in with no noticeable change in the appearance of the damage.

When you use Safelite through your insurance I'm sure your experience is wonderful but using them without insurance is an awful experience. They use fals advertising to lure you in with a "special" then procedd to rip you off. Safelite had a promotion for using their mobile online service. The promotion was for $344.98 for the windshield, installation, warranty and windshield wipers. When I was billed they listed a starting price of $350.00 added molding, recycling fee, taxes and then charged $79.00 for windshield wipers. I get the molding, recycling fee and taxes. But to start at $350. Instead of $344.00 and adding the windshield wipers was my complaint when I called customer support. They refused to correct the price saying the way they itemized the bill that's what the price is. This promotion to encourage customers to use their online mobile service was a big fail. It is deciving, false advertising and gouging prices and outright lying. I will never use them or tell others to use them. Please beware of this promotion if you self pay, it is false advertising. If you use insurance I'm sure you are happy with the workers and such, I you self pay use a competitor company instead.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Used scratched up glass on my vehicle. Would not replace it because I reported it after the 30 day warranty. Glass is still falling from my door panels. They use cheap aftermarket glass. They claim that they would have never used scratched glass. Poor customer service and management.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

The best repair experience I've ever had! Their website was very easy to use, they handled everything with my insurance and the repair was done within days. I got a call asking if a specific time within the appointment window works for me. The tech was here when he said he would be. He checked in when he arrived and called me immediately when he was finished (a short 1 hour later). He also took only a moment to run through the temporary limitations with my shiny new windshield and was very kind and professional. There was no broken glass and it was cleaned with precision - two things as a cleaner and former body shop owner - I was not expecting. I'm a very happy customer!Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

If you need a refund, plan to wait a full month and the potential for your company to be audited. My company was charged sales tax and we are tax exempt. This may lead to us being audited for a $28 sales tax charge that took over a month with many phone calls to Safelite Corporate. The workers at the ****** office were very kind but communication between Corporate and regional offices is non-existent. We will not be using Safelite in the future after this incident.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Safelite autoglass used to be a good company. I have had many windshields replaced by them over the years.
But...my latest experience was a nightmare. I scheduled an appointment via internet site to go to one of their shops since there were no at home or office slots installations available. No problem here, not as convenient as I had in the past but ok. Prior to the appointment they required me to contact my insurance company and set up a claim. Not as convenient as the past, as they used to take care of this detail. I then supplied the info to safelite, but the next day they called and said they didn't have it. So I called my insurance company again, and they called with three way calling to safelite. All parties were now satisfied. Then the day of my appointment I get a call saying they don't have the insurance information. I told ***** in parts this was already taken care of. She said they must have not updated their documents. She then said it was now ok after she looked through the correspondence. Then she said my appointment was moved to the 12th now because of the insurance issue. Btw this is 1 hr before my appointment. So I said my appointment is still on for today right? She said I will find out and call you back. 30 minutes later I called her again, and she said she had to go to a meeting with her boss and that is why she didn't call me back. She said they have the parts and she was going to call the shop and see if we can still get it in. No call back. Then the shop called me back as I was looking for another company to do the job. I found out they actually did not have the parts! I was lied to by *****. The shop was very informative and helpful explaining the true issue why my appointment had to be moved parts issues, not insurance. If I knew this in the beginning, all would have been fine, but to be lied to???? I will complete this windshield replacement, as the parts are on order.
