      Stanley steamer carpet cleaners is a scam. They refused to clean the carpet under my sofa, then strong armed/intimidated me into giving them a hefty "tip" even though I was extremely unsatisfied with the work. You're better off renting a carpet cleaner from ********** and doing it yourself, which is exactly what I did a week later

      I had them come out & give me a quote for cleaning my tile ************** cleaning & seal. Got the quote, turned into my trust that was going to pay for this service. No discount or asked if coupon or Sr **** okayed by trust & they had talked to Stanley Steamer I called scheduled the service ****** when the guy came out (Fri afternoon) he tripled the price I was given & said I had to pay as soon as he was finished. (Double charging & listing the great ************** 2xs on his quote.) from a $1000+ to $3500 +) I had verified with Stanley Steamer prior that the products use were pet friendly & told YES. This guy that came out to do the job, said some of the products could make the dogs sick & id have to wait for 2 hrs before I could walk or let my pets on the floor. Needless to say, there was no way I could pay that (being a Sr & on fixed income). My trust company has contacted them with great difficulty. Stanley Steamer refused to honor their 1st quote & the reason they gave said the floor was in the worse when the guy came out which was a lie.

      I called and asked Stanley Steemer to come out and give us a quote on cleaning our waiting area grout and to seal. Someone came out gave us a quote and an appointment was set. They came out a few days later and informed us they did not have the proper equipment to clean the floor because its marble. They should have known that when the quote was given.I called and called and got the run around. Finally got it re-scheduled just to be told they could not do it when they came out and know it would be more.Very disappointed

      Agreed handshake deal changed after leaving my residence.My problem started when the two crew members attempted to clean my drier duck from the outside in. When they stopped they said it was clean. I have a 32' duct run from outside to the connecting duct that goes up and more forward and up again to the drier room. Then the duct work goes horizontally about 3 feet to the dryer. That last 8 feet did not get cleaned. And I disputed the $143.78 charge on my credit card. My credit card company made a deal with SS that I would pay $100 and they (SS) would wave the $43.78. A few weeks later the supervisor came and looked at the duct work and with a hand shake agreed to come back and clean the drier duct work from the dryer to the connecting duct for no charge. That did not happen. Apparently the supervisor was over ruled at the office and he sent me an email saying they could complete the job if I paid the $43.78. I never answered that email. I will never do business with this company again. First they were late to the first appointment, the supervisor was late to our follow up meeting and now the office called and said they were going to file a claim against me for the remaining $43.78. Watch their TV ad and you can see what is the correct method, but not the one used at my house.

      The Stanley Steemer Company (their Ft. *****, ** office) recently took one of my area rugs to their shop for cleaning. I was promised the rug back "no later than" 7/20/24. After five days later I still had not heard from them. So I called their Ft. Worth number and talked to a representative named *****. He said he was in a central call center rather than actually in the Ft. Worth location.. In my discussion with ***** about the delivery of my overdue rug I found him to be completely unhelpful and ineffectual. In fact, I don't think I've ever talked with anyone as unhelpful as he was. He did inform me the rug was in their "return bin" but he made no effort to schedule the return at any time I could be here to accept it. He offered no explanation why the rug was overdue, or why they had not gotten in touch with me to arrange it's return. He refused to let me talk to a supervisor, or the manager of that office. And the best he offered me was to return the rug in four more days. (That will be 9 days after the rug's promised return.) My wife and I have used the Stanley Steamer company several times in the past; we will never use it again, nor will we ever recommend it to any of our family or friends. We will be filing a report/complaint with the Better Business Bureau and several social media sites. And we will certainly share this disgusting experience with other people. It is my hope that Stanley Steemer will in the future train the employees who represent them to be more helpful to folks who keep them in business.

      Booked an appointment online. Didnt receive a confirmation or anything and when I call and finally reach someone, they dont have an appointment. ***** stated they dont control the website. Its your website. As I told her: have professionalism and accountability. You have neither nor competence! I will never recommend or use your services for personal or professional reasons. Own up to your mistakes. Youre a business. Act like one.

      I had my air ducts cleaned on January 30th 2024. They came in the tech cut a large who in my air duct running from the air handler without my permission. Trying to claim the inside was dirty and they could seal it for another $1000. I declined because I knew that wasn’t possible to sealed the inside nor was it necessary. I imagined the air duct clean would take longer and would run through the entire air duct of each vent. Instead they distribute dirt and dust and possibly mold at each vent. I even called the office I made the appointment after the techs left and asked them what is the process for the cleaning. I was told that they don’t go any further than 12” into the vents. I wasn’t pleased after they were done. I felt like I wasted almost $300 for nothing. A week after the “cleaning” both my kids got pneumonia and had to be hospitalized. Neither one of my kids have ever been that sick until I had Stanley Steemer performed air duct cleaning. Never will I used them for any service. This was a total scam and did nothing but made my house unhealthy. I will be seeking legal advice for medical expenses and loss wages.

      Your team came out to clean two rooms of carpet, one hall, one love seat, one sofa, one chair, and one ottoman in San Antonio, Texas on July 5. Invoice #************ I paid $571.56 for this. The area stayed wet/damp until the morning of July 7, and now I notice that the dining room table, the desk and the sideboard were never moved and were undoubtedly not cleaned under since there are no plastic sheets under those legs. The hall and the doorway to the kitchen still have traffic patterns despite supposedly being cleaned. And a bush outside the front door has been damaged by the equipment. I am very angry about this and feel used. The crew was Ismael M******* who said he was a supervisor and Samuel M******

      Clean a rug, this is a complete scam. First when I called they said to my 85 year old mother they will have to wash it by hand and she would get it back by Friday 6/21. After numerous calls I told them not to do anything because they have not finished and now they are saying Thursday so not only did they said 150 originally then ripped my 85 year old mother for 850 it has been a nightmare. I finally called the 800 number waited another 15 min and finally told not to do anything and the gave me the address 2085 congress ave I sent a truck to pick up the rug and they said it was in boynton in some warehouse. I don’t see with the reviews Stanley Steemer has that google is associated with them. My fault and google to maintain 5 stars when the service is horrendous. Run away ! Do not do business with Stanley Steemer.

      I hired this company in or about October 2023 and I'm still dealing with the damage they did to my home, personal property and substandard ductwork cleaning they performed on my home. They scratched my brand-new fake wood flooring, completely destroyed my almost new iPad and got dry wall dust all over Bose 1500.00 stereo unit. This company lacked respect for me, my home and my personal belongings therefore it is my opinion that this company should not be hired for any services under any circumstances. They are refusing to reimburse me for the substandard duct cleaning but have offered to redo the cleaning. Based on my previous experience with them, I do not trust them to return to my home without further damaging my things. Additionally, I was told a camera inspection of my ductwork would be conducted when I scheduled the appointment during the estimate. The estimator said he didn't have the camera, but the cleaning crew would be able to perform the camera inspection. The cleaning crew came and said they don't use cameras or have them. Plus, they will not reimburse me for a new iPad that shattered. They said they don't reimburse people full price for items they damage. I DO NOT RECOMMOND THIS COMPANY. I saw their Facebook reviews. Everyone knows company's delete the negative reviews, only leaving the positive ones. This review is my personal opinion. I wish I would have checked the Yelp reviews they cannot delete which are not favorable.
