      These guys are scammers and total rip off. Dont waste your hard earned money. They "steamed" my AC ducts..they are still dirty..
      They "Vancumed" my dry duct without my permission and charged me for it.
      When you call..No one is home and no ever follows up at their central location.
      Dont hire these guys!
      There is a good reason they have a very LOW BBB rating..I wished I checked yelp before hiring them.

      Wish I would have read all these reviews BEFORE I hired them!!!! My carpets and furniture were NOT CLEANED unless you consider cleaning w only lukewarm water is clean! The only thing that was gone was a small stain which was caused by something my granddaughter was drinking. Not that big of a big deal to clean. It was juice. It took a day and half to dry! In my opinion, They must hire people standing on corners in the street to do these jobs! Someone told me these techs expect to be tipped!! I gave them one… don’t ever come back! In my opinion, the people they hire must’ve ended up with SS because no one else wanted them. Bc of their service I think there’s a high turnover of employees. I never bothered to call back after finally reading reviews just bc I didn’t want to waste anymore of my time and money.

      This company is a scammer. The Sales person who came out to offer an estimate outlined a list of services that the team would complete, one of which included covering the ducts when flogging to prevent mold spores from being released into the home. We chose them, even though they were a bit pricier, because of the services they offered. When the crew showed up to clean out a/c ducts, they reeked of marijuana. They didn’t do half of what was promised(including covering the vents), and they were not able to think straight because our questions regarding the process were not answered. they looked very confused about the process. They did a terrible job “cleaning” the a/c ducts. They left dust everywhere. When we asked if the dust we could see everywhere would be cleaned, they stated it would get sealed over with spray paint instead, because he had “already brushed it”but we were watching the process and it didnt get brushed. Even that was barely done at all; half of our vents are still black and covered with dust, except now I can’t clean it myself bc it’s been caked w/spray paint. They also left dust on the floor, on our furniture, and all over our bathroom vanities, ruining our things that were on it. They stated they would cover it but only covered one piece of furniture. We attempted to contact Customer Service for a refund so i can hire a better company, and after being strung along for weeks, they said they will give us a 15% refund. I am appalled by the lack of quality assurance and the lack of customer service. I was connected to the call center manager who stated if I “had an older house” I couldn’t expect them to clean “every speck of dust”. This was very rude behavior from a customer service leadership representative and also, they didn’t even clean any specks of dust properly. I would NOT have chosen this company if I had known what services they would’ve actually provided versus what was promised, and if I’d known how terrible their customer service was.

      I utilized an online tool via the official Stanley Steemer website for a quote for services. The quote was reasonable, and I made an appointment. The day of the appointment arrived and the team member call me to verify the services, rooms etc. During the conversation, I was informed that in January 2024 the cost of carpeting cleaning in each room had increased. This has not been 'updated' by Stanley Steemer corporate on the official website. Furthermore, they advised me that deep cleaning floors in bathrooms was an additional charge and that also was not on the quote form. The purpose of a quote is to give the consumer a better idea of the projected costs.
      I was furious and would have cancelled the service, however, the services were needed for the home, because it's going on the market to be sold. I told the technician that I felt this was a deliberate bait and switch on their company's part. What is more, it's deceptive pricing practices to the consumer, especially retirees who live on a fixed income. The technician implored me to complain to their corporate offices, because they receive the same complaints time and again.
      SHAME on Stanley Steemer for this bait and switch! I had to find another $250 for services for my eldery Mother who lives on a fixed income. DO NOT USE this company!

      I engaged Stanley Steemer for a service to clean the air vents, air conditioner air handler, and furnace for my parents home. This was a crucial step for us due to my mother's illness, and we wanted to ensure her home was free from dust. While the initial service in January seemed promising we had issues.
      Despite the initial cleaning, dust continued to come out of the vents, prompting me to contact Stanley Steemer. I must commend their customer service, which was outstanding. They promptly returned for a second cleaning, but the dust issue persisted. A manager then inspected the vents, but his assessment seemed rushed and incomplete, claiming the cleaning was thorough after only looking at one vent.
      Given the ongoing dust problem, we decided to dispute the charges with American Express. After two months of back-and-forth, we engaged another company to inspect the vents. To our shock, they found substantial dust buildup and mold, contrary to Stanley Steemer's claims of thorough cleaning.
      It's deeply concerning that Stanley Steemer failed to notify us of the mold, especially considering the health risks, particularly to my elderly parents. While I understand they're not responsible for the mold, their lack of acknowledgment or apology is disappointing.
      Despite the empathetic customer service from individuals at Stanley Steemer, including those in customer relations, management ultimately declined any refund or further cleaning.
      In conclusion, while Stanley Steemer's customer service was commendable, the failure to address the ongoing dust issue and the subsequent discovery of mold and dust buildup post-service has left me deeply dissatisfied. The lack of empathy and refusal to rectify the situation is disappointing, and I cannot recommend their services based on my experience. The only good thing that came out is if we didn't have another company to inspect that mold that was found present would of not gone noticed which poses more of a risk to my parents .

      Upon arrival, they (Shaun the tech) called to tell me that they were able to perform the job but for more money.They asked me to come out to meet them because the amount for the job has changed and I needed to sign that in person. I agreed although had left a lockbox for them to enter, I told him that I would be there in 15 minutes and he said he would wait. When I got there less than 15 minutes later (11 minutes to be exact) they had already left. I called the office and spoke with a lady named Kris told me that they will go back out between 11am and 3pm and that I wouldn’t have to be there as long as I sent them an email with my scanned driver’s license and I gave them my credit card info.the lady tells me that they are on the way and WILL BE THERE AT 4PM! I leave my law firm yet again to meet them there and again, THEY DIDN’T SHOW UP!!! I called and asked for a manager and then I got hung up on,I called back and asked for Michael P******, Mgr who hung up on me and got his voicemail. I told them that before I put a google and yelp review, I just needed to get this done and he never called me back, I then left a voicemail for the owner Mr. G****** and didn’t receive a call back from him neither. This has caused me a lot of trouble because now I have to cancel the other crew going out after them to clean and had to cancel the contractor going out to do finishing touches.
      The management was no more helpful and just as unprofessional. My business went with Stanley Steamer because it is a national known and recognized company that should have a quality of standard for professionalism and contractual adherence. I received neither. I was not only stranded in a situation where had it been clarified early on in the day I could have possibly gotten another company, but now wasted a day waiting going back and forth with extremely unprofessional employees and management. I lost money in my business, in the rental not being completed by today, and more importantly my time.

      Service Technician was to arrive for floor cleaning at 9 AM. Current time is 10:43 AM and his arrival time keeps getting longer. Pricing on their website came to less than $300. His pricing, with additional area rug cleaning, is now >$1000. Poor communication regarding and professionalism.

      Stanley Steemer is a complete FRAUD! We had someone named Timothy come out to our home to clean our carpet. Upon arrival he refused to move any furniture around, spent 15 mins cleaning 1 room and stairs and made my carpet look worse than before. On top of this, his hose broke and there was water on my hallway walls, all over my hardwood floors, to the point where he had to go outside to his truck and get a mop to clean the water up (I have video surveillance EVIDENCE!!!).
      I immediately told him I was not paying for such a horrible service, and he stated that he called his manager, explained the situation and that I would not be charged for it. Well that was a lie...3 days later we were sent an e-bill stating payment is due otherwise they are sending it to collections. Spoke with thee most disgusting, ignorant, uneducated manager named KIM at their corporate office and was told that she knows nothing about the situation, doesnt care and threatened me to make the payment or collections. She needs to get mental counseling! I have NEVER seen such a scamming, unprofessional company. How are you still in business Stanley Steemer??? I wouldnt refer them to my worst enemy.

      The nightmare with this company began on August 1st, 2023. Today is Jan 26, 2024 and this issue still hasn’t been resolved. I hired Stanley Steemer to clean 2 rugs for me (1 was a 9x12 wool rug) and the other was 4x6. The original person who came out to my home was as nice as could be. He assured me it would be no issue to clean the rugs, and he described the process and said I would get my money back if I wasn’t satisfied. I paid Stanley Steemer $519.60 for this fiasco. (I paid more than $2000 for the rugs.) After about 3 weeks, the rugs came back dirty. They had assured me they inspect them before they leave the cleaning facility, but nope, they looked awful. The stains were basically spread out across the rug. They told me they wanted a 2nd chance to clean them. I allowed that. The 2nd time when they called to schedule deliver, they assured me they would roll out the rugs to inspect them before delivery. When they delivered them, the rugs still looked awful. In fact, they scrubbed so hard, they looked worse than before. Then I started dealing with a manager. He said they would give me a little over $100 back (its been so long, I don’t remember exactly how much). The corporate office called to verify my address and guess what?...I’ve never received anything. I’m sick of calling the manager. Every single time, he says “oh let me look into that.” He never gets back to me and never has an answer for me. No One should ever use Stanley Steemer for delicate rugs. I will tell everyone I know not to use them. They are downright dishonest and horrible at what they do. I am out more than $2500 with nothing to show for it.

      I’ve been using SS for 24 years. In the beginning, I never had a problem. However, the last three times the crews came, something was broken. The first time it was a picture frame. I didn’t complain. The second time it was a plant, I didn’t complain. This time it was an iPad and now the general manager refuses to replace it.
