      Very untrustworthy in a new world of TRUST REVOLUTION on a technological communication. I was strong along all day ALL DAY! “ Yes you are next on
      Our list for service…that was at 2 pm. Nobody showed, nobody communicated delays or malfunctions. 6:30 all of a sudden the machine is broken they can’t come. Shady concerning business practices I beg one and all do not trust, confide or use this company to solve you cleaning catastrophes. I beg of you do not trust this customer company…………………..

      STANLEY STEAMWR CARPET IS THE WORST CARPETCLEANING BUSINESS THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO DO MY CARPET ON 11/27/23. THEY HAD ME ON 12-2PM I WAITED AND THEN 30 BEFORE 2PM THEY CANCELLED ON ME SO THEY CAME THE NEXT DAY. AND THE TECH DID MY CARPET THEY DID A TERREIBLE JOB LEFT SPOTS ON MY CARPET FROM HIS BIG MACHINE HE WAS CARRYING.HE WAS IN MY HOUSE 25 MINUTES TO DO 3 ROOMS AND HALLWAY.FOR 118$. WHY WOULD HE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF AN OLD LADY LIKE HE DID ALL I WANTED WAS MY CARPET CLEANED THE TECH DID TOTALLY OPPOSITE. MY CARPET LOOKED LIKE IT WAS NEVER CLEANED I HATE I WASTED MY TIME AND MONEY WITH STANLEY CARPET CLEANER.BE AWARE INDIVIDUALS THEY WILL NOT DO THE WORK BUT THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY. THEN THEY TOLD ME I DIDNT GET THE WARRANTY. THAT WAS A LIE I SPOKE WITH 3 STAFF MEMBERS AND NOT ONE OF THEM TOLD ME ABOUT ANY WARRANTY. THEY TELL YOU THAT TO COVER THERESELVES BECAUSE THEY DONT WANT TO DO THE CARPET OVER OR THEY USE THAT SO THEY WANT GIVE YOU A REFUND. BAD BUSINESS STANLEY STEAMER NEEDS TO BE REPORTED TO BETTER BUSINESS BEREAU.

      Unethical and sneaky billing practices.
      Stanley Steemer Carpet Cleaning
      Don’t hire them!!
      They cleaned three 12-14’x14’ rooms and cost us more than new carpet.
      Bill ended up three times the original order. When I questioned it and said I didn’t want to pay for things I didn’t know I was being charged for, the worker Taylor called me a liar. Raised his voice and wouldn’t let me explain my concerns.
      Said if I didn’t pay he would call the sheriff and have me arrested. Said he didn’t know there were people like me in the world, I was such a thief.
      I was afraid and felt pressured.
      A leather power recliner was damaged and I had to pay an electrician to come and rewire it.
      Called the regional office in St Cloud Mn to try annd get a bill explanation and work something out regarding the very high bill.
      They said the same thing, and demanded the check.
      So be warned….Stay away from Stanley Steamer Carpet Cleaner.

      Stanley Steemer is a bait and switch and a fraud. We ordered cleaning for a love seat ($89) and our bathroom tile ($47) on the Stanley Steemer website. The crew arrived and told us that the shower floor, which is just an extension of the bathroom floor, was an extra $75. There was no option on the Stanley Steemer website to specify specific parts of the bathroom to clean...it was presented as a flat rate. The Stanley Steemer crew said that they have heard that complaint repeatedly. Right. The bathroom floor to be cleaned is 35 square feet and the shower is 12 square feet. Why would the bathroom floor cost $47 but the shower floor, which is a third of the size, cost $75? When the crew said they were doing us a favor and could charge us $150 for the shower, the shakedown came into focus. As the company was not going to honor its commitment, we pulled the bathroom tile off the order told the crew to just do the love seat.
      Then Stanley Steemer stole from us. Without our knowledge the crew snuck in a "(MISC) minimum price adjustment" of $36 without showing us the final order authorization. The crew fraudulently signed the order authorization in our name by claiming "Customer unavailable for signature". We were standing right there. We didn't realize that they had inflated the price of the service without our authorization until they were long gone and we looked at the email receipt.
      If you use this company, make sure your price quote doesn't include any gotchas and insist on looking at the final order authorization to make sure you're not being overcharged.

      I recently got my carpets cleaned and felt like I was way overcharged for the service provided. There was no furniture moved by the technician and honestly, I spent more time myself moving furniture before hand and putting it back afterwards than the technician spent at the house cleaning carpets. I had two very small bedrooms, a master bedroom, and a living room cleaned and he was in and out in 30 minutes. I had to ask him to move the couch and helped him myself move it if I wanted anything clean underneath it. None of the furniture in the bedroom was moved either. Making the total area that was actually cleaned Very very minimal. I was charged almost $300 for the service, but he was only here for a total of 30 minutes. I do not feel like the carpets were left in any better of condition them before he came. Furthermore, there is a plant in one of the rooms that was not moved either and therefore a dirt stain that was not removed at all. The plant was small and definitely easily movable. The dresser that I helped the technician move also was not put back into place afterwards, and I had to do that myself as well. I have spent over two hours, putting things back and again he spent less than 30 minutes cleaning the carpets.

      I have used Stanley Steemer for many years and have been very satisfied with quality of work. However, we had carpet cleaning(?) on Oct 9th and I’m not sure what they did, besides make my carpets wet… as I had to spot clean after, where I spilled something and I have never seen so much dirty water in the tank of my steam cleaner. Had to spot clean in 2 more rooms where they supposedly cleaned carpet with Sam results. Very disappointed in service and will find someone else to clean carpets etc., in future unless, SS makes this right.

      I called Stanley Steemer and was given a quote to clean my carpets. When the cleaner showed up (way past the time window I was given) he looked around asked if I had pets and said the estimate only covered steaming - Not Cleaning! I didn't even ask for an estimate. I asked him to leave. This kind of bait and switch is outrageous - a waste of time and huge hustle. I'd wasted most of my day waiting for them to show up and I want to help other people learn about their hustle before wasting their time, too.

      This business doesn't understand customer service! I paid them to clean and provide a maintenance/protective coat on my hardwood floors. This meant that my family, and our pets, had to stay out of the house for 4 hours while the service was completed and the floors dried. When we went back inside (after the technician had left and the floors were dry) we realized part of the floors had never been cleaned. I ended up cleaning the floors myself, and contact the branch to ask for a partial refund just for the room that was not cleaned properly. They told me I could schedule a day for a re-clean-- meaning I could miss work for another day and sit at home for a 5 hour window for their technician to arrive, move all of my furniture and small items, wait outside for another 4 hours for the floors to be clean and dry, then go back inside and put everything back where it belongs. No thanks! I don't have time for that, and they should have done the job right the first time. All I wanted was a partial refund to make up for the portion of the service they did not actually perform (and therefore they did not actually earn the funds). But no. The only other solution they've offered was a $75 gift card for a future purchase which, based on this experience, won't be happening.

      Not trustworthy at all.
      I was given a firm quote on-line of $142.00 to clean 2 rooms of carpet.
      When the cleaner, Aaron, arrived, he was shown the 2 rooms. When he saw that the living room had a 12x12 area rug (much smaller area to clean than wall to wall would have been) he said "that's going to be more" and began to use his calculator!
      BTW, the wall to wall in the bedroom, due to unmovable heavy furniture, was even less area to clean than the living room.
      Anyway, he announced it would be $322.xx !! to do the job. I showed him the door.
