The gentleman that did the work was wonderful to work with. My plan includes 3 carpeted rooms and hardwood in 2 rooms and hallways. I initially requested the 3 carpeted rooms for $126.00 promotion they had going on. When Michael got here he sweet talked my elderly mother of 82 years old into the yearly plan for $475.00 starting in April 23, which included 3 carpeted rooms and 2 rooms for hardwood and hallways. When I called to schedule the 2nd service today I was told that my plan only included 2 carpeted rooms. I had the invoice in hand and that is not what it said. I was also told that when Michael came out he only did 2 rooms carpeted. I work from home and was home at the time he was here and he did 1 living room carpet, 2 bedrooms carpet and 2 rooms hardwood and hallways, so what they told me was a lie. When I got the run around with the scheduler on the phone I requested to speak to a manager regarding this matter. The first manager Tamera Daniels never even called me back. I am now waiting for Chad a manager to call me and I still haven't received the call. I WILL NEVER USE STANELY STEEMER FOR ANYTHING AND THEY ARE A SCAM ON THEIR YEARLY PLANS. I WILL REPORT THIS TO THE BETTER BUSINESS AS WELL AND IN THE REVIEWS FOR THE COMPANY. It is really a shame that businesses treat their customers this way. The person who did the carpet was nice. But for what we paid the smell left on my carpet is horrid. We just made 2 yrs living in a brand new home. Wanted to do routine cleaning on our carpet. No vacuum was done prior, boots were worn while cleaning. It was left overly saturated which is the wet moldy smell left for weeks now. Pur carpet smells like 100 years old and barely turning 2 yrs. They wanted to send out to have re cleaned but we were told it could cause damage to the padding if left too saturated which could be the smell that we may be smelling. We were not offered any other option. We would like a refund to have the problem resolved. Air Duct Cleaning They came the first time, It took about 4 hours. The AC units have to be turned off during the cleaning and when they turned them back on after finishing. Debris started flying out of all the air vents in the house. Large chunks of dry wall, insulation, dust, (what looked like mold) for hours! I have a baby, so I was frantically cleaning and dusting but it was just flying out faster than I could clean. I called back and they rescheduled to have it cleaned again a few days later. They came back and admitted the vents were still very dirty. They were here for 60 minutes, so clearly they didn’t do a full cleaning or full inspection of the previous improper job. They offered a $450 dollar gift card to SS to clean the carpets and sofas which got covered in debris for days because of their mistake. We then left for vacation and when we got back a week later, the house was filthy and could smell dirt in the air. My whole family got sick a day later including my baby, coughing, sneezing, wheezing. I called them back, and they sent out an inspector. He said our soft vents were destroyed and particles were flying off and the vents were very dirty. In his opinion SS should never have touched our vents because of the delicate situation they were in. and if he had been the first inspector that he would have explained to me that if they clean the vents then the soft vents will crumble and cause issues. So clearly the first guy destroyed our soft vents. I called the manager again. They gave us refund for the service but took back the gift card. We are all still sick including my baby. It will be $450-500 to clean the carpets and sofas, $800-$1000 for a full deep clean of the house, whatever medical attention we will need, and I have quotes scheduled to replace the soft ducting that was damaged by SS. And any long term health effects from breathing in whatever particles they loosened in there. I called to schedule a cleaning and was quoted a price for 4 rooms and a hallway. I was told if the two bedrooms were not ready the technician would take $40 per room off the charge. He was asked not to clean them but still Charged $80 for rooms that were not cleaned. We knew that the high traffic areas would likely not come clean but there were areas where the same furniture has sat since the carpet was laid that was not cleaned!! He Did not run the machine all the way to the walls and did not go all the way to areas where the floor transitions to vinyl which left obvious changes in what was cleaned and what wasn’t Refused to move even a small side table and a child’s rocking chair to clean under it for my disabled elderly uncle. Yes no one told me that they don’t move anything or I would have had it moved before they came. There was still dust on areas that should have been no problem at all to get to. All of the furniture had been remove from the house because new furniture was being delivered the next day. It should have been an easy job! Now the new furniture is in the house and it will be hard to move to clean under and around it so this has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. My daughter and I used a basic home shampooer and went over it and the amount of dirty water that came off of it was absolutely ridiculous considering he had paid to have it cleaned just 24 hours before. I’ve tried multiple times to get the situation resolved but the manager is impossible to get in contact with. BEWARE! Do NOT use this company. They did a poor job and then REFUSE to call back. They claim they've reached out a couple of times, but not once have I received a call. Kaitlin, the manager at Windsor, CO location and someone named Shawn (?) have not tried to make things right and all I can do is talk to people at the call center. Up until today, every one I spoke to at the call center was super helpful and nice. Amy, from Ohio (why she felt the need to tell me where she is from is beyond me) was rude and spoke over me. I have pictures to prove the "job" their sorry tech did was nothing short of absolute sh!t. He was there for 30 minutes and most of that time was moving the hoses around his van. He made one pass in each room (2 bedrooms) and then left. I ended up using my own carpet cleaner and removed the grime that he didn't even try to get up. They (the call center) offered a "redo" and I told them I already did the job, I want a refund. They told me they don't have "money back guarantees". I am so tired of chasing around "managers" who don't care and claim they are calling but aren't getting a hold of me. Believe me, I am WAITING FOR THEIR CALL and answering every stupid spam call just in case it's them. I should've read the reviews before I let these people take my money. I am the fool in the end for not researching this company.

My past two cleaning experiences have been less than acceptable. Last year I was very unsatisfied with not only the services I received but the high pressure sales extra services that the technicians forced upon my wife to accept. These services raised my estimate by $150.00 and caused Financial heartache during the pandemic, when money was scarce to begin with. I sent my displeasure in the survey that was sent to me and did not receive any response.
This year I wanted to give Stanley another chance since I have been using your services for over 20 years and usually receive good results and courteous technicians.
Whin I scheduled service this year I asked in the comments to NOT do any additional services.
Yesterdays cleaning was not only as last years experience but worse; my wife was once again pressured into accepting additional services, the services I received were not up to par (my carpet is still dirty) and I was actually charged double for the first time in over 20 years for a room that I never paid extra for in the past. My invoice is 2414801-39.

I would like a credit of the extra money I was charged ($137) and a different crew come back and spend more than 45minuits to clean my carpets properly.

These people need to be investigated for fraud. They quoted me $655 and then charged $1300+ for literally nothing. They didn’t even finish the job. At no point was this new price discussed, and while I was out, they had the audacity to finesse a veteran with a TBI. On April 21 2023 I had Stanley Steamer over to clean a semi sectional and 2 area rugs. The guy that came over recommended to have the 6x9 area rug clean in their site as it was wool and I agreed. He cleaned the sectional the the 5x8 area rug. Water was left around the area where he cleaned, so after he left I quickly dried both areas, specially where the sectional is since the floor is interlocking laminate and wanted to prevent water sipping through the joints. The worse part is the area rug they cleaned in their site, it shrank almost 2'' on both the length and width and had ruffled edges. I called Stanley steamer to complain a bout this. The person on the phone said a manager will call to talk about it within 48 hours. I did get a call and the person on the other end said "I understand there was some damage to your property and an area rug". I said no, no damage to the property. That's not what I explained to the representative when I called the first time to complain. So I was explaining what my complain was about and all of the sudden the call dropped. Waited about 2 hours for a call back, nothing. Called back their 800# and was told they will get back to me. That was Monday 04/24/23. No one has called back as of 04/29/2023. I signed up for services online expecting a great job done on carpets and sofa chairs. When the technician arrived, he said the bedroom actually counts as two rooms and the two stairs with carpet count as an entire hallway. After he finished, stains were still left on the carpet, as well as pet fur. He overcharged me by $260, even after I told him he miscounted the number of rooms. I called customer service to ask for a refund and was given the name of the branch manager, who was no help at all. He stated they would have to come back and re-clean the carpet before offering me a refund, but they were booked out too far for it to help me any. If I could give zero stars I would. We waited for four hours of them to arrive. When I called at the end of the window to arrive I was told,” Whoopsie everyone went home.” We’ll give you 15% to reschedule! No way! I wasted four hours of my life I can never reclaim. Avoid!
