      They told me that I would save money more than if I stayed with ********* or whatever the electric company is around here in *********** and would not take no for an answer and lied to me through his teeth not once but twice and then when I sent him a text to complain about does that the other thing he called me and was very disgusting told me he liked it raw and that I could call him anytime and he would personally come to my house and give me a prize whatever that is and I called and reported him and they didn't care

      Terrible Experience with IGS Solar Avoid at All Costs I am extremely disappointed with my experience with IGS Solar. From the very beginning, their customer service has been beyond poorunresponsive, unhelpful, and clearly designed to frustrate you into giving up.When I purchased my home on January 31, 2022, I also took over the existing solar lease. *** never informed me that I needed to connect the system to my utility provider, Duke Energy. As a result, for six months I was unknowingly paying both the solar lease and full electricity billsessentially wasting over $700 because the solar system wasnt contributing any power. I only discovered this after reaching out with my first ************** forward to June 2024: a solar panel failed. I contacted IGS multiple times, provided photo evidence and an inspection report from their own technicianbut nothing has been repaired. Its now April 2025 and the system is still not fixed.What pushed me to write this review is the aftermath of Hurricane ******. The storm damaged my roof, specifically under the solar panel mounts. This caused a leak and created soft spots in the roofing structure. Ive contacted *** numerous times to report the issue and request they send an inspector or arrange for panel removal so I can repair my roof. Theyve done nothing. Meanwhile, roofing companies and independent solar contractors have refused to help because the lease is tied up with IGS, leaving me stuck with active water damage and faulty panels.This has been an incredibly stressful, expensive, and frustrating experience. I would strongly advise anyone considering a solar lease through IGS Solar to think twice. Once you sign, they disappearunless its to collect payments.

      I am writing to file a formal complaint against IGS Energy for engaging in deceptive, high-pressure, and unethical sales tactics based both on my own experience and concerning behavior reported by neighbors in my community. Last October, a salesperson wore a yellow utility-style jacket with the IGS Energy logo. He knocked on my door, and when I told him I dont engage with solicitors, he insisted that information had already been sent to all my neighbors and that I was one of the few who hadnt responded. He appeared very professional and created a false sense of urgency, implying that I was being overcharged by my energy supplier and needed to act quickly. I asked him to leave information to review, but he kept pressing, insisting the offer was about to expire. He then asked me to retrieve my ******* and electric bills so he could "check" them. Regrettably, I agreed to sign up and since then, Ive noticed no change in my energy bills whatsoever. Then, this week, they returned. I wasnt home, but they left a message claiming I was saving money and that they wanted to "check in." What I learned next was even more troubling: a representative went to one of my neighbors and falsely claimed that I had referred them. This was an outright lie. Fortunately, my neighbor saw through it and declined but the fact that my name was used to gain trust is unacceptable. These tactics misrepresenting affiliations, exploiting urgency, and name-dropping neighbors to build false credibility are unethical and, in my opinion, border on fraud. IGS Energy appears to be running a coordinated effort that misleads consumers into switching providers under false pretenses, and that behavior should not go unchecked. I strongly urge the BBB to investigate IGS Energy and take appropriate action. Consumers deserve honesty, transparency, and respect. I am requesting they cancel my subscription without charging me any additional subscription fees!

      I am rejecting this response because IGS Energy has not addressed the core issue: the use of deceptive, high-pressure, and unethical sales tactics. As I stated in my original complaintbased on both my personal experience and reports from others in my communityIGS representatives falsely claimed I had recommended their services to my neighbors. This was simply untrue and a clear attempt to mislead and pressure people into signing up. Such behavior is unacceptable and need to exposed.

      On 4-10 at 430pm I received a letter (Dated 4-8) from IGS Energy to opt out of the City of ************** gas program. Contacted IGS and they can't opt me out yet but I need to opt out prior to 4-29. Had the same issue last year after several calls and it was not till receiving a email from Columbia Gss did I get out of the *** program that I was told on my second call to IGS Energy I was opted out. Headed down the same hole as last year and was told by Columbia Gas today people are charged $200 fee if by IGS Energy if they get switched over and want to go back to Columbia Gas. I want to stay with Columbia Gas but even Columbia Gas is saying they can't do anything at this point it has to be done by IGS Energy. This is a scam because they should be able to opt you out before a letter is even sent out and last year I was given a opt out number that didn't even mean anything. Not to mention a representative for IGS Energy came to my door last week and I told him I was mot interested and wished to stay with Columbia Gas and my current electric company ***. What else do I news to do and how many calls do I need to make to leave things the way they are. This is ridiculous.......

      My husband made a payment to purchase a solar system from *** company on April 2 nd, 2025 for $18,196 but we have not heard from *** company since the payment was sent. On the same day, I emailed Dorales and IGS support, but none of them ever responded. I called on April 7 th, and asked customer service about my email sent to them and need proof of ownership of this solar system. I was told to be contacted by them. This is not the first time, but from previous issues, IGS faculties have not shown concerns about my calls. These employees would not be available, or were on vacation or none of them wanted to call me back or email me. I do not know how long I will get my proof of ownership since one week passed by. Not even a respond email but *** faculties ignore my messages sent to them. This company is not a professional at dealing with customers at all. This ********************** system has been installed on this property since 2019 and was leased from a previous owner. We purchased this house in November 2022 and continue this lease. We decided to purchase and paid this solar at expensive price and we still did not get any papers or ownership of this solar from ***. I asked to buyout this solar last year, and was told this would cost us $15,591 but then IGS raised up to $17,244 in December 2024 and within three month for the cost of $18,196. We know this is a game that *** want to take advantage from us but we had to pay for it. We are so tired of this company. No sincere, no respect to us at all. We need *** respond and sent us proof of ownership of the solar system and warranty.

      I am rejecting this response because: 

      I did not speak to IGS at all.  IGS did not call me.  What I want is my ownership of the solar system.  My payment was made on April 2nd, ********************************* documents that I own this solar completely.   I emailed to IGS the same day  and mentioned that  I wired transfer $18,196 and asked IGS to confirm the payment but IGS ignored my message.  I have not gotten any email before April 10.   It's been 10 days passed by that's why I filed a complaint with BBB.  Today April 10, 2025,   IGS  sent the copies of purchase of  agreement and bill of sale.  These two forms  I  signed  since March 29, 2025 and I already have these on hands.   IGS choose to ignore my message and did not tell when is my documents will be ready.

      I read the responded IGS message via BBB. I didnt speak to IGS Energy but an *** employee chose to send me by emails since I made the complaint to BBB. I felt frustrated dealing with this situation alone before.   After contacting BBB, this employee, ******* responded right away and sent me proof of ownership.  Contacting BBB is such a big help.   I received an ownership and the message are full of explanations for all the dates of what she did and  told me that she contacted a legal department that I am an aggressive and accusing her for not doing her works and  asked to speak to someone whom higher rank than her.  Instead of apologizing, she shows an attitude toward me.  Before I made this complaint,  I emailed both ******* and support team and asked them to respond the receipt of paymen (April 2nd, 2025).  I was aware Dolrles should be back on April 8th,but she did not respond me.  None of the member of her team member informed me any receipt of my payment.   I decided to file a complaint to BBB.   I have to explain that this situation is not first time.  When I agreed and emailed them  to purchase at price $18,196.  I never got any documents to sign and had to keep emailing them several times.  When I called IGS, one of the employee told me it was an estimate price.    I was worried that they kept quiet and never answered me  probably, they raise up price more for the fourth time.  It took her three weeks to send me the form of purchase of agreement and bill of sale  to sign. Those were sent by *******.  She mentioned nothing of what she sent me and no explanation of what she sent.  I read and found they were the Purchase of agreement and Bill of sale.  I didnt understand one of the paragraph and emaied her and asked her to explain me but she never responded me.  I called and asked to speak to her. I was put on hold and was told she wasnt available.  I was told she works on M F and was asked to call back.  I called back and was told she was on vacation.  My experience with some of IGS employees, was horrible and terrible. I spend $18,916.  This is big amount of money.  I should not be treated this way.

      A man came to my door, offered to cover the gas lines from my house to the street at no additional charge. I signed a couple things went along with my day. When I got my electric bill in the mail, I noticed a charge from a company called IGS energy so I called and canceled it cometo figure out. He didnt just sign me up for some kind of electric program. He signed me up for a gas and a home warranty program. I already have a home warranty that Ive had with my home since Ive purchased it. Why would I sign up for another one sowhen I called and spoke to a supervisor, he got very upset that I was canceling something that I didnt even know I had and then to tell me that I am not myself and he wasnt speaking with the actual ****** ***** Anyway I got to the cancellation and he told me that there was a fee to cancel of $99 and $149 per utility and if I dont pay that its going to go against my credit

      I was being charged $90 per month for the last two months by *** and I have not ever done business with them and they are not my electric supplier. I had to cancel my debit card and I have no idea how they accessed my number. It appears to be fraud.

      On 3/26/2024, my wife answered the door to a sales *** from IGS energy - **** ****************** # *******. Per his introduction, she mistakenly thought he was ***resenting Columbia Gas, since he thanked her for being a loyal customer for so many years. She was surprised to have someone from the company at our house. She was being told that gas prices were going to escalate in the coming months and through the winter, and that we would be protected from this by having the price locked in. He also commented that *** was going to be the supplier for Columbia Gas as of some date in Feb 2025, because they had won this business. Because of this confusion and not really understanding the basis of his visit, she didn't fully understand that she was signing an annual contract for *** to supply our natural gas. Later after he left, I called the *** on his cell phone and asked the reason for his visit. He explained that *** is a supplier of natural gas and my wife entered into a contract for their service at $0.97 per ccF. I had my last invoice from CG to review and found we had paid $0.56 per ccF. I was upset and asked him to cancel the contract immediately. He said it would be done. I spoke to Columbia Gas to obtain a better understanding of this and they didn't have IGS listed as our upcoming supplier. They noted we had 7- days to cancel and suggested we call back on April 1st to review and cancel, if a change of suppliers was received. I actually received an email from CG on 3-27 noting we had requested the change. I contacted Columbia Gas and we cancelled this potential change. It's unfortunate that this happened and I'm very disappointed with this sales ***'s ****** to realistically deceive my wife into signing this contract. Also, that he clearly didn't cancel this, after stating he would. It's my hope that he doesn't prey on others who don't understand their options and get tied into overpaying for their natural gas supply.

      I own a 3 family in ** with IGS Solar. My tenant from the 1st floor alerted me to the fact that her electric bill was very high. When checking the Solar, I called Enphase on 1/27/2025 and was told that there was a problem with 3 microinverters since Sept 2024. Enphase customer service *** sent an email to ******************** asking for someone to take a look at it. I sent a few follow up emails and finally received a call from IGS (male) and he pushed back immediately and tried to tell me the system was working correctly. When I asked him to take a look at the ARRAY in Sept 2024 - he did and agreed there was a problem. I did not write down his name nor remember the exact date. I sent a few more emails and then today I called and asked to speak to a Supervisor. I spoke to "Mar" - who would not provide her last name and wasted more time. First, she couldn't find my emails, so I sent it to her. Then she claimed the issue was fixed in a few minutes by READING THE ***** string and NOT checking the system array data. More than 70% of the panels on the 1st floor roof are black but according to "Mar", this is normal. Then she asked me who called me because it was not in the notes on my account - she continued to push back with her script that there was NOT a problem. At this point I don't know what to believe. Beware - I was a customer previously for ****** for over 5 years - never had a problem. I will regret forever doing business with IGS Solar - I have no confidence nor trust in their system or staff. Even the basic customer service step of updating a customer's account with up-to-date notes was NOT done. IGS Solar SLA is extremely poor and final question whoever reads this - wouldn't you send someone out to at least VERIFY the system IS working properly due to the aging of the issue and the fact that a customer was ignored and lied to?

      I am rejecting this response because dumping me to **************** is not a resolution. I already wasted too much of my time reporting the issue to multiple 'economical' heavily accented customer service reps/manager * why would anyone with a working brain call the same useless **** and have to explain everything again? Who knows if my solar system is working 100% * maybe a real customer service manager could review my account and listen to the 'recorded calls for training' and exercise some due diligence and then CALL ME. Now that would be the definition of customer service. Pathetic response * seriously but not surprising * I bet the dipstick who wrote the response didn't even open up the email that I attached to the complaint.

      I accept the business's response to resolve this complaint someone from *** reached out to me asking me to email the electric utility bills. At this point, I don't have the time nor energy to fight to get someone to physically look at the solar system - this appears to be equal to asking IGS to climb Mt Everest for a bucket of snow.
