      Zero stars, do not buy. Trying to buy a house and we may lose it because they cant run a credit check or get paperwork out. They are a joke!!

      Stay away from this company. They don't explain there is a $99 cancellation fee for EACH service if you don't cancel in 7 days. I called at 11 days cancel because the man that came did not explain there was a cancellation fee, he did not tell me I would be paperless and he told me the rate was lower than what I am paying which it is not. This is a RIPE OFF!!

      IGS IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE. We had someone come to our house offering a lower bill. Our utility bills are in my name, not jointly with my spouse. This will be important later. Ive avoided these scams for awhile, but they lucked out when my husband answered the door and signed us up for what he thought was a good deal. After a month, our bill doubled, the following month, more than doubled, and the following month, it went up an additional $30 on top of what it already went up. My husband called to cancel and the representative said that since the account is not in my spouses name, they cannot talk to him but they let him switch our account?! I had to call to cancel the service and the representative then told me that the sales person bundled my electric and gas so Id have to pay a cancellation fee twice!I told them we were still going to cancel. The next day THEY CALLED MY SPOUSE TO MAKE SURE WE REALLY WANTED TO CANCEL THE ACCOUNT. This company is 100% a scam and you cannot convince me otherwise.

      If I could give them zero stars, I would! Representative came to my house with a great sells pitch guaranteeing me a better rate and to save me money on both my gas and electric bill. Gave my husband and I some line of him being a church loving person helping people.. yea, you definitely got us. Our bill had doubled, if not tripled, Absolutely crazy! I should have done by research first and i would have saw all the negative reviews and told the person to leave. Alot of people already struggle paying bills and you just want to take more money. You should be ashamed of yourself. Allow us to cancel and waive the cancelation fee because that all I see you replying back to all the answers with.

      If I could give IGS energy any rating, it would be less than zero. A gentleman came to my door on January 16th, 2025, with the pitch that he could lower my gas bill. He told me that Ohio gets its gas from *****, and told me IGS energy gets their gas from up North here. (I'm in **********, ****), and getting the gas delivered from **** would lower my gas bill. He also sold me a line protection policy, that included gas, sewer, electrical, and water lines for anywhere in my house and out to where it connects up to the utilities that the city is responsible for. He said that would cost $19.99 a month. I thought it sounded like a good deal, and I signed electronically on his laptop. He told me I would have seven days to look everything over when they sent me a document online. Well, here it is February 27th, 2025, and I get my gas bill. It went from $59 a month to $113.95! I am an older lady on a very small pension. I cannot afford almost double my gas bill! So I called IGS energy on February 27th, 2025, told them I wanted to cancel their gas delivery, and the line protection insurance. They gave me quite a run around, and a lot of wait time on the phone. In the end, when I insisted I wanted to cancel everything, and wanted a cancellation number, that's when they told me about the cancellation fee! I had not heard about it until that very minute. The salesman never discussed a cancellation fee with me, even though IGS energy insisted that he must have because he had it in his "notes"! They wanted $199 for an early cancellation fee! They would not waive it even though I told them there was no way I could afford it. They were very light-hearted and smug when they basically told me 'No'. I called the Attorney General of Ohio, who recommended that I call PUCO. I spoke to a person at ****, and they said they would reach out to IGS energy to get them to waive that $199 early cancellation fee. I do not have high hopes of that! STAY AWAY FROM IGS energy!!!!!

      Never again would I sign up with ***. My Gas bill has doubled since IGS came on. My bill has never in five years I have lived here ever been anywhere near $411 in one month until I signed up with ***. It went up to $300 then over $400 the next month. The only thing going green is IGS taking money out of your pocket right into their pockets. They never told me of any contracts until I wanted to cancel now I have to pay $149 cancellation fee for electric and $99 cancellation fee for gas. Them it will take another two months for the policy to cancel so I have to keep paying IGS another two months on top of the cancellation fees.

      They are a scam! They tell you the price will be locked in for a year but it ends up being higher than what they tell you it will be. I was never explained to ,anything about a cancellation policy or given a contract to read . They want $99 to cancel . I cant believe they havent been stopped yet with all the bad reviews I am reading.

      DO NOT sign with IGS energy! After years of being loyal to them out rate was suddenly and without warning almost doubled to ***** cents per kwh! Our power bill doubled and we were forced to pay it. Read the fine print people!

      Claimed to be working for my utility company and claimed they were sent out to lower my bill, but that was not the case. My bill doubled. Also was told there was no early termination fee but there is. Definitely scammers

I have had it around a year and every month it has been more expensive then before i switched with this month being almost double my old rate. When i contacted them about the issue they just told me that the price hadn't changed. Then why is my bills twice as much as AEP or Columbia gas when i used them? I should have looked them up online first and i would have saw all the posts about them being a scam. I guess I will bite the bullet and pay the termination fee, it will pay for itself in a couple months since they are so much more expensive anyway.
