Igs sucks taking advantage of elderly and whoever they want.my mom's gas bill actually only 93 bucks but igs charged her 293.00. so if ya want to get rid of igs they want to charge you a huge fee for that too. So how do ya live when they charge you that. Guess that bill won't be paid. It's the same with her electric bill. To me they scammer's.

Very misleading and pushy salesman at my door. Made me believe that something was wrong with my Nipsco account and asked to see my last bill/account. Used the phrase “Nipsco hasn’t contacted you yet” in regards to something ‘being wrong’ with my Nipsco bill. Very confusing and represented himself as working for Nipsco.

Guy came to door and saw that we had ring and gave his pitch to our doorbell. He wanted to see if we “Qualify”! I decide if I qualify, not him! Glad I qualified to not answer my door! I rate his professionalism a minus 1 star!

Scam artists. Woke me up from a dead sleep requesting to see my energy bill so they could verify that I'm getting the lowest possible rates on energy & then had me sign their paperwork verifying that I was going to get this low rate locked in for the next year & it couldn't be raised & save me money.....What they DIDN'T TELL ME was they were taking information off my energy bill to sign me up for an account with them & thats what I was actually signing & those "lower" locked in rates were actually twice as much as I was currently paying. Yes my current rates could go up but they also could not go up so why would I want to lock myself into a rate that is twice as much as what I currently have.
Already canceled my account with them soon as I woke up fully & did my research.

IGS keeps harassing me about what the new supplier company I chose is charging. I know what the new company is charging- that is why I picked them. This man from IGS has called more than once going on and on about prices to the point I just blocked the number.

I've been very happy with IGS Energy over the last 2 years. The door to door sales person caught me off guard, but I had them leave the information with me so I could research it on my own. I do think they were pushy about wanting me to decide right then and I had to be firm in my 'No'. After research, I decided to switch my electric and gas to IGS Energy. Over the past two years IGS Energy rates have been close to Duke and it's from renewable sources. It's been seamless. IGS Energy bills through Duke. The renewal information is sent by email and mail. Their customer service people are knowledgeable and responsive. No long waits. Choosing and electric and gas suppliers every year makes my head hurt because it takes some work to look-up Duke's rates vs the IGS Energy offer, but it's doable once I put my focus on it.

This Company is overcharging Senior Citizens for their gas supply. Please find an alternate supplier if at all possible.

SCAM ARTISTS. Represented themselves to be working for Duke energy. Got information and switched the electric to their company. Rep made a mistake and left a card, "**** *********". Took advantage of the elderly.

An IGS Energy agent came by my parents' home today in an unmarked car, pushing a hard sell to my father to sign a contract for gas and electric utility services. The entire interaction took place on the front porch in freezing December temperatures and ended with my father signing a contract. IGS Energy purchased a utility company that previously provided service to my parents and the agent was attempting to convert their natural gas contract and to also gain their business as electric customers. Once I was aware of what had occurred I called the agent back and requested that the contract be cancelled, asking for details regarding the offer that he had sold to my father. The agent was somewhat evasive regarding the terms of the contract, promotional offer, and transparency of billing and fees. The agent then provided me with a number to call to cancel the contract. I should specify that, even though the agent stated a copy of the agreement would be emailed, nothing in the way of a paper copy of the agreement, a brochure outlining IGS Energy's policies and practices, or other transparency information was left with my father. He received only a business card from the agent. These door to door, hard sell tactics are borderline predatory, particularly with regard to senior citizens as my parents.
