On 03/29/2024 at 2:35 PM I emailed Wendy's customer care with the following. I ordered via mobile app on 03/24/2024. Drive-thru told me Frosty's were not available & the store was not "allowed" to issue refunds. First, I was told the same thing happended the day before and "they" learned they could not issue a refund. I asked why was the Frosty not removed from ordering via mobile app? temporarily "turn off" items not available. I was told no refunds for doordash orders. This was not a doordash order. Explained to 2 people, then mgr. Mgr said they don't get $ if issue refund for mobile order. I was told I hadn't pd for my order it was showing not processed. so if not processed, remove order. You haven't paid. I showed where it came out of bank acct and had rcpt from Wendy's. Told can't prepare food bc it wasn't pd & have to resolve w/ Customer Service. Told mgr not leaving drive-thru w/o order since I pd $41.95. I was very upset. FINALLY someone apologized, couldn't give refund, but prepared our food, missing Frosty. So, left w/ food except Frosty. No sour cream or butter for sour cream & chive potato too hard to eat. Food was cold and not edible. Asked how they plan to rectify when I never want to return to Wendy's and I requested a refund on the spot. ref:**************************ref On 04/03/2024 I was issued a $5 credit in the mobile app valid for 30 days. On 04/03/2024 I responded this was not satisfactory. I did not approve this and requested a refund for what I had pd. This is not a satisfactory way to treat to customers. Also, I do not believe this follows VA state regulations. No additional response has been rcv'd. Credit Union will not stop payment since we rcv'd food and transaction was already processed.Initial Complaint

On 4/19 at about 2:30 i arrived at Wendy’s located in Irondequoit, NY on east ridge road and upon getting my food i didn’t receive a chili and my burgers were not in the bag as well i called in and spoke with a manager and explained and she then told me to come in with a receipt and if she wasn’t there another manager named ******* would be i arrived again today around 11pm and was treated as if i was lying or trying to get over the manager on duty was indeed ******* and he was very rude and proceeded to tell me to wait until tomorrow and tried to hand me the receipt back i explained to him that I’m not going to wait to get food that I paid for and never receive, he didn’t snatch the receipt out of my hand had to order remade. This is not the first time that I have experienced a bad experience with the same supervisor.Initial Complaint

For at least 6 months I’ve been trying to get Wendy’s to stop sending me emails!!! I have “unsubscribed” at least 20 times, been told again and again that they will remove me from their email list, been told many times that I am not on their email list, but still receive emails at least every other day. Please make it stop!!! Right now, I don’t ever want to eat at a Wendy’s! Please make it stop!!!!!!!!Initial Complaint

Wendys at 2900 W Norvell Bryant Hwy, Lecanto, FL 34461 is a terrible store with a horrible manager. It is close to my home and every time I go there they are out of things like biscuits, frostys etc and they keep saying they can not take the mobile app as their scanner does not work. The manager is terrible when you complain to her she just says there is nothing I can do! Today I went there to use the breakfast sandwhich card which they gave me (would only give us one even though there were a couple of us ordering breakfast) (My mom and sister both got cards at their Wendy's) I requested a free sandwhich since I have the card and was told they are only going to honor it on the first day of the week so I could not get it!!!!!!!!!!!!! The CARD STATES YOU CAN GET IT ANY DAY OF THE WEEK! THEY GAVE ME THE CARD AND TOLD ME I COULD COME BACK ANY DAY OF THE WEEK TO USE IT FOR A YEAR! I am so upset at them that I want to take them to small claims court over this! If they did not want to participate than fine but to give something out and not honor it is so wrong. My mom and I placed an order online through the Wendy’s app- in El Paso TX on 7731 Paseo Norte. We pulled over and ate then we decided to place a second order on the app when we pulled up to the window the second time the employee refused to serve us. He asked us “how many more times we were planning on ordering” when I didn’t answer he then said “I’m just asking because we are very busy”. I shook my head and told him to disregard the order (I started to record the conversation at this moment) then he said “I’m sorry I should have said it a different way”. I then told “I just want my order and my small fry”. After we finished eating I pulled over to the front of the restaurant to throw away our trash and we saw 3 employees leaning against the wall with their hands in their pockets. The employee at the drive thru refused to serve me for placing two orders because he was so busy then we came across the employees w their hands in their pockets. I do have an audio recording that I started after he wouldn’t give me my order that I placed and payed for on the app. I cannot upload it here. I redeemed 300 points for a 6 piece nugget. It shows the points redeemed however it never appeared in my account and I never got to use it to get the nuggets. Multiple phone call attempts and chat attempts I finally filled out a complaint on the website and I received a email said it should show in my account but it 100% does not and I replied to them twice staying with no response.Initial Complaint

Since 2021, I’ve been getting email correspondence from [email protected]. I unsubscribed since the first email in September 2021. Since then, about once a month, I keep receiving the same email indicating my account has been locked due to unsuccessful login attempts. I don’t even have a Wendy’s account. I reached out to customer service and requested assistance September 2023. I received a generic response from ** about resetting my password which clearly means my email wasn’t actually read. Then no response. I sent another email in January 2024 and received a generic response from ******* regarding unsubscribing. Neither customer care advocate actually read my email regarding me not having a Wendy’s account. They also stopped responding after sending the generic response. This is harassment.Initial Complaint

Finished my overnight shift little after 7am. Put in a breakfast order for 2 sausage, egg & cheese biscuits on the wendys app. Went to Wendy's minutes later but they still weren't open. Went to the same Wendys hours later and got a burger. Pointed out I put in a breakfast order earlier that I didn't receive but no response on that. They were busy so they may not have heard me. I was told on a previous order that I didn't receive that I would have to get a refund through the app. Whether calling or messaging its very time consuming. Around an hour waiting for someone on the other end. I've already contacted them twice about this order. Was told the store and the dm would be contacted and that they would contact me by email but I haven't received any response. On March 30th 2024 I ordered from the Wendy's mobile app. I was charged twice, $72.16. I have been unable to contact Wendy's through telephone, online or through email, despite having a ticket opened automatically via email. They just don't respond! They stole $72.16 from me, I have proof, its obvious that its their error...yet I cannot get this resolved! I am dumbfounded and don't know what to do.
