      I filed a complaint on 2/13/23 for a visit on 2/11/23 at Wendy’s. I gave a coupon for a free JB Cheeseburger, the burger was made wrong, the 2.69 + tax was not given, another JBC was missing ingredients, no ice, no napkins and very sticky floor. I have called Customer Care to follow up 3 times with my confirmation #. Still no reply/answer. 888/624-8140. I called Wendy’s Corp. 614/764-3100 I left 3 msgs. for ***** ******* (supervisor) starting 2/16/23, left 1 msg. 2/21/23 ****** ****** no reply. Just now 2/22/23 **** ****. I’ll see this time. Next will be a letter to the corporate office. The Wendy’s it self was not good at all, but the 2 different Customer Service areas should be LESS than 1 star.

      Location: 2120 S. Edwin C Moses Blvd (Dayton, OH) Ordered cooked to order French toast sticks thru the drive thru. Received sticks that were full of grease indicating they had been dropped back in the grease not cooked fresh. The bag was full of grease. When asked for a refund I was told a refund couldn’t be given “because I didn’t like how it tasted” …. Asked for manager, was told person was the manager. This occurred on February 17, 2023, at 9:39. This location and staff is horrendous and should be closed! I tried to get the owner/general manager but have been unsuccessful!*

      With all these reviews I am reading, I have to say something as well about Wendy's. I went through drive through window to order fries, small fries, was charged $21.03 for this, went to inquire about this and still have not heard back from the Manager after employee working there told me Manager would call me back and reimburse me. They are very fast in promoting Wendy's on TV and have us go there to buy, and this is the way us customers are treated. If it wasn't for us buying, Wendy's wouldn't have business. The manager wouldn't have a job and/or a title, the employee would not have a job. I can't believe the Owner, the CEO accepts all this.

      Aside from constantly getting the order wrong, frequently not getting the receipt even though I've asked, and the app either not icing me my points, or they pretend scan it, I've had two especially bad experiences. One of which I ordered a meal on the app to the wrong location. Contacted them, was unable to get the meal at the location I was. I was told they would give me a refund, the manager left a voicemail indicating that. I went to the location, they said they couldn't give the refund because my name wasn't in a book. I played them the voicemail I had recieved, they said even though it was their manager, I would need to come back when the manager was there. Never got that refund, just paid 15 dollars for a meal that I never got. I tried calling, no return calls. I called the corporate number and waited for over an hour. This is all screenrecorded and verifiable. They apologized, I believe they must have taken a lunch break and been working alone, because "1 caller ahead of you" normally doesn't take an hour. They were going to look into it and reach out to me. Didn't hear back. Ordered a meal a few weeks ago, I did get the receipt, as well as the wrong sandwich. I went back two days later with the receipt and pictures of the meal, they said I would have had to come back right away. I put in a complaint but never recieved a call back. I like their food, but the app and the customer service will keep me from going back. I just ordered $15 dollars worth of food, asked for the receipt. She opened the window with debit machine in hand, I told her I'd like to collect the points, she scans my phone, says it's good, and charges me. In the parking lot now, no receipt, no point, no more time for this restaurant, it's always a huge hassle and multiple trips to get what I pay for, if I ever do...

      Just a buyer beware about Wendy's gift cards. They don't always honor them.
      I buy them at Kroger when they have the quadruple points events, I load them on the app and order that way. I have bought and used many Wendy's cards over the years. I bought one at the beginning of January, 2023 but when I tried to load it, it didn't work and the balance check couldn't find the card.
      I contacted gift card support and they referred me to customer service. I called customer service and they looked up the card and saw the correct $20 balance. I again tried to load it through the app, through the website and balance check--everything still saying card not found.
      I called a second time, again was told they showed the $20 balance and suggested I try to use it in a Wendy's location. Nope, it was rejected and I ended up paying cash for my order.
      I emailed customer care and provided the running litany of the situation and was told to take it up with the store I bought it from, that they do not refund or replace non-functioning gift cards. Since my receipt shows that the card was successfully activated, the store has no way to verify that the card is defective. I sent a third email (second one to gift card support) and this is their response--sales are final.
      So if you buy one of their cards and it doesn't work, there's nothing they will do about it.
      I will also be sending a letter to Kroger Corporate to request that they terminate their relationship with Wendy's as a third party vendor for these gift cards in light of the shady business practices. If this has happened to me, how many other people have had their money essentially stolen by Wendy's due to their practice of not honoring gift cards.

      Waited 30 minutes for our food. We refused to sit because every table was filthy. Another customer even asked for a rag to clean them. While waiting we witness food cross contamination, employees, including the manager touching their hair, clothes, hat then immediately touching food with the same gloves on. I approached the counter before I received my food and asked for a refund. The manager could not refund my money as he didn't know how. He said to comeback at 3pm and the next manager would. I took our drinks and bag of food with me. Once home, it's not even our food!! Went back with the food/drink at 3pm and that manager could not refund me either. No food and out over $27.00 for absolutely nothing!
      I normally show grace to people and situations however, not this time. This Wendy's is going to make someone sick. Horrible customer service. YUCK!!
      I have filed complaints with MN Department of Health and Wendy's Corp too.

      Does not care about the customer. Called 3 times to customer service and sent email to CEO about a complaint no one ever returned a call or reached out to me. They just Egnor your complaint waiting for you to go away. Well I’ve never been back and we will never be back unless they reach out to make things right.

      I will never go back to ************** Wendys. I have previously worked there I know their policies and what is right and what is wrong. Me as the customer was being yelled at because I was wrong after I went up there three times to the counter saying my order is wrong and one of the b****** that work there needed her attitude changed by her coworker towards us. This was complete ********. All we wanted was a nice meal for our family for once. We didnt even get a receipt after spending over $50. Thats just f****** ridiculous.

      If not stars was an option I would have selected it. This restaurant does not practice proper sanitation and they touch customers foods with unwashed hands. DHEC needs to do an inspection. The manager was aware the worker did it however did not care because she was running late for her appointment.

      I submitted an order online and went to pick it up. I was told that I was at the wrong location after confirming the pickup address. I mapped the address and guess what, same location. I return and the supervisor was surprised and then checked online orders and claimed it just came in. After waiting, the 10-piece spicy chickens was COLD! I thought the food at this location, ****************************************************,, had improved, but clearly I was wrong!
