Did a custom design at the Waldorf, MD location. This has been the biggest nightmare ever. I love getting new jewelry. Who knew my first experience at Jared would be so awful. No one knows what they are doing. I purchased a ring, not only do they have over $3000.00 and the ring is paid off. They have my ring as well. Getting a lawyer. Everything was done over the phone. Talked to the manager - ****** who likes to hear herself talk. She said she can’t do anything and needs to wait on customer care. The story is much deeper. They ordered a random size for the ring since I was never sized. ******** advised me I would need to pay to get the ring sized. Jared owes me money and I refuse to take the ring until I get reimbursed for taking off diamonds and girth from the ring. Was advised I would be getting money back. That has not happened and this ****** states it has to come from Customer Care in Ohio. Called customer care and was told I would hear back within 24-48 hours. Well that hasn’t happened. Save your money and go anywhere but Jared in Waldorf, MD. It’s the worst. It’s so bad that in 3 months I have had a total of 4 different people involved in my ring because the people keep quitting. Sorry, you didn't read the review. I do not have an issue with the custom design. You have my ring and my money. I keep being told I am waiting on customer care. Not too concerned. My lawyer called yesterday and is sending documents via certified mail. The review states it all and to reply with the above comment shows how disrespectful this business is. Not only can the people not read, they do not listen. What a shame. You have a customer's money and ring... The answer is just wait you will hear from customer care. It's been over a week now. The only thing I am taking away from this: is that this business has a ton of customer complaints if I have to wait over a week plus, just to get a callback.Review fromLeigh Ann H

1 starCUSTOMER BEWARE!!We WERE customers here for over 15 years. My husband spent alot of money..Took all my jewelry in like clockwork.At December 2022 inspection they declined to honor my warranty for a ring they had to put a diamond in several times. I guess that says alot right there. But they said they would buy it back at half the price we originally paid as long as I bought another piece of jewelry double the price of that. I declined.Long story short.They didn't document the visit for some of my other jewelry and went I went back this month for my inspection they refused my other ring that had lost a diamond.Their warranty documenting seemed to change over the years and after covid it really became sketchy. I never had any problems. Till now when they saw a way out of honoring the warranty they were tired of fixing.Very upsetting!Review fromKimberly K

This company should be put out of business. I have been a member for probably ten years because I could not shut down the account. Paying twenty dollars a month for absolutely nothing. When I finally got smart enough to cancel the credit card they sent me to collections. Do not fall for this scam.Signet Jewelers

The Kay’s refuses to honor their lifetime watch battery warranties. They say they can’t find that particular watch in their system. The manager said they don’t work on Coach Watches. We have a copy of the warranty and will return to the store to see if they will replace the battery. The manager told me the warranty shows a metal band and the Coach has a leather band. First they replaced this battery a few months back and now the watch will not keep time. Second,
the watch she was referring to is a Fossil brand, which again we have a lifetime warranty. Both warranties clearly state the brand and description of the watch. I am disgusted with their lack of customer service. They use any tactic to get out of honoring their warranties! This needs to be stopped and it is fraud. We sent entrusted my ring with Kay to have another band added to it for Mothers Day. Two weeks go by and the store manager calls to let us know the ring was stolen off a UPS truck. I’m heartbroken about it, but that’s not why a one star is given. My husband initially got the call. I visited the store today and asked for a copy of the paperwork showing the ring was actually sent and that the theft was reported to police. Store staff said all the paperwork is with the manager at home and they have no documents from ups, just a note in the computer that it was picked up. Frustrating is an understatement. If you can find a local jeweler who doesn’t have to ship your jewelry, do it.Signet Jewelers

I have been subscribed to Rocksbox for about 5 years. I have had no trouble taking a pause in service which I have done several times throughout the years. It is all easily navigable on the website. I have found the service reliable and consistent with ample text and email reminders about using credit before losing it, updating preferences, reviewing pieces for better matches etc.,Im a hairdresser and buying trending earrings to jazz up my all-black outfit gets expensive. This service is perfect for me because unlike stitch fix or other services you actually get to use the merchandise. Its a little like a lending library. You pay a monthly fee and most of that( maybe all) subscription fee is redeemable as a monthly credit if you choose to buy one or more of the pieces. You can also buy all pieces (you get 3 at a time) for a larger discount + your monthly credit. I have referred a number of people to the service simply because when I get compliments I mention the service. I may have gotten a credit for such referrals but Im not sure. I understand the frustration of those who have found that their child has entered into an agreement but I dont see how its possible that they are unable to stop service. I have found the customer service to be prompt and generous. Not charging for stones coming loose etc..Signet Jewelers

1 starIf I could leave 0 stars I would! Let me start by saying I will never shop at Zales again! You have totally ruined an experience that only comes once in a lifetime! The issues started when purchasing my wedding band at the Zales in Orange Park. Where I was asked to ship my engagement ring with the wedding band so that it could be properly sized. I waited 2 weeks to get it back just to learn that my engagement, which was sized perfectly, had been resized to a size so big it wouldn't fit my finger any longer. With that happening, I sought out a different Zales (Avenues Mall) who helped my with getting my engagement ring resized, sottered, and explain both warranties to me, which I had no idea that if I didn't bring my ring in for inspection every 6 months for life, that any repairs would not be covered under warranty, I would have to pay for them myself. Next incident with Zales, I have been making my monthly payments on my rings and used the online payment feature for the 1st time, for the minimum amount, and the entire balance was processed ($1374.18). This wiped out my entire paycheck, which I'm still waiting on my refund. initially was told 24-48 hours, then told 21 days finally 7-10 days. This happened on 5/23/23. I am overly disgusted at the lack of customer service that has been provided by Zales all the way around. I have had 4 returns in my account, one being my electric bill, and I still have my mortgage payment to make and can't!!! I have been back and forth to my bank for over a week now trying to resolve issues surrounding the error that was made by Zales!!! I deserve to be compensated and I feel my account should be paid in full for the total lack of trust and confidence I have in this company!!! I included you all in a very intimate part of my life and I have had nothing but constant heartache surrounding any dealings with Zales!!! PLEASE RESOLVE THIS ISSUE IMMEDIATELY!!! In October of 2021, I purchased an engagement ring from the Jared. The sales associate if I was interested in signing up for a Jared credit, she said it would really help if I did. At no point did she explain that I was signing up for a promotional plan.In the fall of 2022, I informed Jared that my billing address had changed and yet my statements continued to be sent to my old address. A couple months later, after I was charged a late fee for missing a payment I had not been notified of, I again sent a request to Jared to update my billing address, and, again, my request was ignored. Same thing the following month:I missed another payment and contacted Jared for a third time about updating my address, and yet I have not received a single statement from Jared this year. (Not to mention, not once during those phone calls did anyone mention that I was part of a promotional plan that was ending soon). In spite of all that, I continued to make monthly payments.In April, I was excited to see that I was now less than $1000 away from paying off my now wife's ring. I logged into my account this week saw that I now owed nearly three times that. Assuming it was an error, I immediately called customer support and, for the first time, was made aware of the promotional plan, which had expired a couple weeks ago.When I explained that I had not received a statement since 2022, I was more or less called a liar. When I tried explaining my mental health, I was more or less told that everyone struggles.I've experienced poor customer service before, but the individuals I spoke with a customer representative and supervisor were disrespectful and cold. I disputed the finance charge of $1740.59 as advised by customer service and paid off the balance of the ring. I contacted Jared store and corporate office of assistance but with no help. I am still trying to get this resolved, but with no responses.Signet Jewelers

1 starTheir customer service is horrible! I waited over 15 minutes before anyone acknowledge me. I went to Jared to purchase a Mother Day gift for my daughter, as this being a special day...she is a mother for the first time. I picked out a custom piece of jewel, and was told it would be ready in time. I went in on a weekend and was told by the sale associate that she would have to call the order in on Monday and would call me to confirm. No one called me and I ended up calling Jared two days later. I was told that the person who assisted is off and to call back another day. Come to find out that the order was placed incorrectly and had to be redone. I subsequently cancelled the order the same day I was informed, and Jared never voided the transaction, and now credit card was charged. I've called Jared three times to have this corrected and reverse the charges. The district manager informed me that the associate if off and that he does not have her password and for me to call back. If you are looking for professional service, don't go to Jared on Arden Way. The service and management is horrible. I don't believe that they understand the concept of customer service. I'm still trying to get my money back for an item that I don't have.
