Zero stars My husband purchased a tennis bracelet on 11/10/22z Two diamonds fell out. I was never informed of. Zales policy to bring the bracelet in every 6 months for maintenance and because I did not do that my bracelet is not covered under their warranty protection plan. My husband paid $246.98. I called. Ales two weeks later to find out the status of my bracket only to find out the repair is $410.00. What terrible customer service. I hope in the future that Zales will emphasize the importance to the buyers to let the recipient know about the policy ahead of time so they are not left with being charged astronomical prices. 1 starI purchased my mother-in-law a ring at Zales (online) in 2021 she has worn it approximately two times and a diamond has fallen out of it. Now we tried to go and have it repaired using the Diamond Guarantee and the clerk tell us they are unable to find it in the system where she has had the Diamond bonded. I know she has taken it in because she is so careful and she really doesn't like to wear it because it is expensive. That is insane! I have purchased other rings from Zales and know for a fact, when you take your ring in for an inspection and they will not give you receipt saying that it is in the system, well clearly it is not and now we are expected to pay over half of the cost of the ring it get it repaired. There have been system upgrades where they have lost all accounting of my jewelry luckily I always keep the original purchase receipt otherwise they would say I never purchased the item. If Zales know they are selling products that are not manufactured well then the prices should be lowered and the protection plans should be free. I am so upset with Zales as I have been a long time customer and cannot believe they would treat customer this way.Review fromDeborah M

NEVER deal with Kay Jewelers or *****. I've had my wedding ring for 23 years. I took it to ***** for prong repair & small diamond on the side had broken. Explained in detail I did NOT want the head replaced. It held a Tanzanite my husband bought in ********. They kept the ring a month. After several calls I was contacted that it had been returned from ***** to the *** store. The head had been replaced without our consent or knowledge. I am so upset. They truly didn't care. They refused to tell me where the ring had gone for repair. We were lied to several times, treated rudely. I paid for the repair and do NOT want my money back. I want the ring head back. If they were incapable of doing the repair, I should have been told. The prongs have been repaired twice over the years as they are 18k. Never in the past was there an issue doing it. This is my first and last dealing with ***. Also, I am not sure this is even my setting at all!! I was never shown before & after pictures as they are required to do. Nothing I can do now. They dont even deserve an outline of a star. I have been doing business with Kay jewelers for 32 years. Have had 3 Diamond upgrades and a custom done on my ring. I have spent almost $20,000 and always have been happy. This last time I wanted to add diamonds to my ring which were my mothers earrings. I paid a hefty amount to do this and was supposed to get a mold of what it looked like and never did. It took almost 4 months to complete. My first impression of the ring was so bad I cried. I told them I didnt like it and they basically told me too bad. It looked like a 3 year old did it. I asked where the mold was and they told me I tried it on and accepted what it looked like. I told them I never saw such a mold and they basically called me a liar. I took the ring home and contacted customer service in which they told me they will not refund nor redo the ring. The diamonds are literally on the sides of the ring and puncture my other fingers. I cant even wear it if I wanted too. I am so disgusted in every aspect of this situation. I am in the process of taking them to small claims court and have so much documentation and the ring itself which is a joke. I wish I could add a picture of it to this review. Horrible service, fake advertising. Tried to make me pay over $200 for a single helix piercing. Girl was saying she charged more bc her certification. SCAM. Went to Claires across street.Signet Jewelers

1 starThe worse jewelry store!!!! Tanger outlet in ******** /Hilton Head!!!! Diamonds keep falling out of my friends ring for years. Zales at Bluffton, NC Store keeps GLUING the diamonds back in, not fixing the prongs. Them gluing the stones, raising the stones up and down. Glue shows. This has been going on for years! 1 starI spent 5K on a gold necklace for my husband. I bought the warranty. My husband needed a repair on the necklace; the latch on the necklace broke. We took the necklace to the location the necklace was purchased at. When the necklace was repaired and ready to be picked up, they tried giving us a necklace that did not look like the necklace we purchased. The necklace was stripped and looks fake. They told use we could get a replacement but would have to pay for another warranty because the original warranty came with 1X replacement. My issue is, why do I have to pay for another warranty when this does not look like the same gold necklace that I dropped off? The store stripped my necklace not me. ********************* the ********** location on ********* Road staff is very rude. My wife called to check on the status of her ring we have had nothing but problems with this business, they destroyed one of her wedding bands so my wife is rightfully concerned anytime we have to have anything serviced. So when she calls they do not answer the phone when her number shows up she called twelve times with no answer so I called they answered on the second ring as soon as I gave them my account info they instantly started being rude and giving short unhelpful answers. I then gave the phone to my wife they told her she was being rude and hung up on her when her tone never changed and she was being polite. We then called back to speak to the manager who spazzes out saying "I've only been here three months" and not taking any responsibility for her employees terrible attitude.Signet Jewelers

My husband bought me a garnet **** for Christmas, 6 months ago and the prongs broke and the stone fell out already. C*** jewelry! We didnt buy the insurance because it was $100 on a $400 ****. We took it in the get it repaired and were told it would cost approx $340 to fix. Seriously?!?!!! Even though I loved the **** Im shocked the quality is terrible. No offer to assist us or rectify the situation when we complained. I didnt wear it rock climbing or anywhere rough that could cause it to break. Truly disappointed!!!Signet Jewelers

Beware: ************ is a Scam!(BANTER- Part of the Zales Company)Ive been dealing with this company for about 5 months now. It all started when I received an unsolicited email about a 50% off sale. I saw a ring I liked, so I went to their website to make a purchase. At checkout, I got a popup that said "Apply Now and Buy Now," so I did. I was approved, but it turned out you cannot apply and buy immediately (like the website stated)you have to wait 14 business days to receive the card before making a purchase. I missed that sale and decided to wait for the next one.The next sale came a month later with 40% off sitewide, but the prices on the site didnt reflect the discount. It turns out they needed IT to fix the prices, which would take 4 business daysanother sale missed. In the third month, they had a 30% off sale, but once again, the prices didnt reflect the discount. It turns out "SITEWIDE" only applied to certain sizes, which they didnt mentionyet another sale missed.Finally, I got another chance to purchase, but the website had issues and charged my card twice. Then, they canceled the order because it wouldnt let me change my billing address. When I called the Banter ************* they said it would take a month for the pending charges to fall off. A MONTH!!! This company is a scam! Dont bother dealing with them.Signet Jewelers
