      First, I went to local Big Sandy, TWICE. Could not get customer service either time. The staff was sitting on the furniture, as if they were at their own homes, feet in the seats(pictures to prove it). So we drove an hour away. Inventory was slim, so we decided to purchase a floor model mattress. Of course the sales rep went on and on about the warranty. We have had this mattress for less than 4 months, it has a dip in it. We were told if dip was an inch, they would replace it. End of story, right? Nope. They came, measured it, said it has an inch and a quarter dip, and they will get back with us. We learn today that they voided our warranty.... why? Well, they say due to stains and no mid support. One, we bought the mattress protector and it's been on it the whole time and again.... it was the floor model! It isn't snow white, but there are not any "stains". Two, mid support? Well, it would have been nice to know that a warranty had some stipulations! I didn't think about how the bed frame was. It came from Big Sandy, of course.I will never spend a dime at another Big Sandy again. Don't recommend that you do either!

      Watch out if you place an order that offers free shipping it might not be free! I purchased a water filter with free shipping. I was called a couple hours later and told there was a mistake on their website and they can not honor free shipping unless I buy 2 filters. They are happy to process my order if I will pay shipping. If you are going to require me to order 2 filters for free shipping it should say that. If there was a mistake with coding on your website you should not penalize your customer. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere, not worth it.

      Customer service is horrible been trying to get a replacement refrigerator since March every month they told me it would be in the next month so it supposedly finally came in was supposed to be delivered Last Saturday the 17th so I took the day off work only for them to call me mid morning to tell me they wouldn't be delivering it because when loading the truck the night before they realized it was damaged so instead of notifying me then they waited until the next day when they were supposed to deliver it several hours after that cost me a days pay so I set up delivery for this Saturday and asked if they could come first so I could go to work they said they would try only to get a call today telling me it wouldn't be here until the afternoon again and told me a computer sets this up but yet computer even told me in a reply that even if they switched route I would not be first and when I called store they said they would get back with me well chirp chirp

      Wonderful store to shop and sales are very knowable of the products they sale. But Customer Service lacks communication with product manufacturers. I purchased a sectional for the living room, and it was delivered without one of the five seat cushions. Customer service placed an order with the manufacturer that same day and said I should hear back that afternoon or the next day. Three days later I called Customer Service, and they hadn't heard anything yet. Fourth day I go to the store and Customer Service says same thing. I ask them to contact the manufacturer and they send an email. A good Customer Service rep would have phoned and spoke directly with them. I asked if I could take a cushion from their show floor, and they refused. Poor customer service kills my desire to shop here anymore.

      Horrible customer service. Store tried to blame me for their own error and lack of internal communication. Ordered and paid for, in full, a full bedroom set. Received an email stating when the deliver would be made. No one bothered to contact me that the delivery wasn't going to happen or that, even though they ran my card at the time of purchase, that there was some sort of error and the invoice wasn't paid. They had the audacity to try to blame me; berate me for being upset that they didn't communicate with me; tried to blame the sales rep but yet said they don't look at invoices everyday (why would they look at an invoice they thought was paid!); and refused to acknowledge any short comings in their own process and internal communication that could have prevented the entire issue. Because they refused to work with me to get me any viable solution so that I could quickly get my order they have lost my business.

      Got a ** refrigerator in February 2019 as of today 9-2 -2022 third compressor is going bad, ice maker has been replaced condenser coils and waiting now for a condenser fan and blades are on order.. I've been all waking with no refrigerator and who knows how much longer it will be. ** is junk.

      Grate service technician service..bought an LG refrigerator and a GE washer and the service technician truck was at my house so much working on them the neighbors through I went to work for Big Sandy..

      I usually don't write reviews, but I felt it was deserved. Most people write only negative reviews. I have bought multiple items from Big Sandy. I had an issue with an appliance and a furniture purchase. In both situations, Big Sandy took care of the problem and I have been very happy with their customer service. I will continue to buy from them in the future

      In April of 2022 I ordered some living room furniture that was a special order. On June 28th, they came to deliver my furniture. The side table was not correct so they took it back. The TV stand was put together but the entertainment center that goes on top on the stand didnt have any hardware with it. The guy that delivered it called it in and notified big sandy in pikeville that he could put it together ,due to not having the hardware. The delivery guy told me that the parts should be in by next week. Since then the entertainment center has been laying on one of my beds and Ive already paid one payment. Before the delivery guys left I noticed that the glass on the entertainment center was broken and he took a picture and put in a work order. On 7/2 they came and delivered my table but this guy didnt have the hardware and was not aware that anything else was needed. When I called service they told me the hardware was on back order so I was patient and called back in a week and they said it was delivered today someone will contact you and sit up a time to come out. On August 9th the service guy came out and exchanged the glass but didnt have the hardware he needed and put in a work order . I waited and called back onAugust *************************************************************************************************************** a call back on Monday. Over the last few months I have spoken to service, customer service, my sales person *****, his manager and recently sent to another service department . After speaking with the service department not located in pikeville it appears the part hasnt even been ordered and they needed more information from the Technician. If I had to do it over I would of shopped local. Also the cocktail table I had ordered was already chipped and the top has to be replaced. Im definitely not a happy customer and dont recommend big ********************** in ********* , **.

      spent ***** dollars(extended warranty) for new appliances and furniture. Refrigerator quit working in July, big sandy told me i was eligible for a food replacement vouch. I had ** repair try and repair but they were unable to so a partial refund is being refunded.Big Sandy now says that because ** did the warranty work they are not going to help me on the food loss voucher!WHAT KIND OF ******** IS THAT??? 30CUFT refrigerator i lost 5 full bags of food!NEVER AGAIN.. WHAT A WASTE OF MY MONEY

      They incorrectly wired in my new stove without grounding it, causing all of the appliances to shock us whenever we touched them. This could of caused a fire or serious injury.I would never shop here again or buy anything from them
