      Terrible customer service. Cincinnati location! Absolutely terrible customer service. I purchased two mattresses and two expensive pillows from Big Sandy Superstore. The mattresses were on sale and after they completed my transaction, I realized I was charged full price. I had to wait for the sales person to come up to the counter to tell them I was supposed to get the sale price. Very time consuming. Upon delivery of two mattresses- honestly, I think the delivery guys were wasted. One of them was trying to bring a queen mattress up my stairs (which have a turn half way up) all by himself. He was hitting the wall and kept dropping it. My daughter and I were watching in shock. I checked and didn't appear to have any damage so I blew it off. The pillows were brought in and the cardboard packaging was all beat up. No worries- the pillow was in plastic. Very quickly I realized by $150 pillow was huge. Not what I selected in the store. Tried to return it and they said the box was damaged and I cannot return the pillow. I told them it was delivered in that box that way and was still in the plastic so I had not used it. It was also the day after delivery. They will take a mattress back that has been used for the past 90 days but won't take the pillow in the plastic covering and the box they delivered to me. Upon further investigation- that pillow was for a man over 6 feet tall and weighing more than 250 pounds. I called the store and told them that, if anything, they sold me the wrong size of pillow and they should at least exchange it for the extra small pillow that would be for my size. She told me they will not return a pillow and was waiting for approval from the higher ups and would call me back. Never called. I will not step foot back in that store.

      We purchase a mattress at the Dayton big sandy auperstore and did not love it at first so we did a reselection process. The new mattress has been delivered and it is way too firm for us. A big sandy employee told my husband that they ultimately want us to be comfortable but they would not swap out the mattress another time to the primal one we selected. We have paid extra for the delivery and such which we were fine doing and were prepared to pay delivery once again for the mattress we originally got. Their company policies are not focused on customer care and comfort and I will no longer shop here and you shouldn’t either. Now I’ve got a n uncomfortable bed that I can’t sleep in and a large bill for it.

      I've literally had the WORST experience with Big Sandy Superstore (7800 Montgomery Rd Unit 210, Cincinnati) ???? I've had my BROKEN bed frame for a week now and everybody my mom and I have called about it has given us the go around without a single solution for fixing/replacing my bed !!! From the delivery drivers who scratched my floor and didn't say a word to me about it, to the manger Travis and head of operations Kari who have done nothing but give empty promises of fixing my $3,000 bed frame !!! It's very clearly broken. The bed frame sits on the floor probably causing even more damage. I don't even know how it's still standing considering 4 screws have already fallen out of it. ?? The driver told us he would install the bed so we had somewhere to sleep still as we had just moved into the house and then they would have someone come out to look at it and none of that has happened. NEVER BUY FROM THIS LOCATION THEY ARE TRASH IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ANYTHING, THEY'RE ONLY GOOD FOR TAKING YOUR MONEY AND SENDING YOU ON YOUR WAY !!

      Their ad says the owner wants them to treat everyone like they want to be treated. Well, they gave us the wrong recliner we ordered. (they put it in the truck from the warehouse) When we called and told them they wanted us to bring it back to get ours. Is that how they want us to treat them? I called corporate and it got delivered and they took the wrong one back. I will never go there again. Any time there is a problem they tell you it is not company policy. I think they need to fix their company policies.

      We purchased 3 appliances and 3 pieces of furniture (at the same time). The glass top stove we purchased cracked within a couple months of use (tech determined it was NOT due to damage/negligence on our end). Then there's the love seat saga. They delivered it damaged - the frame is bent so one side cannot open/recline and close properly. They came out early November and advised they had to order a new part, which would arrive in January. I followed up in January and was told the part wasn't even due to ship from overseas until late January, and was given a date of March 15th. March 15th came and went, with still no updates from their customer service. I reached out and they did not have an arrival date for my part, nor do they have a resolution. They advised they would reach out to their services department for an alternate solution and would "be in touch." They again did not reach out with an update. It is now 4/11 and there is no end in sight to fixing the love seat - no response from customer service, no update on the part, no update on an alternate resolution. We're approaching 6 months of waiting for this to be fixed, when it never should have been delivered damaged in the first place. Highly unlikely we'll purchase from here again.

      I just had the most wonderful experience with Scott the online sales. We were in the market for furniture that we could wipe down. I was thoroughly impressed that he gave options of the layout that I was looking for. He let us have the weekend to think about what it was that we wanted to do and that gave myself and my husband time to go to the store and physically see what we liked. I was able to connect with him today, Monday, and he walked me through everything. This is by far the best experience that I have had in furniture purchasing. If I could give 10 stars it would be due. He was not pushy at all and explained everything very well.

      Dont buy appliances at Big Sandys. We bought a dryer and an expensive warranty. Dryer broke. It took 2 1/2 weeks to get service. Had to order a part. The part took 2 1/2 weeks to come in. Now it is taking over 2 weeks to complete the job.

      Bought a dresser from here and went and picked it up. Upon unboxing it the whole side was off of it and the dresser drawers was falling out due to it. Spoke to multiple people and none of them was of any help. They would not replace, refund or anything until their corporate office made the approval of taking their damaged item back. They also would not let me drop it off at the store I bought it from (route 60 in ashland) they told me that I had to take it inside and store it until the next day to keep it out of the weather (rainy day this day) upon telling them I have no place to store it and absolutely no reason should I be forced to take a falling apart dresser inside my home, they proceeded to tell me if I did not then I would be responsible for any weather damage done to the product. (Again I offered to waste more of my fuel to deliver it back to where I got it from but they would not even take the item they sold me back. After a long battle of fighting with the store I decided to call cooperate office & they was able to escalate the issue and got me my refund the same day. However upon this experience I was reminded why I have not been back to big sandy in a little over 5 years. After this experience I am completely done and will go else where even if it means driving to Columbus or Lexington to purchase from other businesses.

      I purchased a dishwasher from BS in June 2022 with an extended warranty which is still in effect. It stopped working in January 2024 and threw a code. I researched the code and called for a repair. BS couldn’t schedule a tech for 2 weeks. I unplugged the dishwasher because it wouldn’t stop trying to run a pump and beeping if it had power. I didn’t want it to do further damage to itself or overheat and cause a fire. When the tech finally arrived he did no diagnostics. He plugged the machine back in and said it was fine. He said the machine had reset by being unplugged for two weeks. Of course when I tried to run it, it threw the same code again and BS said wait another two weeks for a second tech. The second one did diagnostics and said a part was needed. The part has come in after about 10 days and now BS can’t get someone out for another 2 weeks. I am so disappointed with Big Sandy’s customer service after the sale. It’s been more than a month without my dishwasher working. I promise my next appliance purchase will come from anywhere other than Big Sandy. They can say goodbye to me as a long time customer. I won’t ever buy anything from them again.
