      I placed an order for curbside pickup on 12/14 around 10:30a at my local joann's in **************. The app & website says if order before 3pm order can be ready the same day. Misleading & FALSE ADVERTISING! 12/15 I called the store & was informed it can take up to 1-3 ******** don't see that anywhere on their site. The lady stated she could pull my items and have it ready on 12/16...still nothing. If I would of known it would take this long I would of went to the store & shopped for the items myself. After taking this long I bet my sale items will be sold out. So frustrating & annoying!

      I ordered 3 ***** of yarn after receiving email that 2 were "now back in stock". The website said they had 44 of one color and 342 of another. Within minutes of submitting my order, I got an email stating that both were no longer available and they removed them from my order. After 2 phone calls, waiting over 30 minutes each time, I spoke with an agent. She said I was not allowed to cancel the order and their website doesn't reflect the actual stock, even though they contacted me upon request that they were again in stock. She offered to refund the shipping price, but only if I call back (and likely wait again) after I receive the 1 ball of yarn they do have in stock.

      The coupons for this store are deceiving and they expect the customer to know what they mean when its not stated properly. The customer service is lacking in a big way. They yell at customers, specifically ****** at *********** Expwy store in ********, **. Dont have coupons if the store people dont know how to read and honor them!! And dont make it seem like its not a big deal while you make it a big deal and get loud with customers.

      FALSE ADVERTISING AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.They list a price (like a doorbuster deal) on their main website, but when you add it to your cart-the price goes up. I tried to contact customer service to get a resolution to this issue but they just give you robot responses in a cheery demeanor. They arehappy to help you, but they wont help you, in reality.I actually did put through an order to be picked up in store, but after going back and forth with CS, and since they wont honor the price they list on their OWN main website, I wont be picking my order up-thus cancelling my bogus priced order.Someone who is a lawyer would have a field day if they didnt even try hard-this is not my first issue with Joann, but it is the most deceiving one.

      I have had 3 orders canceled in a week. I emailed the store, and the representative stated the merchandise is no longer available. I had this same issue a while back and the representative I spoke to then stated they do not have real-time processing but they were working on it. I guess after a year, they still do not. I feel very frustrated and I also feel this is deceiving or false advertising. I will no longer trust this business.

      I ordered Christmas wreaths from ***********. A LOT. So after waiting for two weeks to get tracking to no avail, I phoned for help. The polite phone rep let me know that there was nothing that he could do to help. He promised that within 3 to 5 business days, I should receive an email explaining the delay. Until then, I can't cancel the expensive order. So I probably won't receive wreaths this Christmas.... *********** continues to sell wreaths that they don't have or can't ship! Our churches will have to do without...at Christmas. This is wrong.

      i order 13 rolls of the orange check deco mesh 5.5" x 30'. 1) i was only sent 12 rolls instead of 13. i filed a complaint with CS (emailed) BUT no one has even bother getting back to me. i even gave the order number as well the item number. 2) these rolls are NOT even 30' long at all. 2 rolls i got 8, 8, 8 (12") strips and the last part of it i only got 7 strips of 12" (-1 strip), the 3rd roll i just cut up even way shorter than the first 2. i only got 8, 8, 8 (12" strips) and the last part i was only able to get 5 of the 12" strips which means i am 3 strips short (12"). on top of that it is the worse deco mesh i ever used. pretty color though. this is why i ordered 13 rolls knowing these rolls are NOT 100% 30' which is very disappointing since this stuff is made in ****** at the cost of $7.99 a roll. i am not the only disappointed in joann there are number of people in ******** groups i am in bitched about this as well. all i want is my 13th roll. they refuse to contact me about it.

      I ordered several Halloween decor items online. Several items were misrepresented by the pictures used to advertise them. They were cheaper, flimsier versions, which would have been apparent if the actual items sent were the ones photographed. The pictures were either of different items, or doctored. More than half of the items I received arrived broken. One of the broken items contained no invoice or paperwork of any kind. The invoice of another reminded that the company will not refund shipping, and that the buyer would have to pay to return the item. This means that I would have to pay for shipping twice over due to their mistake. Worst of all, one item was already broken BEFORE the company wrapped it and sent it to me. A large piece was obviously broken off, and was not present in the packaging. The bubble wrap bag in which it was shipped was undamaged, with no holes or tears through which a piece could have slipped. Further, the outer mylar bag (they shipped a fragile item in nothing more than bubble wrap and a mylar bag!) was also undamaged. And yet, the piece was entirely missing. They could only have packed it already broken. Other fragile items were also packed only in flimsy materials, and also arrived broken. This is just another example of the callous and dishonest dealings of online companies that is rampant, today. I will never shop from this company again, and encourage others to avoid them. Because of their dishonest principles, I will boycott their brick-and-mortar stores, as well. These companies will only continue to survive if supported by us, the customers. For as long as we tolerate their greedy, corrupt practices, these practices will continue. Companies will not care about their customers until we force them to do so by denying them our patronage until they change their ways. Your dollar is your vote.

      I placed an order for a LED pumpkin and ***** held onto it for a week. There were no updates. Not the fault of the company but it took about a week for my email to be responded to and its pretty awful: Your dispute is with ***** we shipped it to you they lost it by ********** This is the type of response that you cant possibly think would ever really happen to you. I was not amused and was not my typical polite self. Thankfully the order did arrive a couple of days prior to this response. Due to the type of ***** shipment, I could not have filed a claim myself, as they choose the lowest possible shipping speed. I would of had to go through PayPal to resolve this if I didnt get lucky. I will never order anything to be shipped ever again. This customer service rep has got to be fired. Its the most unprofessional, immature and unhelpful response possible. Not sure if its some kid who is apathetic but its not acceptable. The people in store are great so this is very jarring.

      I tried ordering a FOLDIGO lamp online using the coupon I received in my Joann app. I was not allowed to use it because it stated the item was excluded from coupons. I called customer service and after being on hold (several times disconnected) with them for over an hour, they could not place the order using the coupon as well. They told me to go to joann.com/exclusions so I did. No where on the list was lamp, Daylight, lighting.... I called back an no one could tell me why it was excluded. A third phone call and another hour later, I was told it was classified as "sewing machine" therefore I could not use the coupon. A lamp is clearly has nothing to do with sewing machines. I asked for a supervisor who as a "courtesy" would honor the 40% off. There would be no shipping since the item is over $75. When I received my conformation, there was a shipping charge of $1.95. I made another call and was told it wasn't actually a shipping charge but instead a handling charge. They would as another "courtesy" credit me when the order was processed. I placed the order on 10/3/22 and still no credit has been issued. I've spent well over two hours trying to purchase a lamp that I should have been able to use a coupon on and have had nothing but issued. I wanted to speak to the head of customer service at the corporate office and of course no one could tell me who or how to reach corporate. I tried calling the number provided online and on this bbb site with no luck. I will never purchase another thing from Joann again. Convenience is not always the best way to go. Bait and switch is what it seems to me with coupons and fees.
