    I have used Valley Hatchery twice. I was upset because the post office didn't get the chicks to me when stated. I had to drive 60 miles round trip 120 miles to get my chicks on the second day. Due to cold weather in ** I was afraid they wouldn't make it the third day. Chicks were very quiet, thought they or some were not alive. I only ordered 3. To my surprise when I got home there were 6 lively beautiful little chicks in the box that was packed with a heat pack. The heat pack had hardened and there was no water sponge. I believe the last order there was a little tray thing with a green vitamin water sponge. Boy were they THIRSTY. They sat by the water and drank for a half hour non stop! Valley Hatchery made my purchase and drive so worth it by including 3 extra chicks!!! I will order from them again.

    I am very pleased with the service with Valley Hatchery. I received my chicks two days after shipping date and they were all healthy and vigorous. They were making quite a bit of noise when I picked them up. They started drinking and eating right away. They sent me a couple extra chicks in case any didn't survive, coming from ******** to ****************. They not only survived but are thriving! They were worth the wait! Thank you Valley Hatchery!

    In a year when chicks of special breeds seem hard to get, I was happy to find that the Valley Hatchery had the particular breed I wanted, Black-Laced Gold Wyandottes ordering was easy, and I was really pleased that the chicks 12 Wyandottes and 4 Buff Orpingtons got here to northern ******* in just about 30 hours, all safe and peeping. Because my phone numbers were right on the top of the box, a postal worker in the big town 20 miles away called me immediately, so they didnt have to spend another night in postal custody. Very happy with my chicks, which are lively and healthy, and thanks to the helpful hatchery employee on the phone, too.

    I received my chickens today. They look great! Very healthy looking. I am very pleased with them. I thought they would have been stressed out because of the time in the shipping crate. But they we happy and are enjoying their new home. The customer service is awesome. They kept me informed along the way and replied to my inquiries within an hour. I will be a customer for life!
