I ordered a puzzle as a birthday gift and not only was it delayed when I got the packs they sent a completely different puzzle. I reached out to customer service and they made a return I was very clear with what happened. Customer service made a return on the wrong item and I am now responsible according to macys to drive to *** and return both items. They also reviewed my case and told me that they will not refund me for my puzzle that I didnt get!!! This is insane, they make a mistake twice and I am held responsible for this?!!! So now I lost my money and time and Macys lost a customer.

Purchased a high end extra firm mattress from Macys at ************************************* In less than two years its already sagging. I called and requested an inspection only for them to disregard the level of sagging thats abnormal within a 2 year timeframe. They totally disregard their warranty and stated that their ruler inspection didnt justify a warranty claim. If only I weighed the same as a ruler would agree. Buyer beware their Beautyrest mattresses are horrible dont waste your money their mattresses are defective.

I ordered a size 24W. The package arrived and the jumpsuit I received was a size 26W. Is all I wanted to do was to exchange the wrong size jumpsuit that I received for the correct size that I originally ordered. I was told that it was not possible because it was a Last Act item. I understand that it is a Last Act item, but its Macys responsibility to send me what I ordered and that did not happen. I cannot be held responsible for the person at the Macys warehouse that pulled the wrong item and sent it to me. According to your customer service people, not only can the item not be returned, but they wont even exchange the jumpsuit for the correct size even though it was clearly an error on Macys part. I am not only out the money that I spent, I now have a jumpsuit that is totally useless to me and every time I look at it I get very angry all over again. This is very poor customer service. Why do I have to be the person to take responsibility for Macys mistake? This is wrong. I have been a long time Macys customer and I never thought that I would be treated like this. Macys needs to take responsibility for their mistake and at minimum replace the item I received with the item that I ordered. If Macys refuses to make this right knowing that it is their mistake, Ill take my business back to ******** and make my family and friends aware of what happened with my order. I will miss shopping at Macys, but I will not shop with a company that does not take responsibility for their own mistakes. I will give them no stars at this time.

My Bloomingdales account was recently hacked, the hacker changed the email on my account so I can't get it, and then used my linked credit cards for orders. The hacker continued to steal my identity and open new credit cards. When I called bloomingdales initially they told me not to worry an that no one had placed orders so my account must be fine. Later when I saw chares on my CC, I called back and was transferred to a million departments wasting hours of time. It took two days of frustrating calls for them to say there is nothing they can do that I just have to open a new account. When I asked for the information of the person who hacked my account so I could file a police report, they told me that they cannot give me the person's info due to privacy and security! I cannot believe everyone I spoke to at Bloomingdales customer service cared so little that my account was hacked and my personal information in the hands of a fraudster,

On August 20, 2024 I placed an order for a blue pair of ******* Women's Classic Mid Rise Straight-Leg Jeans and a black pair of ******* Women's Classic Mid Rise Straight-Leg Jeans. Instead of sending me what I ordered, they sent me the blue jeans and a denim trucker jacket instead of the black jeans. On August 25, 2024, I called customer service. I was told they would send me the black pair of jeans, and I would not have to return the jacket I didn’t order. On August 27, 2024 I received yet another stupid denim trucker jacket. Again. I did not order it. NO BLACK JEANS. On August 28, 2024, I called customer service a third time. They wanted to send out yet another pair of “black jeans” (aka trucker jacket). I refused it as I did not want a THIRD jacket. So I asked for a refund. Unfortunately, I was told that *I* would have to return the two trucker jackets that I did not order. So between the original order, unpacking jackets I did not order, lots of time talking to customer service, and packing this crap, I have already wasted two hours of my time. Now they want me to waste even more time. What did I learn by this experience? 1) Macy's hires the worse of the worst. People who are obviously are not "clear minded on the job". This applies to both the warehouse and customer service. 2) Because Macy's hires a LOW quality workforce, expect to, as a customer, have to spend your time cleaning up their mess. Want to see a movie with the kids? Nope, sorry, expect to spend at least two hours calling their customer service, running to the post office with returns, opening packages of stuff you never ordered. I will never buy from them again. Once is a mistake, twice incompetence, and the least they could have done was have *** pick up the jackets THEY sent me in error instead of forcing me, the customer, to be further inconvenienced. Luckily *** and ****** are great alternatives.

I have lived in Sain* ******* my entire life, so visiting this Macy’s was particularly disappointing. The state of the store was almost heartbreaking. There are noticeable holes in the ceiling with buckets placed underneath to catch drips, and the lack of music made the atmosphere feel eerie, as if the store were on the verge of closing down.
The staffing situation was even worse. The once-busy shoe and purse departments now seem to be understaffed and neglected. Instead of dedicated employees, the jewelry associates are now expected to handle shoes, purses, and jewelry—all at once. This is clearly not working.
I initially went in to buy a perfume for my wife but struggled to get any assistance in that department. After flagging down an employee, I was told he didn’t work in that area but would find someone who did. To my dismay, there was only one employee handling both the fragrance and cosmetics departments. With a long line of customers, it was clear she was overwhelmed, so I left without making a purchase.
It’s unacceptable to make customers go on a scavenger hunt for help, and if the store is that short-staffed, there should be some cross-training so that employees in other departments can assist where needed. It seems as though Macy’s is trying to save money by paying one person to do the work of several, which is detrimental to customer service.
This store used to be great, but it’s clear that things have taken a turn for the worse.

I made an order June and it was stolen from my door before I got home. It was some very expensive perfume so I wish it was delivered to a parcel at my complex, but it was delivered to my door. When I got home I checked for the package and I went up and down the floors to see if it was delivered to the wrong address. When I asked for a refund so I could go purchase in store, they denied me several times. I’m not out almost $300 and I never got my products. I even worked with security who told me I wasn’t the only one who reported a stolen package but because of my “purchase history”, I was denied a refund. Very upsetting considering I go to macys all the time so I’m not sure what they meant by purchase history. Either way, this experience made me no longer want to do business with them.

I was a victim of identity theft on or about July-August 2024. I had a dormant MACY's credit card for at least two years with recent unauthorized charges made to it by parties unknown at their Queens store location. I requested a detailed report of their fraud investigation which they have not done to date. I requested they cancel any opened account(s) in their files under my name. INSTEAD, they sent me ANOTHER credit card!!! I cut it up and sent it back to them. Their one-star rating is for their quick letter of apology with NO details of the fraud incident that followed the mailing of the unsolicited new credit card. I have since placed a temporary credit freeze alert with the three credit report bureaus.

I order a chair and ottoman when they came the chair was in the wrong fabric. I refused the order. After a week of them trying to find the chair/ottoman. They reordered, another 12 weeks. But of course they broke their part of the contract and charged me any way. Then i just cancelled the order. I have been lied two 4 times to my face 4 times on line and I'm still waiting for my refund 24 days. Now today they said i wrote a check or paid cash for it? And it's clearly on my card! NEVER USE MACYS CREDIT CARD AGAIN OR BUY FURNITURE FROM THEM!

I've been shopping from Macys for over 20 years and as a gold member, I had never experienced such dilemma. I have contacted Macys customer service several times, my last email on 8/1/2024 also had been ignored. I placed an order on 06/27/24. When, I initially found out that the merchandise had not been received despite the delivery confirmation email on 7/3/2024, I contacted Macys. The representative extended her apology and promised to reship the merchandise. The very next day, on 7/11/2024, I received an email that they cant reship since *** had confirmed the delivery with a photo and that they would need to protect their business. I responded to them on 7/16 but the email bounced back since it was a "no reply email." I subsequently contacted the customer service, and I was told that reship had been rejected and they can't do anything about it. Macys is trying to protect their business by gauging their consumers in making them to pay for the merchandise that had not been received. Penalizing the consumer is not expected from a company that has been in business for such a long time. This is not a right business practice, and I regret to inform Macys that I would never buy from them moving forward. I have an excellent credit but due to this matter, my credit card was delinquent for a few days and after a discussion with my attorney, he suggested that I should pay the balance to avoid further damage to my credit score. I went ahead and settle the outstanding balance on 8/1/2024 despite of not having the goods in my possession. If Macys intention is to protect their business, they should make a small change to their business practice and obtain signature from their customers upon delivery. Deceptive and Fraudulent Practices at Macys Extremely Disappointed I have always trusted Macys as a reliable retailer for the past 20 years, but my recent experience has been nothing short of deceptive and downright fraudulent.
