      I ordered a watch on August 11th. It shipped on August 12th. Since then, it has gone from Nevada, to here in Denver, back to Nevada, and back to Denver. Yesterday morning I got a delivery notice, saying it would be here by the end of the day. This morning I have a notice that it is now in New Jersey. Their customer rep tells me there is nothing they can do, they can't cancel the order or offer a refund. He can't tell me when or if it will arrive. I will never order from Macy's again. I want to give them zero stars, but this site won't let me.

      They don't deserve the one star but I had to pick at least one........Macy's credit card is the worst credit card to have ever. I strongly encourage never to open a credit card with this store. I carried a zero balance and was never late on a payment when I did charge on it. Because my credit score dropped a little Macy's then closed my card and then added the comment to my report "closed by credit grantor". This has now caused my credit score to drop over 45 points. I have a 100% payment history on my credit report, my debt to income ratio is a little over 30% so I cannot honestly figure out why they did this. But of course Macy's won't/don't care. I used to love Macy's and made purchases there often but I will never purchase anything with Macy's again. EVER. HORRIBLE COMPANY.

      Fraud. They listed an VR item on their website for a price, which was low but I ordered hoping it wasn't a scam. They charged my account and the charge is still there. They then sent me 8 emails. The first 6 said, " the third party shipper wasn't able to ship and they were cancelling my order". I called and the customer service said it was out of stock. This was on 8/14. I got 2 emails today on 8/15 that said they listed the item at the wrong price and was cancelling. I don't think that's my fault. If you are selling something above what I think it should cost and I want it, I still buy it. I feel it is deceptive practice to get you to buy other things from their site. By the way, the charge is still on my checking account. Bad Business Macys!!!!!! Lost customer.

      I placed on July 20th during a special promotion for 10x points. The promotion ended at 12:00 eastern time which is 9:00 pacific time. I have a copy of my screen shot before 9:00 pst unfortunately I removed some items and I didn't place the order until 9:15 pst. All the items qualified for 10x except the shoes were 3x. ****** changed the date of my order and did not give me my $250 in Star Rewards. I'M ******

      Deceptive and Fraudulent Practices at Macys Extremely Disappointed I have always trusted Macys as a reliable retailer, but my recent experience has been nothing short of deceptive and downright fraudulent. I placed an order for two items online, which Macys unexpectedly canceled without any explanation. After reaching out to corporate, a representative promised to ship the items to me at no cost as a goodwill gesture. I appreciated this offeruntil the items arrived.The items I received were misleading based on their online description. The photos and minimal details provided made the items appear of much higher quality and weight than they actually were. Feeling misled, I went to a local Macys store to exchange the items for something that matched my expectations. The store manager seemed helpful and issued the value of the returned items onto gift cards, allowing me to pick out new jewelry.However, what followed was shocking and completely unethical. Macys then canceled my new orders, froze the gift cards, and kept the original items I returned. Not only did they fail to honor their commitments, but they essentially stole the value of the items by freezing the gift cards without any legitimate reason.This experience has shown me that Macys engages in deceptive practices, misleads customers with false product descriptions, and even goes as far as to commit what I consider to be fraudulent acts by denying customers the value of their returned items. I am beyond disappointed and feel completely betrayed by a company I once trusted.If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, think twice before shopping at Macys. What was once a reputable retailer has now proven to be unreliable, deceptive, and fraudulent in their practices.

      I am writing this review to report Macy’s unlawful practice of sending me an unsolicited credit card in July, 2024. This was preceded by a few days before with a letter that began: ”As you are aware, your Macy’s ******** ******* account was previously closed.” To be precise, this occurred on December 5, 2022. Over a year and a half ago. The account by their own admission was closed. But then they warn me that they will be sending me a replacement card for my “existing account.” It arrives a few days later, and when I call to cancel, and allege Macy’s fraudulent behavior, their explanation was that when I applied for the now closed account 10 years ago, I had also been approved at that time for a Macy’s store account. However, I never solicited or received that card, so there was no card to replace. I understand that sending out unsolicited credit cards is fraudulent, but so is this new scam of Macy’s sending out “replacement cards” to phantom accounts. I appeal to BBB to investigate and/or report this unlawful and fraudulent practice of Macy’s.

      I was at Macy's furniture dept. at Eastview Mall and ordered a recliner that was sale. I was talked into applying for a Macy's credit card because I was told that I would get a $100 credit on my purchase. I filled out the the application and it was not approved. I was told I would have to use my own credit card and would not get the credit. I have excellent credit and this seems like a bait and switch tactic to not give the customer the $100 credit. I have emailed the salesperson to cancel the order because I do not like how Macy's does business and heard nothing back from them. They do not answer the phone calls or emails.

      Macy's used to be"Macy's"! Macy's is now less than thrift store. Actually, thrift stores are better than Macy's! 1. Ordered some items (7/20/24), online, on sale. 2. Items in transit??? 3. Tracking indicates that items are sitting on Macy's shipping dock, for 6 days. I call CS 7/25. Why is my order sitting on your dock for almost a week? 4. CS solution:. If you don't receive this order by Aug 2nd???? I'll institute a new order.????????? Basically ... Don't care! Just wait another week, while we take our sweat time!?????? Today July 31st. 11 days later ... Still sitting on your dock????????????? This is unacceptable. Here is what I can predict will happen... ......... Aug 2nd, Macy's will institute a 2nd order, because the 1st is still sitting on your dock. If might possibly ship sometime this year. However, I'm positive you will charge me retail price, instead of the sale price I purchased the initial order for!!! Then, this is the fun part ... "I" we have to "try" contacting your illustrious CS, to get them to fix this mess, but ....... They won't! Macy's you are "LOW CLASS FOOLS"!

      I want to return a furniture , I needed 3 Labels instead of one , I have 3 boxes , the *** showed up to my house he refuse to picked them up , stating I needed 3 labels for each box . Now I am between Macys and the 3 th party and the boxes are still here , and my money in limbo worst customer ever , the deliver the wrong items , and its all damaged .Macys ***** and the third party that they are dealing with ante not responding to me . Bad company

      I have shopped at Macy's for nearly 50 years and the company has gone down hill. Customer service promised me a refund on a defective ***** ****** perfume I purchased online, but I never received it. Number 2, returning an item in store recently took 20 minutes. There is a glitch in the system and the rep couldn't figure it out. Waste of my time. Their new beauty returns have become much stricter. 30 days and you MUST have the box otherwise no way will they accept the return. This was not the case with their parent (?) store, *************. I still prefer Macy's to most other department stores because their prices are more reasonable, but I am reconsidering after recent transactions.
