Got quote to do inspection on 2 fire extinguishers only, yet they added inspection on 4 exit signs and got charge an extra $95 ($ 23.75 each). We already pay the City of ******* for the inspection of the exits signs. They did not acquired permission to inspect and add the extra service. We contacted them over 5 times to correct the invoice, but we gets promises of follow up and nothing is done. They forwarded our account to collection agency. We have no issue paying for what we ordered only. They need to correct the invoice and take us of collection. This is a doctor office and this was our first time using Cintas company.

I would like to cancel a contract without penalty. 2 years ago, They skipped our deliveries very often. Unfortunately, these past three months they’ve started to skip our deliveries again.
Although they skipped deliveries, they still charged us on non- delivery dates.
If they delivered every week and charge correctly, I wouldn’t have any complaints.
Also, our contract is white napkin every week, but they delivered black napkin sometimes.
I cannot use black napkin, so I discussed someone about this. He said, “I will give you credit when you returned napkins.” We returned black napkins. But we did not get any form of credit or refund.
Also They delivered only very dirty towel and napkin on July 18th and they charged mat and other things too. And they skipped deliver us on July 25th.
I called ###-###-#### on July 28th about cancelling and they said someone will call you back tomorrow, but they have not called us back yet. Usually, they do not call us back.
The driver delivered on August 1, but we did not take any products. Please do not charge it and stop by our restaurant for picking up your products as soon as possible.
We would like to cancel without penalty reason why we need clean linens consistently and charge correctly.

I am asking for a refund for non-delivery invoice and returned item and cancel a contract without penalty.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.

I discussed manager about this case that i believe the beginning of the August. He said I accept cancel without penalty, also pay that you only got delivery. If you did not get any delivery you do not need to pay it, also when we delivered very dirty towel date, you do not need to pay it, I will take care of it. So I paid what only we got delivery on Aug 9th. but I just checked cintas my account, they are still keeping charge every week until Aug 15th. Also they have not deleted July's invoice which we did not get delivery.

We entered into a verbal contract with Megan from Cintas July 2021, we explained to her we were newly opening a business unsure of what products we may or may not need. She explained to us that we could add or take items off at anytime since we were in no contract and billed weekly. We are in a one year lease with our business location and let that be known over and over because with co vid actively going on we heard the horror stories of places closing down. At the start things were going pretty smooth, until we ran out of chemicals to run our dish system in October 2021, we reached out over and over to our rep. with no response for over a week, putting us into a tough spot. We were charged for weeks of use of something that we could not even use. She did get back to us weeks later to let us know she was on vacation after we explained we wanted to cancel all services. We understand we owe for the services rendered in total of around 850 dollars but now they are calling emailing and sending notice we owe almost 6000 for the remainder of a contract we never entered into. I did contact the company and Cintas will never return my call and the collection company they contracted is less then helpful. I asked for a copy of this contract I supposedly entered into and they keep sending me a generic paper that is not a contract. As a fellow human I am sure you can understand this, if I entered into a contract 1. why would I make it for longer then I have a lease on my business 2. If I entered into an agreement where I stated I would pay for services weather they were rendered or not, why would I cancel them. Even if I was unhappy if I am paying I would still use it. I have reached out many times to settle on what we actually owe and they will not except anything less then that 6000.

I was able to discuss the situation with ********* this
      afternoon.

We agreed that she would pay the balance on the account by
the end of the month, she indicated it would be next week, and the account
      would be considered closed.

I confirmed with her that she was comfortable with the
resolution and she thanked me for working through this with them.

A sales person for Cintas came in to show me their products for cleaning maintenance of our school. I loved the idea and products looked great. I looked at the brochure and picked out the products I thought our building needed. I specifically asked if I could cancel anytime and the sales person emphatically said "YES". Fast forward several months later and I am dissatisfied with service. They have charged for items they did not supply. They have charged for "clean" rugs that were not changed out. The men's room went without toilet paper for 2 weeks and I was charged for it, auto-drafted from my account even after I requested they stop. I have photo evidence of damage to our martial arts mats from their cart they rolled over them. Each mat costs $60. I've requested they not roll over or walk on the mats and every week a new person comes in the building and destroys the mats. I contacted Cintas and stated that I was cancelling the service and they told I could not because I signed a "FIVE YEAR CONTRACT". The only thing I've EVER signed for 5 years is a car. The sales person never pointed this out and never went over it, as I said, I was told we could cancel "anytime". SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE to the extreme. I am trying not to involve an attorney. We are a new business to South Carolina from Texas. I am considering closing the school down and moving back to Texas over this. I want this relationship over and done with.

We were able to discuss the complaint with ***** today and we will be stopping her service which she agreed was the resolution she was looking for.  We will be going out next week to pick up our products.  Her service was set up on a once a month delivery schedule to help ***** save money which lead to her paper being out at one point and rugs being dirty.  Also clarified that we presented the contract up front in two separate meetings and she did call us back in to sign the contract.   We pride ourselves in handling ourselves in an ethical manner and hate there was a miss understanding on the front end about the contract itself.  By taking this action to help ***** out and let her out early we have resolved this matter to ******* satisfaction.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, even though Cintas states they come on a monthly basis when in fact it was weekly and the toilets went without paper for 2 weeks.  I disagree with the claim that their contract was presented up front when it was not.  That questions my character and integrity which is a major component of our running a successful martial arts program for children.   They were pleasant in discussing the issue and I am happy to have it resolved.

Had been a Cintas client for past 5 years. On 02/20/22, longtime driver Clay, presented me a 60 mo contract to renew. My response was that our business had reduced employees and productivity therefore is not using the same quantity of rented rags. Clay stated that he could only continue services with a signed 60 mo contract however "My new boss is very understanding and will allow your business out of a contract if needed, no questions asked". I stupidly fell for trusting Clay's representation of this company since he had serviced our facility for years at this point.
In the months since I have asked our acct to be held from delivering as often as our quantity decreased eventually stating we needed to stop services. I was then called from Tim B******** Svc Mgr location **** ****** ** *****, stating he was emailing our signed contract & could swap services otherwise my only option is to buy out the contract. No help whatsoever.
Despite my best judgement, my invoices are paid up to date. I just want out of the contract & rags picked up. Lied to & treated unethically.

**** and ****, I appreciate your time on the phone Tuesday, June 12th. I am glad we have come to a resolution that works for both your business and Cintas. We work with many businesses - big and small - and know each has unique needs. We do try our best to accommodate every need of each customer, but we also understand sometimes the rental service customers originally sign up for no longer make sense given changes at our customers' businesses. We wish you all of the best in your future endeavors and we very much value your business with Cintas. Thank you.
