      Worst company ever. They automatically added my 16yr to my policy ( how they got her information is another issue!!!))) because she has her PERMIT and drafted $858.00 from my bank account ( my monthly is typically a little over 100). " we sent you a letter". I signed up for paperless account !!! I'm being told there is nothing they can do and that its required!!! I was told that as long as she isn't driving the car I wouldn't need to add her, and she's not! I have never heard of such a thing where they auto add members of my house hold. Now they wont let me remove her from my policy, or allow me to remove auto payment. They are forcing my hand into something I don't want because I need car insurance and it doesn't seem right.

      I recently had a policy re-write and cancelled my previous policy with a gentleman (I do not remember their name)
      He had said I may or may not owe to the previous policy but someone will notify me if I do. I was told then I do not owe to the policy due to it being cancelled and not being renewed
      A month goes by and I get a notification about owing a payment so I call another representative and they said I do not owe said money due to it being canceled so don’t worry about it this happens another 2 times and both those times I had stated concern about it going to collections so I want to be 100% sure it does not need to be paid
      Just today I get a notification from collections about the balance. It is now paid however I am very upset about the previous service and the fact that now I have a collections bill. This should be rectified in my option

      Fraudulent company! Takes peoples money and will try and screw over the customer with their claims and adjusting department. There is not an honest person that works for this company. Adjusters write bogus replacement reports to settle for a 10th of what it cost to replace. I wouldn’t trust this company to insure anything. You will regret it if you ever have to make an honest claim.

      TLDR: If you might be late on paperwork, don’t call, just go up to a progressive location so you can speak to someone in person. They have no excuse then.
      Here’s the problem with progressive, they have no grace or mercy. Giving someone extra time to get something that was late turned in for no other reason but delaying a payment is not cool. If there is clearly a mistake but you offer no alternative or redemption for that and there are people paying you to help them out… it feels like you are tricking them into thinking that your on their side.. clearly that’s not the case. When I found out my paperwork needed to be filled in and returned; before the payment was due, I called them to let them know that I did not want so and so to be on the list of people under my insurance (yes I am aware that you need that paperwork in your hands progressive) I’m also aware that I wasn’t aware until it was ALMOST too late. They said they would push the date back for the payment (which was for no reason) I get that the lady was trying to help me by giving me a tip to be more aggressive in my approach (saying “what I would do I call us in 2 days and see if we got that paperwork) I didn’t and they didn’t (took 2 weeks) after the fact that they took money out of my account.. seriously need to up your game progressive because if I have to get angry in order for you to have mercy or grace it’s CLEARLY being greedy.

      They are crookes that have raised my insurance policy over$ 1000.
      The customer service is the worse. Worst insurance company ever.

      An auto accident involved myself and an insured from Progressive. The Progressive insured was drunk and sideswiped my truck. He accepted full liability and was also arrested for DWI. Prior to the repair process, I noticed 23 additional items the next day that was not working on my truck after the accident. When the Progressive claims adjuster called me, I told him about the additional items and he advised me to show them to the body shop when I took my truck in for repair. This I did, then in the middle of the repair process, a different adjuster called and advised me they would not be covering the additional items. Those items were not damaged prior to the accident and I fully expect my truck to be put back in the condition prior to the accident. This is bad faith handling on the part of Progressive. I will be filing a DOI complaint as well.

      I have called multiple times to adjust mt auto claim. They are saying a part of my accident was pre existing. My vehicle was in perfect shape besides a crack in the windshield from the highway. Which is very common with the Jeep Wrangler. Still waiting 5 days later with no resolution.

      Been getting the run around from day one for a renters insurance claim. Every time they ask for documents I provide them then it’s oh well we need this oh I have to reach out to this person like ***** **** would never I definitely would not recommend. The Adjustor is very dismissive can’t answer direct questions. I feel like I’m doing his job and mines. Claim been going on for a month with no answers or updates. I submitted proof and documents and I’m still getting the run around it’s terrible I’ve never had a issue like this before. They act like cutting a check is coming directly from a personal account I canceled my insurance immediately after I’ve encountered so many problems and no communication from them I always have to reach out it’s ridiculous

      I wish I could give Progressive a 0 star review. I have been completely left in the dark regarding our insurance claim and haven't been able to get ahold of ANYONE assigned to my claim. Our claims rep Essence C******* NEVER called me back after the dozens of calls over the last 7 weeks. I have not been able to reach our insurance adjuster not once. Progressive had our car sitting at a tow yard for nearly a month to the point where our loan company called saying they were going to repossess it since it hadn't been picked up. I had to make a dozen calls and go through the run around with so many different people to even find one person competent enough to help. Then, once the auto shop FINALLY got our car (thanks to the tow yard and NOT progressive) it has had constant issues since it was supposed to be done. They said the alternator was broken and progressive wouldn't pay to fix it despite it working just fine when they got the car. Then they said the power steering was out despite it passing during the initial test drive/diagnosis. Now they're saying the battery is dead/broken. It's been a non stop shit show getting anyone to do their job.
