      The worst insurance policy I have ever purchased. Complete and total nightmare dealing with representatives . Lack of communication and my claim "falling through the cracks" progressive has been very unprofessional on handling my claim and has drug their feet 110% of the way . I WILL be dropping them and finding a better company who treats their paying customers better when needed. Way to drop the ball and loose a multi vehicle customer

      Claims Department left my car for an inspection at a Dealership for over 30 Days. I couldn't get my car back. I call everyday over 100 times with no response. They finally released the hold and did not do anything regarding the damages to my car. But, the sent me a check for $250.00 not stating why. I have some serious damage done to my vehicle. That that not going to fix anything. I am very ?? disappointed with them. I use to love them for a long time. This truely HURTS!!!!

      There seems to be a trend here with the other reviews left. My fiance was recently in an accident; someone rear ended her at a stoplight and then when pulling around the side of her bumped the car again.
      Why is progressive telling her she has to pay a deductible? It was clearly a not fault accident; Why is progressive making her pay for a rental car while her car is in the shop being repaired?
      And furthermore, why was the progressive representative telling her that the damage on the side of her car was "LOW" and that it was impossible for it to have happened. I took a tape measure out and the majority of the damage measured 21", the same dent in the side of her car was exactly 21".....
      Is it not your insurance holders job to submit the claim and stand behind you while dealing with the other drivers insurance to ensure that the damages done were fixed, correctly and in a timely manner?
      Crap insurance.. Pay a little more and go with a better company.

      Our claim has been a nightmare. Andy **** was nice to begin with but as time went on it became glaringly obvious that this guy has not been adequately trained, does not pay attention to detail, and his lack of professionalism has caused delays that cost us money.
      After being given a low-ball value for our totaled vehicle, we asked for them to reevaluate the valuation of the vehicle because they were not coming at all close to what it should be. They also added deductions to the value that did not actually apply. He said that there were cuts in the door panel, but our car was meticulously taken care of, and he failed to acknowledge that they didn't actually go out to see the vehicle until after the auto body shop had taken apart the car in the beginning (after the initial quote for repairs and before they found additional damage which totaled the car). The panels in question were originally quoted to be totally replaced, so we weren't mad about the repair shop cutting them, but Andy refused to compromise on the dispute. They failed to respond to the request for a new valuation, so we put one together for them. They responded to that and threw in some extra pocket change, but not the compromise we were looking for.
      Andy consistently forgot to attach documents on emails, to us and our bank. That resulted in delays of sharing information and procedures being followed through in a timely manner. Even though his inability to efficiently do his job was the reason for at least 2 weeks of this claim, Progressive stuck us with more than half of the storage fee for the car at the shop awaiting a resolution to our claim issues and release of the vehicle.
      His team lead isn't helpful either. Instead of worrying about customer service and actually going back to verify our complaints she talked over us, argued, and generally made matters worse. Today Andy tried to tell us that we electronically signed papers and he needed them done again - but the signature was not electronic.

      Reporting the unsavory customer service I received from Michelle C. litigation specialist from the Progressive Insurance company that handles the claims. This claim was filed two and a half years ago. It took 3 attempts with 3 different attorneys to get progressive insurance to accept liability. Signed and traveled miles to get the forms certified on Aug 17, 2022. Progressive Insurance received documents. Now, it's red tape and deliberate delays. The kicker is Progressive Insurance allegedly mailed a check USPS with no way of tracking said mail? According to Michelle C. who instructed my attorney to "handle" me as if I was a dog on a lease! Michelle C. came off as insensitive and depicted racial undertones when all I wanted to know is why didn't this business use a tracking system when mailing clients important documents? Michelle C. instructed counselor for me to stop talking to her...Inquiring to why wasn't the check sent FedEx? Another kicker, I also have Progressive and since this claim that was not my fault......my insurance increased!

      I've always usually had decent customer service from Progressive for the last 5 years, except until I decided to move to another state. Even though I bundled my new home with auto, when it came time to update my auto policy to the new state, they sent me through a verification process that takes weeks to process while making a customer jump through hoops trying to verify information that they already have. Meanwhile, making their customer pay a higher premium. I will never recommend Progressive to someone who is planning to move to another state. I will switch my policy to a new company as soon as I can. None of my other friends that have moved to a different state, have been put through such a lengthy and stressful process by their insurance company. A group of High school students can probably do a better job of researching then Progressive's verification department.

      Rude managers, greedy company, won't refund any money despite my ability to provide documents. I advise people avoid them to avoid the headache when something goes wrong, because progressive won't help and they'll be rude when you inquire about it.

      I have been with Progressive Insurance for years and decided to bundle policies and sign up for automatic payments well they took the payment twice and now refuses to refund my money I’m now looking for a better company!!
