1 starI visited here and concluded this place is a danger to the public and needs to be shut down. Roaches and other pests crawling everywhere, they take your deposit and make it hard to get it back. I had to call my bank an dispute the charges to get my refund because if you depend on them you will never see it. I arrived to a smelly, dirty pests filled room and then given another nasty room to replace the first one. The desk clerk told me he was doing me a favor by canceIing another reservation an giving me theirs. That room was gross too so I left. I also notified the health department. 1 starThe hotel charged me double of what was on the internet
They refused to refund any of my money. It is a dive hotel with no microwave no refrigerator. They charged me 140 a nite when the internet said 73. When I realized it the Manger told me to bad. I already paid for it.Review fromTyhesha G

1 starThe owner ***** is a disrespectful unprofessional thief. I stayed there for over 5 months. Week to week. The room had no phone The light had a short and the toilet had to shake the handle. All of which we told him from the time we checked in. The last week I was there I checked out early on Saturday morning they gay me back my deposit because there was nothing wrong with the room. I left it the way I checked in. I called to ask when will the rest of my money be put on my card. He said I'm no it getting it back. I called the resolution complaint center they said for me to go to him to try to work it out. He owes me $243. It is illegal for him to just keep my money. Don't trust him. Make sure you get a receipt. And he thinks he's Superfly so he claims he's apart of a cartel. I guess this is why he still have my money and the Police did nothing. It's called theft of services. 1 starI was staying at an airbnb in Saluda. My checkout date was September 30, 2022. I learned my hometown (********, **) was expecting to be impacted by Hurricane *** on Friday, September 30. Knowing the airbnb was expecting guests right behind my stay, I needed a backup plan for the night of the 30th. I checked online the morning of September 28 and saw that Red Roof Inn in Hendersonville, could accept a reservation with full refund if canceled by 11:59 PM on the 28th. I made the reservation around 8:00 am on the 28th, leaving me 16 hrs. to talk to the owner of the airbnb regarding the possibility of extending my stay. I heard from the owner with 3 hrs. who said she had spoken with the incoming guests and they had said they could come at another time. I called and canceled between 11:30 and noon on the 28th, 12 hrs. before the required time. Little did I know when I clicked on Red Roof Inn, booking.com became involved. Red Roof Inn canceled the reservation and sent me a cancelation confirmation. I asked if they would notify booking.com and was told it was automatic. On Saturday, October 1 and discovered booking.com had deducted $132.69 from my checking account. I called booking.com and was told Red Roof Inn had not sent them a cancelation. I called Red Roof Inn on October 2 and told them what booking.com had said. She sent me two more cancelation notices which did me no good because they would only accept the cancelation from Red Roof Inn. On Friday Oct. 7 I called booking.com again and was told Red Roof Inn has still not sent them the cancelation notice. I again called Red Roof Inn. The person at the front desk said she would have the Manager call me. I called Red Roof Inn and spoke with *******. She said she had given the message. I still have not heard from them. All they have to do is send the cancelation notice and I will get my money back. They refuse.Review fromJoel P

Do not stay here unless you like to sleep in a room with broken door locks, tv that was stolen, missing light bulbs. And the creepiest guests. They allow all pets, so if you like to sleep in a bed that a 100lb dog slept in the night before, stay here.Red Roof Inns, Inc.

1 starThis hotel is a slum. There is so many things I'll list them out starting with my purse being stolen from the parking lot while they have security on property who made fun of another guest getting his car stolen by a prostitute he picked up.... Laughing to me was unprofessional since they clearly did not do their job. There is also the issue with traffic in and out from homeless and prostitution which is allowed and the girls have rooms booked but yet I was told I had to have any guest registered all hours of night the smell of drugs is all you smell and safety is a question when cops come everyday. The staff is rude and the rooms have mold and paint covering it up towels have hair on them and beds have stains. The so called security harass guest who keep to them selves and don't seem to do job paid to do which is secure property. They allow cars to be broke in to and crime to happen on their property and when you don't like how they do things you become a target. This hotel is nothing more than a legal brothel they know the crimes being made and allow it.Review fromMelinda W

Do not stay here! Place is dirty! They charged us a 50.00 deposit and only refunded $30.00. They said because the towels were stained that they charged us $20.00. First of all we had to use a whole container or Lysol wipes to clean and disinfect the room before we could stay there. We purchased towels to use because the ones there were stained when we arrived. We only used the towels to dry our hands! We were attending an event at the ******* ***** speedway and this was the closest place with availability. The place stunk of mildew and mold. I wouldn’t even give it one star!Red Roof Inns, Inc.

Thank if you were so disappointed why did you stay for 3 nights and why you didn’t contact the front office to let them know that you were not happy with your room. We have policy in place to protect our property from any damage to our belongings. We have to recover the cost to continue doing business. We are sorry that you are upset about paying for damages.

Arrived at the mentor red roof inn and it was nice at first. The first night was great and then the second day as I'm taking a shower my boyfriend is awoken by the manager pounding on the door and threatening that I have 2 minutes to get out. He then comes in to accuse of smoking in the room and searches the room only to find nothing. No apology, we were told that we were getting a break. For what? Not smoking in the room? Then on our last day after we checked out, we cleaned and moved our trash to one corner of the room since this place can't provide basic accommodations such as a larger garbage cans and refrigerators. I left a soda on the night stand away from the road and forgot to throw away, should be no big deal until we got a call saying that soda was dumped on the bed. I will admit we aren't the cleanest but we will never dump a soda on the bed and just not say anything. We come back to see and the bed is wet. It was dry when we left so when did it spill? Because I can surely tell you it wasn't us. This red roof had been trying to cause problems with us from the start and even continued as far as banning us for a mess we didn't make. If I can rate a 0 I would. This place has a track record for actions like this and someone needs to stop itRed Roof Inns, Inc.

1 starIt was a terrible experience to live in this hotel. I booked one night stay through Chase ultimate rewards website in June. We realized the hair dryer is not working when my girl friend trying to dry her hair after the shower. We called the front desk and ask for an replacement, but being told no one is in office after 11 pm. The time we called is around 11:15 pm. My girlfriend got sick because of that on next day and we are travelling through the No.1 highway. I filed a compliant to the owner Mary and she promised she will give 50% discount for the inconvenience but she couldn't refund that directly since we booked through ultimate reward website. She ask me to call the chase reward website later and she will verify the information with them. However, when chase reward website agent contact them to verify, she denied to admit what happened and there is not refund. I am ok with not being refund but the way she did that is really not decent. Just want to share my experience here and make sure people will be aware.Review fromTaylor C

1 starI recommend you do not stay here. I stayed here last Monday on August 1 when I walked into the motel room the floor the bathroom the walls and the bed were all covered in human s*** it looks like this s*** has been sitting there for a few days and it smells disgusting it was about 1 AM they told me the front desk would be closed when I arrived I called and rang the doorbell until somebody answered. when somebody answered they said they were going to come down to the front desk and switch my room. the person came down was extremely apologetic told me that this is their first night there. They gave me another room i went to the room wasnt the cleanest but it was some where to sleep. I go to the gas station to get some snacks I come back to the hotel and I try to wash my hands theres no water. I tried to call the front desk again to see why theres no water no answer I go to sleep I get up at 9 AM the guy tells me that the motel has no water. I ended up just leaving and go home.
