      I purchased a new Kia K5 GT on July 7, 2023 at Coughlin in Lancaster, Ohio. Aiden, my salesman did an excellent job and was able to answer all my questions. From the moment I walked in the door to the second I drove off I received top notch service and would highly recommend visiting Coughlin Kia for your next car purchase!

      Tried to sell me a new Kia Rio 2023 with 500 miles on it, and would discount the price according ($150.00) since they were selling it as "new" @ $2000 above mrsp. Then they tried to get me to either but or lease another one (same make model ) and was told it was more expensive because I went from white to black paint job!! $400 a month payments with excellent credit score. Such a joke should be sued for false advertising ads on tv.

      I am so grateful and very pleased with the work they have done on this vehicle. They said it would take approximately 1 and a half hours to complete. They were spot on. They also ran my car through their car wash. This was so wonderful, and my car needed it. I feel the upgrade on this recall will help me sleep at night. Plus, to have it done by someone that has been doing the upgrades is fantastic. Thank you!

      I worked with **** *********. Overall great new car buying experience. Im strictly a ford guy. I will reach out to Jeff next time im in the market for a new vehicle. It was a 3 hour drive from Pittsburgh, but well worth the time. Easy, simple, fair..... 5Stars.

      Took my 2014 Optima in for a recall. There were 7 recalls and they fixed 5. When I got the car back the radio and backup camera no longer worked. They also removed the cabin air filter (why?) and claimed they couldn’t replace it unless I paid $60 for a new filter. They are refusing to fix the radio and camera that they broke. I spent 5 hours there over 2 days to get 5 of 7 recalls fixed. (I hope) and got a broken radio and backup camera and also can’t use my vents/defrost or A/C because they told me using them without the cabin filter will ruin the blower motor. Their motto is “ we’ll break anything to make an extra buck”

      We thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I would like to address your comments.
      The remaining two recalls were not performed due to lack of time. If you would like to schedule a time to have the additional two recalls performed we would be happy to do so.
      The Cabin Filter that was presented to you was damaged from mice. We recommended you not to reinstall as it ha a hole chewed through it. We did offer to replace the filter and you declined that service.
      As far as the radio goes, none of the recalls pertained to any radio or backup camera operation. We have performed these recalls on other vehicles and have never had an issue with the radio. We did offer to replace your current radio at cost with free installation to which you declined.

      Nov 15 2021, I took my car in for diagnostic service. A service person called the same day. They needed to keep the car overnight for a cold start in the AM. The next day no one contacted me about my car although I called them. Nov 17 2021, I called the service department only to be told that I HAD NEVER BROUGHT IN A VEHICLE to be serviced. I contacted OnStar and the Licking County Sheriff. Once the Sheriff went to Coughlin Chevrolet, they managed to find my vehicle. Be careful of this dealership. I still haven't gotten over this incident.

      We certainly apologize about any inconvenience we may have caused. When we look up a vehicle many things can happen ( different name, vehicle identification number transposed, ect). Any vehicle that comes in for service is written by the serial number not the customer name. This was also during COVID when we had limited staff in the dealership. We really have no way to give an accurate response since this incident happened a year and a half ago. If there is something that happened recently that prompted this review, we would be happy to address it. Please feel free to give me a call anytime.
