Project began in April 2024 by the company pouring the concrete foundation to my neighbors, 2 houses down.
Immediately after what they considered completed (paid) we experienced several leaks, we worked with local office and had 4 techs come out through the next few months to fix the leaks with no success.
To date I do not have the leaks resolved, All the members in management I have reached are not returning calls or emails, they may be waiting for the warranty to expire.
We just want what we were sold, be able to enjoy a waterfall, leak free patio/sunroom.

      Business Response

      Date: 01/31/2025

We sincerely regret that the leak issue has not yet been fully resolved despite our multiple visits and repair efforts. Ensuring your sunroom meets the quality standards we uphold remains our priority, and we are committed to addressing this matter. Our team will be reaching out to discuss the next steps and schedule another visit to find a lasting solution. Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because:

The business contacted me immediately after submitting my complaint and send someone out - who fixed one of the  existing leaks, however it rained 2 days later and now we have 2 additional new leaks, one being severe and dripping into an outlet. They are come back out and attempt again,  I will not know if the visit will be successful until next week when more rain is in the forecast.  Thank you

We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue. We’ll be sending a different team to reassess and address the leaks. We entered a contractual agreement with Patio Enclosures 14 OCT 2024, which stated the company involved with install a glass enclosure on an existing patio, a ceiling fan, flooring, and a concrete pad measuring 10’x14’; contract price $********** We were informed that once our project began the patio enclosure would take one day, but the entire project may take two days due to the concrete pour.

We were notified that our materials had been fabricated and deliver to the patio enclosures warehouse 18 DEC 2024 with install by the end of the month. I called 27 DEC 2024 for an update to the installation timeline and was told it would start 30 DEC 2024. The project did not actually start until 7 JAN 2025, at which time the contractor dug the outline for the concrete pad and left two pallets containing bags of concrete. We requested a new contractor due to lack of communication and notified the regional office that this project lingering was causing us to have to reschedule other projects we had coordinated, such as having the concrete coated with polyurea and landscaping (delayed because he cannot lay sod where the pallets are). The patio was enclosed (although the doors were installed with incorrect orientation) and flooring installed, but we are still pending installation of the fan and concrete pad. Numerous calls are placed to the company daily, either with no response, or inadequate response and poor follow up. We are ready for this job to be done!

      Customer Answer

      Date: 01/21/2025

Hello. The complaint is against Patio Enclosures by Great Day Improvements. I’m not sure who the other company is or why the complaint is attached to them. That is errant. Thank you.

      Business Response

      Date: 02/04/2025

We understand your frustration and appreciate your patience throughout this process. While unexpected delays occurred due to contractor changes and weather conditions, we remain committed to completing your project as promised. The enclosure and flooring have been installed, and the concrete pad was successfully poured. The final step is adjusting the door orientation. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this has caused and appreciate your continued cooperation as we bring your project to completion.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 02/09/2025

I am rejecting this response because: although there is new regional management who is promising resolution, as of this moment no additional action has taken place. We are still waiting for the concrete to be finished (concrete splatter removed from surfaces and wood framing removed), enclosure door location to be changed, ceiling fan hung. We will accept a response once all work has been finalized. We’ve paid for certain project and level of professionalism. While it’s too late for professionalism, we are determined to have a finished project we can be proud of without performing work ourselves.

      Business Response

      Date: 02/13/2025

We understand your frustration and appreciate your patience. Our Regional Manager is scheduled to meet with you next week to address these concerns and ensure the project is completed as expected. We remain committed to finding a resolution and will work toward delivering the finished result you deserve.

This matter has not been handled satisfactorily. They scheduled to meet with us today, but cancelled yesterday. This is the same pattern of treatment we’ve received from this company time and time again. Empty promises and a job that is still not complete. We are 24 days away from our back yard wedding and need this project completed.

      Business Response

      Date: 02/25/2025

We understand your frustration and sincerely apologize for the delays and any inconvenience this has caused, especially with your upcoming wedding. We have been working to ensure all issues are addressed in a single visit, including reordering the rails, adjusting the door direction, removing the wooden frame, and hanging your ceiling fan. We regret the scheduling change and recognize the urgency of completing your project. Please know that we are prioritizing this to ensure everything is finished as quickly as possible. The materials have been ordered and are set to arrive early next month. Thank you.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 03/03/2025

I am rejecting this response because: we never had the meeting with the manager and are still pending completion of our job. We took care of the concrete framing ourselves so that it could be coated. Still pending correct door installation and ceiling fan installation. Per ****** this will tentatively take place 12 MAR…our ceremony is 15 MAR. We’re cautiously optimistic this will get completed before our wedding and will be satisfied when the response is action taken and our project is completed satisfactorily.

      Business Response

      Date: 03/07/2025

Thank you for your patience. We understand how important it is to have your project completed before your wedding, and we’re committed to making that happen. Our manager will be out when the remaining work is finished, including the correct door installation and ceiling fan. Per Debbie, this is tentatively scheduled for March 12, and we will do everything we can to stay on track.

Patio Enclosures installed my enclosure on 3 September 2024. The total cost of the installment was $3,872.81. Payment was made immediately and within terms of the contract. My order # is *********.
On 26 September 2024 Hurricae Helene came through. I had several trees that came down and one tree punctured a hole in the screen. it's not a large hole but still requires fixing. The next week I called Patio Enclosures and reported the damaged and asked that someone comeout and repair the screen. They asked for pictures. I emailed pictuures.
That was the beginning of October 2024. I have made at least 25-30 phone calls to Patio Enclosres. Sometimes I get a voice on the other end and somethimes I do not. I have asked for a return call and never receive one. Once in awhile I have spoken to someone and they tell they will call me back....no return call. The last eprson I spoke with before the holidays was Pete. He told me he would contact *** who handles the north region and would call me back. No call back. HPete even gave me his number which I have called several times, only getting voice mail and asking for him to return my call. Nothing.

I understand Patio Enclosures is a busy company but communication and customer service is non-existent.

      Please help.

I hired GreenDay / Patio Enclosures for a Lanai tear down and built. I never received a contract from them. I applied for a Loan through ***** ***, and Once the loan was approved, Patio Enclosure withdrew $6828.88 from the account. This took place in April 2024. Thus far, only the permit and survey were issued. Appointments with contractors are not attended. No one answers to phone and calls are not returned either. They seem to be having staff problems, which is concerning. I have no idea if they are still in business. Also, they did not want to give me a completion date from the inception of the contract, which i never received. I need all the help I can get either getting a reimbursement, or project completion date.

On December 18, 2024, my husband and I accepted a sales call from **** ******. We were interested in installing an enclosure to keep our dog outside the home but still within a secure environment.

**** drafted the order paperwork on his tablet and asked me for a code that had been sent to my email. I provided him with the code, and he began filling out the paperwork. I then made my initial deposit payment, and he informed me that the paperwork—which I later learned was a contract—would be emailed to me. I did not sign anything at that time.

I arranged for someone to come to our home to take measurements on December 30, 2024.

On the morning of January 2, 2025, my husband and I discussed our dog’s health after receiving feedback from our dog sitter about his lack of mobility and incontinence while we were away. We concluded that he likely would not live much longer and therefore decided we no longer needed the enclosure.

We called **** at 10:43 a.m. on January 2, 2025, and he directed us to the company to speak with a representative. We explained our situation to *******, who said she would call us back. She returned our call at 2:13 p.m. and informed us that we could cancel the project but would lose our deposit of $4,561.94. After reviewing the emailed contract, we confirmed that this was stated in the terms.

******* said she would email the cancellation paperwork for us to sign. However, at 2:30 p.m., another representative called and stated they would be charging us a second payment of $4,561.94, claiming they had ordered materials that morning. This information had not been disclosed during our earlier call at 10:43 a.m. When we asked for more details, the representative responded that we would be charged and could take the matter to small claims court.

We locked our credit card at 2:37 p.m., and at 2:42 p.m., the company attempted to charge the card again. No work has been performed, and no materials were actually obtained. We simply want to be left alone.

We signed a contract with Patio Enclosures which is part of Great Day Improvements on June 5th with "expected" completion in 14 to 16 weeks. The contract was to design and build a 3 seasons room on our home. We have had 4 representatives of Patio Enclosures come to our home, not including the sales person and have nothing to show for it after 26 weeks. The initial payment of approx $20,000 has been paid to Patio Enclosures as of July.
Over the past month, I have been in contact with the Regional General Manager out of Pittsburgh and am seeing little progress and no updates in spite of repeatedly asking for regular communication.

We sincerely apologize for the delays and lack of communication you’ve encountered. While permitting and other project milestones can sometimes extend timelines, we understand how frustrating this situation has been for you. As of our recent conversation, your permit was approved on 12/16, and your order is now being processed. We’re currently on track to begin your project in late February or early March. We’re grateful for your patience and will continue to provide updates to ensure transparency moving forward. Thank you.

We want to address your concerns and provide clarification based on our
recent visits. On 11/25, ******* and ***** were on-site to adjust your windows
and ensure they were functioning properly. During the visit, ******* noticed
the indoor humidity level was over 60%, which can contribute to moisture on the
glass. He explained that maintaining a humidity level around 40% could help
alleviate this issue. We removed six screens for remaking due to defects,
including two that were wavy and had holes. We’ve replaced incorrect hardware
with the proper components and confirmed that your windows are operating better
after adjustments. We’re scheduled to return this week to deliver the remaining
two screens. Rest assured, your windows are not leaking, and we remain
committed to resolving any outstanding issues. Thank you for your patience.
