      Wonderful Customer Service. Dispatcher called back when the person he directed us to wasn't able to take our call. Then the driver called to let us know he would be delivering our stuff within the hour. Thank God customer service is still important to to some companies, and it appears to be to this company.       I believe R and L stands for real lousy. They texted that they were coming between 10 and 2 on Thursday, required confirmation and that someone had to be home. I replied, yes and got an automated confirmation. Thursday at 2 rolls around and no toilet, no nothing. I check the system online and it says its coming Friday with no time window. I call to ask what happened and say that I wouldnt be home. The response I got was, Good thing Im not in customer service because Im not going to flail myself for you. We dont need a signature, were delivering it anyway. I told them to put a stop to the delivery and I would cancel the order and get it delivered with another company. He says ok. Guess what? They delivered it anyway, left it outside our building ??.

      Terrible service cant even make the delivery in the eight hour window which is terrible anyways, but you still cant even make that I do not recommend them to anyone

      We have used R+L before without any issues, but all changed a couple of weeks ago. We received an unsolicited goods shipment from R+L a couple of weeks ago with all of the paperwork and shipment info addressed to us. Upon opening the shipment, it was clear that the order was sent by mistake, but legally at that point the order belongs to us and we ultimately wrote it off as a mistake by the carrier. After a couple of weeks, we started getting phone calls from the customer service office in Arizona and have been getting contacted by a customer service rep named Juanita. Juanita thus far has been extremely rude and unprofessional. I have communicated to her that given the situation, we are really unsure what we can offer R+L at this time, and ultimately it is a carrier mistake that they need to resolve and correct with whoever their intended end customer is. Juanita has essentially threatened to send a "security and legal" team to my home to do an investigation on the shipment, and this is completely unacceptable. You cannot send people to my home to trespass because you made a mistake. I don't understand how this business can allow themselves to deliver to a wrong address, then instead of working to correct their mistake, they harass their customers to fix the issue for them. This is what carrier insurance is for. I would ask at this time that the customer service team at R+L please leave us alone and work to resolve the issue themselves.

      if i could do less than a one star i would, i was just reaching out for additional information and the customer service rep was possibly one of the worst i have ever had to deal with. if his job is to prevent sales and prevent new clients than he is doing an amazing job. however, if he is there to secure sales and provide god information with aa smile, than he should be fired immediately with no severance pay. if i was his boss i would immediately fire him myself with a smile on my face knowing i would be getting rid of one of the major downfalls of my company. truly, the lack of actual customer service was baffling. i wasnt even able too get out why i was calling before being interrupted by being put on hold. when i finally got off hold, the only thing i was informed of was that the rep i was speaking to couldnt do anything for me. before being able to continue asking questions to find who would be able to help me, your rep chose to hang up. i will personally go out of my way to tell absolutely everyone i know to specifically never do business with R&L carriers specifically for this reason. absolutely unacceptable and i do hope with all my heart that you guys figure something out and cut ties with the rep that i spoke with.

      on Jan 20th, 2024, I ordered numerous parts from Summit Racing. All were sent *** ** except one item coming from Texas. On 1/24 I was notified by the carrier's local terminal (Ocala Fl) that the item would be delivered the next day on 1/25 and that an appointment window of 10am to 5pm was needed and I had to be there for delivery, I confirmed. The morning of 1/25 around 9am they called me and said the freight had not even left Texas yet and would need to reschedule appointment for 1/29. I called the local terminal and asked why they would set the appointment up when it had not left Texas and wasn't even at their local terminal. No real answer and said I needed to be there Monday the 29th to receive. I asked if they were going to reimburse me for my lost wages for the second day I had to take off for their mistake and they basically said sorry about your luck. I hope they know that some people can't afford to throw days at work away like that. So, I lost 20hrs of pay, around $700.00, plus I paid Summit an additional $168 for shipping fees (for R&L-everything else was free). I get the 1st day, but I got to eat the second because of their screw up? Garbage

      I ordered a functional trainer from *** ******* on Sunday 1/7 and it shipped from PA to rural MS in 49hrs from pickup to drop off. That’s faster than most ****** ***** orders I place and it came via nonstop trucks! The pallet was in great condition and the driver was kind enough to wheel it into my carport. I was skeptical of the service due to many lackluster reviews and Better Business Bureau ratings, but I cannot be more satisfied with my service today from my driver in Steens, MS. The pallet and packaging was in impeccable condition and all of the very expensive contents completely unharmed. Great job!

      Absolute terrible experience. I ordered a piece of equipment costing $3500. The shipper delivered the product to my residence with a lift gate operated box truck. The driver failed to use the lift gate and placed the freight at the rear of the vehicle. Said driver then gets back in the vehicle and accelerates. This causes the freight to slam top down on my concrete driveway. This caused substantial scratches and damage to the frame of the equipment. After doing so the driver the continues to leave while striking my mailbox on the way out. I submitted a claim and was absolutely low balled on the offer for damages and horrible experience with their company. The claims supervisor was extremely brash with the email I received. The whole incident was caught on a ring doorbell camera. I do not suggest using them as a carrier what so ever.
