Legal shield was pretty good until recently. I was inquiring about a trust with my sister. I was told they were not able to handle it because it's now conflict of interest because they are also dealing with my sister regarding the same thing. I find it very odd since I've been going to legal shield for the past 4 years recording my sister. However because now they're dealing with my sister too it's now conflict of interest. What I don't understand is I've already been dealing with them ********************************************************* and why not for my sister instead. Also I contacted them last week regarding this. First they told me I would get in somebody from the conflict reportment either sometime today or tomorrow. Then they said Thursday. Then they said Friday. It's now Monday afternoon and nothing. When you cool the conflict department nobody picks up the phone and you cannot even leave a message. When I call legal shield about it they do nothing. They said you have to complain to their conflict department.LegalShield

I am writing to file an urgent complaint against Legal Shield for their poor service and unprofessional conduct. I maintained a membership for over a year, seeking assistance with cyber harassment, cyberbullying, defamation, threats, and doxing. Despite providing evidence and correct information, Legal Shield failed to deliver the necessary legal support.There were significant delays as I was asked to research the violators myself. My case was mishandled, with attorneys refusing to review evidence properly and redirecting me to the police instead of providing the requested cease-and-desist letters. Attorney ****** **************** of ********* ***************** **, drafted a letter with multiple errors and omissions of key violations and was dismissive when asked for revisions. He stated " I can barely get through the recordings with all that profanity" Another attorney, ***********************, was aggressive "take it or leave it" and unhelpful.Whenever I call for additional questions or clarification, I find out that my case is passed to a new attorney without my knowledge or consent. When I requested to speak to a supervisor, my calls were not returned. After contacting customer service, I received a notice that my membership was canceled without explanation. This experience has been a nightmare, with abysmal customer service and no ******************** rendered.I request the Better Business Bureau to investigate this matter urgently and take appropriate action against Legal Shield for their unprofessional conduct. I seek a full refund of my membership fees and compensation for the distress and inconvenience caused.LegalShield

Though it is rare, there are some reasons a membership may be canceled per company option, whether by PPLSI or a PPLSI Provider Law Firm. This information can be found in any membership contract as well as online at: *********************************************************************. When a membership is canceled per company option, PPLSI notifies the member by a dated and signed letter, explaining the matter, and advising if any refund will be processed. If the Company cancels the Contract, Services will only be provided for those events reported in writing to the Provider Law Firm during the Eligibility Period. Terrible experience On Friday 07/19/24 set up two cases one for my wife *************-GN3-*** and one for my Son ******** GA-42PC-W8. I work Night Hours and am unable to take calls till the afternoon. I was supposed to receive return calls within 4 hours for both case intake numbers. IT appears that I received no calls during that period of time. I checked my phone Tuesday and had a voice message that attorney ********************* called me back at 08:40 am on Monday ******. Tuesday at 06:00 pm called the provider law firm and was inquiring as to the status of the cases. The person on the phone was arrogant and very difficult to deal with. I provided him the case intake numbers and my wifes case GA-GN3-*** he stated that she cancelled this case from her phone? My Sons case when I read him the case # GA-42PC-W8 he became very snappy and said he needs the numbers 3 digits at a time. I informed him that GA-42PC-W8 is the case intake that was provided to me on Friday and recited the case number e digits at a time as requested. . He abruptly stated that there is no case like that on the system. This Gentleman was so obnoxious on the phone. When I informed my Wife of this encounter she stated that no one should treat you in such a manner on the phone. She instructed me to cancel the policy. I cancelled the contract on 07/24/24 I would like a refund of my monthly fees of *****LegalShield

Horrible experience. They offer nothing of value. Customers are promised one thing but receive nothing in return. I am not even sure if I ever actually talked to an attorney. It doesn't seem like they even have paralegals answering requests because I have yet to receive legal support.The legal office assigned to me has an outdated list of lawyers claiming to specialize in various areas of law. I discovered this when I called to request a new attorney from the list after the original attorney failed to follow through with any promised service. Many of the lawyers on the site claim multiple specialties but really only focus on one or two at most. They mentioned they might have only one attorney who can help with my specific issue, which means if that attorney does not work out, you simply do not get help.LegalShield

I was in a medical emergency situation and my sister called November 2023 to cancel my account, unable to utilize. Got rude email saying only spouse can cancel, which is insane, as not everyone is MARRIED! So, csr said to call back if I wanted to re-instate. They continued to charge my acct $29.95 x 6 months, still even after another emails NO REFUNDS AFTER they asked for my sister's number to track calls down, which is AGAINST the law, she declined to provide her personal number to company she doesn't do business with. I called, emailed supervisor *******, no response, no return calls! I'm a senior with fixed income $179. is lots of money! So, filing a claim with BBB and will contact *********************** and contact news media and newspapers too!PLEASE note: as other reviews, they sent my letters to wrong addresses, sent Attorney claim letter to me not the guy that owed me money...then rude female attorneys LIED about the whole 60 days ordeal!DFW area is too big for sad, old colors at ************************************** ********, ** ....run, run away! I've been with LegalShield for over 10 years and I can say the level of service that you received 10 years ago versus today is drastically different. Today, July 9th 2024, I called in to ask for simple legal advice and not only was *************************** (****** spelled his name) one of the most rude individuals I've dealt with thus far, he did not answer my question, and refuse to answer my question. After over 10 years of service I am considering canceling and having my entire family cancel the service. This *************************** person is a poor excuse for an attorney.LegalShield

I went to one of their Las Vegas meetings as a guest to decide if I wanted to purchase their plan. While I was there I gave out some information on my company. I didnt know I wasnt supposed to not give out any information on my company. 2 of the charge persons of the meeting came and talk to me so rudely. Instead of saying please dont talk about your company here. I would have really understood. But they talk to me like I was a child. Im a senior citizen. I was considering to purchase their plan. I wouldnt purchase anything now from Legal Shield and any of my friends and family wouldnt. If their company person are that rude. They owe me an apology.LegalShield

Before I became an associate, LegalShield helped me when my daughter passed away. I had a membership. My grandsons were left in another state with a step-dad who only wanted their survivor benefits. I called LegalShield and spoke with an attorney who would cross the state lines and help me fight for custody. After a about 5-6 months the attorney went to court on my behalf and won the case. All I had to do was go and pick up my grandsons. These types of services were not $0 with the membership but because of the membership over $3,000 was cut from my legal fees. I have nothing but good to say about this company. Now I work with them and the integrity of the ones I work with are better than any other company I've ever worked for. For me this company deserves the A+ rating it holds.LegalShield

I had two accounts with ********************** and when I tried to cancel they requested written confirmation which I provided. I was told I was cancelled and they continued to charge my card on file for months. I called several more times to confirm my cancellation status which they said I was but yet I was charged yet again. I cancelled the card on file, now I am receiving emails stating I will be cancelled for no payment. This is a terrible service and would highly recommend no one fall victim to it. The sales process was shady as well. I expect a resolution immediately.LegalShield
