LegalShield's partnering law office in *****, **** and ********, has a long history of unprofessionalism. The reps that answer the phones are not courteous and it's been taking weeks for an attorney to call me regarding my issues even when I schedule I set time more than a week in advance. I've had to follow up multiple times regarding my attorney call for someone to finally call me back. I even asked for a manager to contact me and that never happened. In one instance when I was talking with one of the reps, it appeared that she was working from home and told what sounded like one of her kids to "shut the f*** up" while I was on the line with her. Very unprofessional!

About 3 weeks ago I tried to cancel my membership they transferred me to another department then from there I was given a phone number to call and listen to recorded message and from there I was given a web address to go to and explain why I would like to cancel , but to do all these took a while then I got side tracked and until now after 3 weeks I couldn't cancel my membership yet either I was forgetting or was getting busy mean while they auto charged my credit card for another month , until now it's been 5 month that i've paying $29.95 a month for a legal question that I had that they weren't even able to help me with . So why make it so difficult for us to cancel membership while it's so easy and fast to become a member just with a quick phone call ?LegalShield

Originally I was with prepaid legal that changed to Legalsheild. When I took the plan it was $9.99 per month for life. When it changed to Legalsheild it increased to $19.99 per month. When I complained it when back to $9.99 per month for a few months then back to $19.99 per month. Today I noticed it's now $29.99 per month. I was supposed to be $9.99 for life. Now I'm trying to cancel. Let's see how that works out.LegalShield

In consideration that 1 star=0 my rating is due to the fact that in the past I have appreciated the law firm that I was able to work with via my Legal Shield account. My experience just now was unfortunate. When I called in to inquire about the status of my account set up I discovered a very unhelpful prerecording, and then was talked over repeatedly with the customer service rep when I requested my refund.LegalShield

I have been a customer since 2017. I never had a ******************** issue until just recently and the experience was not very good. It looks like I will need to do my own research with legal action against a contractor that took a down payment on a job project and ran.I am definitely going to cancel this membership. I will do better putting away money and hiring my own personal lawyer. I hate to say this but its a waste of money. If I had of known all of these complaints here I would have never signed up in the first place. I am just appalled with a lot of companies altogether that want something for nothing. Nevertheless, scamming is so prevalent altogether and how they treat customers is mind blowing.LegalShield

It is a scam! All they want is your credit card number! I signed up one day and canceled the very next day without using their services at all. That's when I saw ********** true colors, he completely ignored my request for a cancelation number or to even acknowledge me at all...so happy I found out (by this website) they are dishonest, disgusting liars.LegalShield

BOY I have to give them a star??? I would give them ******!!!!!! Do not fall into this! I feel like this has been the dumbest decision I have ever made. I cancelled my first month's subscription and only received a partial refund. They did not help me at all with my legal matter and only wasted my time. I would not recommend them. This is a rip-off. They should get a very negative review. I noticed they have a lot of negative reviews. I don't think they care if they get negative reviews.LegalShield
