First they provided a completely wrong phone number to law firm. As a result I was not contacted for six weeks. I had to reschedule my court date because of this.When the correct phone number was provided the law firm in ******** repeatedly emailed me that my phone was blocking their number. I deleted all my blocked numbers and they continued to lie/tell me it was blocked.When I called the law firm I was told I could not talk to a lawyer. I filed a complaint with the ******** Attorney General Office.Their website says you cancel by phone. When I called I was told I had to cancel by email or mail. On top of that their message states I am responsible for verifying the cancellation. If possible I would rate them a negative number. This company is a fraud and should be sued. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE.LegalShield

I'm a deaf member of the Legal Shield since a long time. I didn't know that the Legal Shield's policy can't allow to provide their live ******** Sign Language interpreter to consult with any Legal Shield attorney at the law firm office since a long time. I can't understand some legal words without their live American Sign Language interpreter. Some Legal Shield attorneys have no patience to explain any legal clarification without providing their live American Sign Language interpreter over again. I still pay $29.95 per monthly since a long time.I tried to call the Legal ************************ to request a full refundable money back, but they failed to e-mail me for refundable money back to confirm and etc. Some Legal Service Customer employees gave me their different false names as of they still disconnected the phone over again. I required to pay $49.95 for Legal Shield Associate Services, but they never notified me that I have to pay $24.95 per monthly. They denied to refund money back $24.95 for 3 months. I feel unfair that they never to tell me that I have to pay $24.95 per monthly.I still pay Legal Shield member of $29.95 plus ****************** $24.95 per monthly to which I have to pay over $50.00 charges per monthly for nothing.e The Legal Shield **************** still violated American with Disabilities Law Act Effective Communication regulations for denying their live American Sign Language interpreter since a long time.Who will order the Legal Shield Customer must provide their live American Sign Language interpreter for any Legal Shield attorney consultation?LegalShield

Ive been a customer over 20 years. They helped on 3 tickets early on they got dismissed. Last time I called manager said they couldnt help because police have caught on to their tricks?A friend needed them for a suit against school district for an personally issue, ppl sent him a firearms lawyer who quit him before trial and said he needed a personal lawyer and charged him ****** for hours he had worked on case? Almost zero help.I wouldnt recommend this outfit to anyone And attorney general shouldnt allow them to operate in WashingtonLegalShield

This company misrepresents individuals and the reparations or compensation goes to the wrong individuals; I was called about getting funds back from my previous employer yet I never got the payment nor from medical, housing, business start up, dental, universities,employment , education, workers compensation or unethical conduct from various government entities pertaining benefits or compensation this and legal aid defender downtown ******* misrepresented individuals while the perpetrators were in the attorney general office or ****************** office, etc. It can be very challenging to get proper legal assistance in ******** or the free clinics on the internet or telephone phone, especially if it is compromised or you are dealing with those trained complete such task.LegalShield

We have had the services for over 15 years and it has been more than a lifesaver. Over the years, they have recovered thousands of dollar for ** from a contractor who did not perform to the agreement, insurance companies who were not paying claims, and even recovered personal injury damages from an unresponsive retailer.In addition there have been about 4-5 moving violations that never generated points on our driving records, not to mention the peace of mind we felt after getting our estate in order.LegalShield has been a blessing in our lives and I couldn't imagine living without it.LegalShield

1 starThis company is a joke! they take $40 a month out of my account and in 3 months I've had one lawyer call me and he wasn't even interested in my case at all. I don't even know why he called. 5 starsWe have used our LegalShield Membership several dozen times in the 17 years we have had it and it has been a life saver!! They have successfully defended ** in a civil lawsuit, helped us with traffic tickets to keep our insurance costs down, reviewed every document weve signed in 17 years, made phone calls & written many letters on our behalf, gotten warranties honored, gotten refund for us, deposits back, done our *****, Medical Powers of ********* ********* Powers of ********* and even protected us in the middle of the night when we had a traffic stop due to illegal profiling!! 2 starsI've been using LegalShield for years - I think since 2017 or something like that. I was recommended to them by a friend because I am a freelancer who has had to chase after clients to pay me and what has always been helpful has been lawyers from LegalShield reviewing my contracts and such. I also have subletted out my apartments for years and reviewing my sublease agreements and giving me advice on issues related to subletters has always been very helpful. I rarely use this service, but when I do use it, I've been happy I paid that monthly fee every month to be able to use it that one time during the year that I used it, for peace of mind. I haven't used this service in over a year and now I'm in a position where a subletter of mine is refusing to pay rent and I'm concerned she'll end up staying past her notice to vacate. I have multiple instances from this firm that prove that I've been able to get this kind of advice from lawyers at LegalShield. I'm not a business entity and I make zero money doing this. I'm just a regular New Yorker who needs roommates to survive. Now the first time I try to use this service in over a year they refuse me service unless I upgrade to a business account. I have documented cases that I have used this for similar concerns and yet they still refused me service. I called corporate over a week ago and they said they would advocate for me to still get service from a lawyer at my local firm for these purposes and I was told I would get a call and be able to speak to a lawyer the next day, but I didn't. I waited a week and called corporate again and all they could do was file a customer complaint where I'm supposed to get a call back. But this is not the only time I've had to chase down lawyers and be on top of LegalShield to get service. I just dealt with it because the advice was worth the hassle. But if I'm being refused service, I would like to get a year's refund for the months I never used the service.Review fromEdward D

1 starI was with them for ************************ ******** ******* where I used their services successfully on two issues, one personal and one for my business. I then moved to ********* ****** and needed law advise and found out the hard way that Legal Shield lawyers in ** were horrid! Because of my success using their services in ** I guess I held on out of loyalty for way longer than I should have. I just got off the phone with Destiny a representative of LS letting her know I still have two companies in ****** but now live in ****** and have started my third company and was willing to give them another chance for small needs and was told that LS is not willing to do anything about a credit, basically they took my monthly payments for years, for nothing and do not care either way.
