  I've been paying a membership for 2 years that I've used once. I Cancelled my membership in February by calling their member services number and also in writing via email. Which was difficult to do bc my account online said I had no active plan so I had no membership number to give to cancel it, but I was being charged. It was Frustrating. Anyway March I was never charged, I got a new bank card in March same numbers but different expiration date, and April 20th they charged my account. How? They just charged me again on May 13th..again How? I filed a dispute with my bank that they never should've allowed that payment with incorrect information and requested a completely new card. This is ridiculous. All this to cancel a service I don't use. I will add tho I did use the service 2 years ago and was very happy with the lawyer they found and their fast response. But canceling your membership is harder then preparing for court.

  Wish I could give them 0 stars been paying monthly for years then when I needed a adult name change for religious reasons the law office of ************* didnt show much concern on representing me to the fullest it was one hurdle after another I did most of the leg work the staff of paralegals were oblivious to my needs and the representative attorney (*********************) knew my entire history from ****************************************************************************************************** was the judge can do whatever she wants and dont need a precedent in her decision and good luck on a appeal as far as he was concerned case closed

  When we signed up for Legal Shield the representative told us our monthly fee would give us access to a lawyer should we ever need one. After 8 years the day came, we needed one. What they didn't tell us is the lawyer is out of the state. We spoke to him once, for 5 minutes. He was unsure about the laws in the state we live in. He was difficult to get a hold of when we had a question. One day before the trial he told us to visit a lawyer in our town. The in town lawyer had no clue why we were in his office; the Legal Shield lawyer didn't explain. Legal ***** charged us $2000. They explained the fee was necessary because they called a local lawyer to speak to us. $2000 to make a phone call and offer no real services.

  I've been their client for over 6 years and I needed their help with my landlord tenant issue. The lawyer form Feldman, Kramer & Monaco firm. The attorney Diane Barresi was taking care of my case and she provided me twice with the wrong information. The first one was regarding what kind of form I need to fill out. I sent her the paperwork for a review, at no point she mentioned that the form is not accepted in NYC courts. The NYC courts has a different forms to file. I traveled from far all the way to Brooklyn to find out that. Even after informing her that the clerk at the court refused to file my forms she did not admit that she made a mistake, instead she blamed the clerk. The second time her misguided costing me thousand of dollars. I asked what kind of form to file to evict my tenant and she completely misguided me, which cost my case to be dismissed by court and I had to start the process all over again. That "mistake" from the lawyer still causing me losses in thousand of dollars every month. Worse lawyers ever!!! LegalSheild doesn't want to even refund me the monthly fees that I paid them as a small compensation for the great damage caused me in this case.

  Watch out. Legalshield knows the ins and outs of credit card disputes and they make it impossible to cancel your monthly membership. I followed their instructions and canceled my membership by email on 1/9/23 and Legalshield never responded. They never charged my card in Feb. 2023, but charged my card again 3/10/23. It's a Catch22 because my credit card provider says show us proof that Legashield canceled your membership.

  Zero customer service so I wanted to cancel the membership. They refuse to cancel and insist that I email them at a ridiculous email that's easy to mistake. I requested they email me first so I could respond or copy/paste the email address. No, they wont do that. I emailed them after confirming the address. A week later I called to confirm cancellation and of course they indicate there has been no email received so I've sent it again but they will not confirm the email which means I have to call again in order to verify cancellation. They didn't require this to sign up but its h*** to cancel the membership. Horrible company.

  This company is a scam. They promised to offer services, but when time comes, they want to upsell and charge additional fees for anything and everything. Ive been a legal shield member since **** in *******, ********. I would recommend consulting a local attorney as issues arise instead of paying this monthly subscription for absolutely nothing

  This company is taking advantage of vulnerable people. I was desperately in need of a consultation and came across this company. I signed up for an account through their app and agreed to the service charge. Once account was created I was able to log in but unable to retrieve any membership access. I was not sent a code or any form of communications on what to do after. As a month has passed by they are still charging my account with no membership access or card info under my profile or account. Now I have to call them to find out what is wrong deal with the apparently rude customer service. What a scam!

  I was mistreated an called a liar from there lawyer. After 5 days I canceled my 44$ membership.Im so tired of these big companies taking from the little man. Now they say 15 days to review. But I was mistreated twice by them. Im so upset if these companies taking our money and not producing fair exchange. Im my book they are taking money for nothing. Why would I give you money to be mistreated.They are not right this is not fair. Everyone should have a grace ****** especially since you dont actually talk to their lawyers right away. They stick together so us underdogs have to also. Everyone deserves a grace ******. 44 $ to be mistreated no no we wont except stop patronizing these people.Its scams. They dont take time to find lawyers that care. Thanks
