      I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I had at Loves Travel Center, Store #***, located at ******************************************, on August 9, 2024. As a long-time customer and owner of a trucking business with over 25 years of experience, operating more than 50 trucks, I have always relied on Loves for its consistent service. However, this recent experience has left me feeling both robbed and disrespected.While traveling cross-country, I stopped at this location to fuel up. I went inside to prepay and was assisted by a clerk named *****. I requested $50 worth of diesel on pump 3 and confirmed that I wanted a receipt. However, when I went out to pump my fuel, the pump wasnt working. Upon returning inside to inform the staff, ***** consulted with the manager, a young blonde woman whose name I did not catch. Her response was not only dismissive but downright rude. She informed me that someone else had pumped fuel at a different pump and insisted there was nothing she could do about it. Despite my request for her to review the stores security cameras to verify my payment and the pump I was using, she refused and instead escalated the situation by threatening to call the police if I did not leave the premises.When the sheriff arrived, he informed me that there was nothing he could do to resolve the matter. The manager not only refused to refund my money or provide the fuel I had paid for, but she also requested that I be charged with trespassing if I did not leave immediately.I have never encountered such a distressing experience in all my years in the trucking industry. I feel completely robbed of my money, disrespected by the staff, and threatened by the management.I urge you to review the circumstances of this incident and take appropriate action.       There was a major air leak underneath the truck by the air dryer. So, I pulled over my truck at love's(see invoice # **********)The mechanic Diagnose, purge valve and brass fitting need to change due to line was cut from whatever flew up or hit it.Purge valve changed by the mechanic, and I left to my way. I notice that the problem still persists. So, I pulled over at second Love's Stop(Invoice # **********)I told mechanic that I have problem with air on truck. The pressure is keep increasing to 140.While normally air pressure is *******. when pressure reach to 125, Air governor valve Supposed to dump the extra air. The mechanic diagnoses the truck and took off discharge line and clean the buildup carbon & advise to get new air *********** compress. I states that the Air dryer new just 3 week old (See invoice # ****) As I left the shop the discharge line erupt. Mechanic told me its late I have to wait until morning. Next Day a different mechanic in the same shop diagnose(Invoice # **********) Mechanic change the discharge line and advise me to get new air *********** compressor. I pulled out the truck and headed to my way.But the problem still same pressure keep increasing to 140. I check with 2 mechanics over call. They advised that *** be the air governor valve not working.Prior to arrival to Volv dealer, the air compressor cylinder got damage (See Pictures). I arrive at Volv dealer ( See Invoice# ******) He advised whoever install the purge valve, it installed wrong. He found the air compressor bad due to system being over pressurized governor valve and blow out purge valve.I bought Governor valve for $70 and Volv dealer installed it Brief Note : The main issue from the beginning was air governor valve which was not working but love's mechanic make wrong diagnose 3 times which cost me $4699.89 USD.If it's been diagnose correctly at first site, I could have save air ******************** line cost.We are looking for refund for (Invoice # **********, ******).

      On 07/30/24 I made an appointment at 10:45 to get a DOT inspection done on my truck. We were called into bay 3 at 14:36 over a 3 hour wait. Once in the bay mechanic requested we exit our truck, my husband informed mechanic that unfortunately he was in a wheel chair and blew his tire when we delivered that morning. I exited the truck and went and sat in the office. ****** the supervisor came in and muttered under her breath and I heard wheelchair, and several mechanics came in and proceeded to play on their phone, joke and laugh for a good 30 minutes. I got the feeling nothing was being done on our truck and temperature outside was 109. I didnt bring my phone with me so I went back to the truck to get it and my husband informed me they have not started on the truck yet and its getting hot.I returned to office and I guess they did not realize I was the wife of the man claiming to be in the wheelchair outside! I call *** rights to inquire about my husbands rights of disability in a place of business and by this time its an hour and a half!Long story short, being prior military my husbands PTSD kicks in and he starts yelling for a manager, ****** was no help, stating at first that she just got clearance to work on truck. An hour and a half wait for clearance? Then tells my husband why dont he just leave and he said he will and she pulls the chock and walks away knowing he cant get keys to truck for its locked up! In the office I was told they will start work on truck! So I waited another hour and a half! Meanwhile **** a mechanic comes in and made fun of my husband and I said thats my husband your talking about and he served 8 years in the army and **** said so what! I asked about why truck is not worked on and was told by ****** you were told to leave & I replied you stated truck was going to be worked on and she just shrugged. We lost a load for this and a loves #*** completed inspection and allowed my husband to stay in truck!

      Because of the neglection and unprofessionalism, this company caused a great deal of trouble to my truck. I changed oil at this company on June 29, and 2 days later my tuck broke down on the high way because of a cracked oil filter, and oil leaking. I had to spend $811.29 for towing and another $855.92 to fix the oil leak and fuel filter. I've been a Love's member for 2 years and I've changed oil hundreds of times this is the first time I got SCREWED by an unprofessional mechanic from LOVE'S

      So Im a little upset with the loves location on *************************************************************************** at the ***** location inside loves twice I have been denied service after they were telling me they are opened *********************************************************************** cause their registers were resetting what kind of excuse is that why would a register reset if your opened 24 hours and the next day I did the same thing was denied service no one was answering when I said hello is anybody here so I took off upset and that is bad customer service and this is by I wont ever work fast food or retail cause this is not how u treat ur people that are trying to buy food very unprofessional hope this changes or else I wont be returning

      They tresspassed me there for no reason the security guard was a joke and was very disrespectful all I want is an apology for how rude they were the manager that works at ***** is super rude very disrespectful and ignores u when u say hello they totally dogged me big time multiple times when I was at the restaurant I only was talking a bunch of c*** and said Im glad I dont work retail or fast food its because the working class people have a bad work ethic at the particular location and they are way rude the general manager trespassed me because he said I was being rude and I wasnt I was just upset when the registers got reset that I had to go elsewhere they whole ********** isnt nice at all same with loves the people are rude I ask all the time if ***** is opened and they said yes dude they are opened and give me a dirty look but its ok if they dont want me going there no more thats fine Ill just turn them into the American arbitration association for the disrespect I have been getting from that particular location its crazy to think that u can trespass some one like that its a joke

      They are scammers. They had charged me for something that is not part of there job. I was at another repair shop where i got new coolant and when i came to Loves truck stop they had spilled all of it. Telling me that now i have pay $153.99 for new coolant which i am not suppose to pay again for when i got it done this morning. They are very unprofessional and will do other things to get money. I am overcharged for no reason and not my fault. Tried to talk to the manager and he wasnt friendly or helpful at all. For anyone out there needing work on there truck dont go to Loves truckstop. They are the worse and literally dig for extra money.

      On 6/10, we filled our car at the Love's Travel Stop #*** in *****, AL at about 12:40pm. Within 10 miles, our check engine light started flashing and our car was stalling, lunging, and misfiring. We were fortunate to find Car City Auto Sales in ********* about 17 miles away and I doubt we could have made it much further.The needed repair was consistent with problems from bad or contaminated gas. It required the replacement of 3 spark plugs and coils as well as one fuel injector. We were forced to spend the night in a hotel in ***** while the repair was completed.We were en route from ***** ** to ********* for a funeral. Prior to leaving, we had our oil changed, transmission serviced and new tires installed. Our ***** Odyssey was in tip-top shapeprior to 6/10. We were too fearful of additional problems that might be incurred if we went ahead on our journey to ** because we still had a tank full of questionable fuel so we turned around and headed back to *******. We booked a flight which was the only way to be there for our family during this difficult time.Now that we are back home, we drove the car a total of 25 miles since returning from *******. The check engine light again came on. We had to wait to get it into the mechanic where its been for three business days now. They did a compete tune up, replacing all the spark plugs and coils again. However, the engine is still misfiring as if there is permanent damage and they havent been able to resolve it. I'm attaching credit card proof of purchase because their pump was out of paper.I know that some time has passed since this occurred and the possibility of finding contaminated gas at the Loves in ***** is unlikely. However, it doesnt change the fact that we have suffered greatly from our transaction there and it is appropriate that some agency is aware of our situation. I wouldn't be surprised to find complaints from others experiencing the same problem at the same station.

      I am rejecting this response because there was no response.  After forwarding my complaint to another **** within Love's, I received a call on Monday 7/8/24 from ******************* (?) which I could not answer immediately.  I returned the call within 5 minutes but received his voicemail.  I left a message asking for a return call.  I left messages again on July 9 and July 11 asking for a response.  I received no further communication and no effort toward a solution.

      Furthermore, my vehicle is still at the mechanic shop because the source of the misfiring is still unknown.

      I am in receipt of your letter dated July 15, 2024. On or around June 10,2024, ***************************** purchased fuel at our Loves Travel Stop #*** in *****, ***

      After a thorough review,we are unable to find any issues with the unleaded gasoline at this location.We received no other complaints, have no known issues, and have no indication of any water or debris in our unleaded gasoline. This information was provided to ************************ via a phone conversation on July 12, 2024.

      Furthermore, the State of ****************** of *********** & Industries Weights and Measures conducted a internal investigation on our fuel at this location on 7/5/2024. Their results yielded the same conclusion that our investigation affirmed. I have attached also the results to this response.

      Utilizing this information we did not offer any compensation to ************************. Should you have any questions or need additional information, please dont hesitate to contact me using the information below.

      I went to SpeedCo in ************* IL on 6-21-2024 to replace fuel filter. When I was told it was replaced, tried starting my truck but it would not start. The mechanics there tried starting it for 4 hours but without success. When they had no solution on how to start it, they told me to call towing, but I refused since trucking was running completely fine before coming to Speedo, and they called police. Three police SUVs showed up and I was told I had to call towing to move the truck out of the bay. I called the tow company and incurred first tow charge of $500. This was late Friday, and it was too late to tow to the shop. The truck was towed on 6-2-24 to Truck Centers in **** IL and I incurred additional charge of $250 for total tow of $750.Once TruckCenters started working on the truck, they saw that tab on the bottom of fuel filter was broken off and that truck needed new fuel filter module. I incurred a cost of $3303.72 for this repair and I have attached the proof of payment to Truck Centers. I was also under a load while I was there, and load could not be delivered to ********* and I lost $2400 there. please see that document attached as well. I was not able to work for full 7 days while truck was fixed so i lost additional $2000 on load back to STL. Total amount with towing, repair, lost load, and down time is $8453.72 My expectation from Speedco is to refund me this amount in full. If they do not, I will hire an attorney to handle this matter.

      I purchase a recap tire from loves , and I use for 2 days the tire explodes and I bought back they gave me another tire ! The second one less about 2 hours! So I have to purchase another one from them !! NOT A RECAP ONE THIS TIME AROUND ! But the issue is when the second tire exploded on my truck it damage the mud flat , brake signal lights and wing plate of the truck ! I tried innumerable different times contact wit them , no one has call back !

      I reach out to the corporate office and spoken to ***********************-*************************************** in *************** regarding the false charges of the work that wasn't performed by two of the Loves 'Travel Stop. After further investigation he stated he would reimbursed me $873.23 which I never received and he has never returned my email or phone calls. I also stated I would recommend that the cost of the radiator in the amount of $1.258.74 and the labor expense in the amount of $955.45 be refunded since the other location never correctly repaired which caused me to replace it within 2 weeks of the previous invoice refund that has been exhibited in the prior email which shown discrepancies from Magees location -************************************************ regarding the following company compliance and practices. I would like the $3,087.43 to fully refunded.Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.Thanks,******************************* ************

      Our team found that the additional repairs needed were not due to the radiator replacement the customer initially had completed with us. We are reimbursing the customers for 2 road calls after we worked on her radiator as a customer service. The customers check for $873.23 was mailed out on Wednesday 6/26/24.
