I'm ower operator truck driver I was buying a alternator not even 26 day I have issues with alternator I buying at one they store I was paying $489 and now they say it's no warranty on parts because they not installed I feeling like cheated I call the Corp they said is nothing they can do about now I have to spend another $500 to get another alternator that's not fair for costumer and not right because they never tell me it's no warranty on parts.Business Response

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding an incident that occurred today at Love's store #***.Earlier today, I took a shower at your facility and accidentally left my AirPods inside. May 23,2024 i went to store 0881 Diamond, OH Speedco , i got two air bags replaced. June 12 one of the airbags went bad. We called the general manager and asked if the customer was banned and he said an assault incident with a security guard was never brought to managements attention. My boyfriend and I stopped at Loves for gas on 5/6/2024. The first pump we went to was not working after we had already inserted card so canceled payment and went to another pump. We fueled up $93.20 but my card was charged an addition $100.49 and the charge did not drop off. I tried to dispute with my bank but they said I needed to contact the merchant directly. When I did so, they stated they could not look that far back so there was nothing they could do and suggested I dispute with my bank. Loves Store, at ******************************************************************One of the employee's ***** was allowed to bring her young daughter to work and she was sitting near the atm by herself. That day I went to the **** *****'s daughter started speaking to me and asked if I could purchase her some candy. When I got to the register, (the employee) ***** who was checking me out, I'd buy her daughter some candy and she screamed and yelled at me. I informed her it was ok I didn't mind, she screamed at me again, left without checking me out, walked outside leaving me and her daughter alone in the store. ****** the general manager walked in from being outside smoking and said" oh, her daughters allergic to candy." Not even an apology. Today I went in to use the **** when I walked in ***** began to welcome me into the store until she seen it was me and then proceeded to say nasty words. I didn't reply I just needed to use the *** I walked over and as I was using the ***; ***** and her co-worker ***** began singing calling me a "vagina" and other dirty words. I left the store.****** didn't care when I told her ***** was selling brownies with illegal psychedelics in the parking lot.I was there when ***** took off her shirt and threatened to fight the night shift employee.The night shift employee ***** had his girlfriend who did not work there coming in cleaning, preparing the food, stocking, checking people out. When I told the regional and asked about safe preparation standards, her response was the girlfriend worked at a Love's in another town. I had to laugh because all I could think of is the liability and the law suit the girlfriend could have against Loves and her illegal off the clock work.The one sink for employees to wash their hands to prepare food was broken for 2 weeks. The health department could have shut that down if they had been called. Customers go without straws, lids, sugar, i.e. because ****** the general manager wants her bonus, not the store in order.Business Response

The customer was contacted on 5/24/24 with an apology and assurance their concerns regarding the manager on duty not caring or acknowledge the customer's feelings towards the cashiers calling her names and allowing an employee to bring her child to work, as well as allowing someone who is not employee to work inside the store, along with the un-stocked items will be addressed immediately. Her concerns were escalated to the district and operations managers over the location and they will investigate and address at store level.

We purchased what was listed as 87 minimum octane gas from Love's Travel Stop at *********************************************************** on 4/30/24. We filled the almost empty tank with a total of 27.6 gallons of gas. On our way home we noticed the truck sputtering. We don't use the truck as a daily driver so we parked it at home. We took the truck straight away to our mechanic shop two days later to have it looked over. Our mechanics shop is Ferg's Garage located at ***********************************************************************. **** had some family trouble so he didn't get to it right away. Once he was able to get to the vehicle he found out the gas in the tank was measuring North of 85% ethanol. I contacted Love's on Thursday May 16th to file a complaint about the gas. I was told we were going to be given an investigator. I was called the same day. I was told there would be an investigation. I received a call yesterday, Wednesday May 22nd from the investigator. She said they found no other complaints so they won't admit any blame. I'd like to report this to whomever can help to set things straight. Thanks for your time. Q1Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I Received an email from ************************* on Tuesday May 28th where he stated, "Unfortunatly, this does not appear to be a Love's fuel issue."
I've attached his email to this response for all to review.
My biggest issue is that there was an issue with the fuel we purchased and nobody's seemingly cares. Everything from Love's end so far has been about covering their own end and not caring about our horrible experience and not doing a thurough investigation. I'm glad there is a place such as the BBB to voice our concerns.

I am an Owner Operator and use Loves factoring and I spend thousands on fuel a month. Since using this service the entire team, mainly Lexi have been the rudest most unhelpful people I have ever experienced in my professional career. They allowed my driver to open a fuel account without my consent under my business Name and info and now refuse to give me information regarding that account. I have asked to end the contract but they refuse to end it. I would like someone who is a supervisor of this department to contact me other than **** and ****** as both of them have been of no assistance and have been rude, talked over me, disrespected me. This is not acceptable. I want this contract to ended I do not wish to ever so business with Loves again they do not follow through on their side of the contract. They left us stranded in ********* with no Fuel and did not care one bit. I will never use or recommend this company to anyone. I have reached out to ********* for a second time. I didn't get any response when I first tried to call and left the detail voicemail. Explained to *********, she is not listed on our contract as an authorized party. Explained this is the reason why she was not receiving communication. We were only providing information regarding the account with the individual we have listed on the contract, which is her husband. No other person is listed on the contract, which gives us the permission to communicate account details. Being there are no balances owed for this account and they only factored with us 1 time, we will be releasing them from the contract. Confirmed with ********* and she disconnected the call.
