Date: 12/26/2023 Details:I purchased a full tank of gas at Loves truck stop in *******,**.About 3 *********** from the station, my engine began to fail at highway velocity. If not for my quick response there would have been a serious accident. Fortunately, I turned on my hazard lights and directed my vehicle to the shoulder. I was able to get the vehicle restarted and continued down the highway; however, the engine cut out several times. I exited the highway a few miles further, and pulled into a service station. There a mechanic advised that it was bad gas, and assisted me in siphoning the tank, putting in some fuel system cleaner and filling up with a new tank of gas. The engine sputtered a few times afterwards, which I was told was the remnants of the bad gas from Loves, but after a few minutes, I observed that the engine began to operate normally. And the problem did not recur.In early January after returning from my trip to Green ****** ,**. I called the Loves station to lodge a complaint and request a refund for the bad gas.The store manager told me that I would have to call Corporate. Corporate turns out to be an automated system, and there is no way to lodge a complaint or request reimbursement.The only way to submit my complaint was using their website, which I did. After nearly a month and only sporadic communication from Loves, I received an email denying my claim.It was a form letter in which Loves denied any culpability. I repeatedly corresponded with Loves asking for the correct name and address of their statutory agent, so as to serve legal process. This request went unanswered.Business Response

Our contract with Love's Solutions, LLC ***************** ends on February 10th **** A Non-Renewal-Notice were sent in advance. I understand that the factory can not release two brokers who have outstanding balances, but they deny to gives a Release Letter with the exception of these two brokers. We can not paralyze a company, we need to continue working and paying the drivers.We need the Release Letter from the *************** date on February 10th, **** to be able to keep working, Booking Loads and Collect the payments directly from the brokers right after our contract expires. We do not want to renew this contract because of the terrible customer services and the uncompetitive ********* Fee of 3.5%. On 01/25/2024 I purchased a garmin gps model otr710 at loves #***. 15 minutes after my purchase I opened the box, inside was the garmin model otr700, not the otr710. The serial number is different from my receipt. The components included in the box would not fit the gps. I took the gps back into the store and pointed out that it was not what I paid for. I asked to exchange it for the correct model. The manager on duty refused. I asked to be refunded. The manager again refused. I called the police and was told it's a civil matter. The following morning I brought it back into the store and the general manager said I had to contact the corporate office in *************. Again I called the p ol lice and was told it's a civil matter. I contacted the corporate office and was told I could exchange the gps for the correct model in **********************, however ********************** Loves had not been informed from corporate office and would not exchange the gps. Over the next several days I contacted the corporate office asking for a refund. I was told to sell the gps on **** and I would recieve $300. In store credit. I rejected that offer and asked for my refund. *** in customer service department assured me the matter would be resolved as she turned the case over to **** in refunds and credit department. Ultimately **** responded to me on 02/01/2024 and jovially stated that Loves would not refund me and I should file a claims dispute with my bank. I have my receipt, the gps, the box and all the components. This item is brand new and has never been activated. This ordeal has caused enormous stress and cost me thousands of dollars in lost wages, not including the price of the gps. Loves corporation is engaging in terribly unethical business practices and blatant fraud. I am respectfully requesting to be fully reimbursed and I'm requesting that Loves Corporation be investigated for willfully deceiving its customers.Business Response

The customer first contacted us about this issue on 1/26 through email and phone. Through email, he asked to be fully reimbursed for the cost of the product and to be compensated for lost wages. He also called and asked to have an exchange done at a different location. While we were gathering further details, the customer attempted to exchange the product on 1/30 at the ****************** location. We offered the equivalent of the price for the product in rewards points so the customer would be able to purchase a new product, but this offer was denied. We went ahead still added $300 worth of loyalty points to the customers rewards account. We also offered to mail the customer a Love's gift card so he could buy a new GPS and this offer was also denied. The customer refused these resolutions. On 1/31, he spoke to us and advised that he no longer wanted an exchange because he bought the product he wanted at a different store. He was now requesting a full refund on his debit card. We informed the customer on 2/1 that we would still be able to offer a gift card or rewards points equivalent to the value of the product, but this resolution was rejected.Initial Complaint

1/31/2024 $18.00 SAFE AND SECURE SHOWER SERVICES I PURCHASED A SHOWER W/ THE CASHIER AT THIS LOCATION I WAS PLACED IN SHOWER #4 THE **** I WAS PROVIDED WOULD NOT WORK SO THE CLEANING LADY LET ME IN UPON ENTRY I IMMEDIATELY NOTICED THERE WAS NO LOCK ON THE DOOR I ADDRESSED THE MANAGER ON DUTY TO ADVISE THAT IS NOT SAFE OR SECURE AND ASKED FOR A OCCUPIED SIGN TO BE PLACED ON THE DOOR BUT SHE WOULD NOT PROVIDE ONE AND STATED THE DOOR WILL BE LOCKED FROM THE OUTSIDE AND NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO GET IN AS I WAS FULLY UNDRESSED PREPARING TO SHOWER A MAN ATTEMPTED TO ENTER MY SHOWER WITH A ****!!! HE WAS LITERALLY ABLE TO OPEN MY DOOR!! I IMMEDIATELY GOT DRESSED AND APPROACHED THE MANAGER ON DUTY WHO WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE ME THE DECENCY OF TURNING AROUND TO ADDRESS MY CONCERN AND STATED its an app issue WITH NO REGARD TO HOW MY SAFETY AND SECURITY WAS BREACHED!! IN THIS DAY AND AGE OF SEXUAL ASSAULT AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING ANYTHING COULD HAVE HAPPENED!! It was November 17, 2023 7:30p.m we arrived at ******** Fife Loves travel stop to clean up, use the restroom and get something to drink I had been working , mechanicing on a truck all day . So I entered Loves and went straight up front and asked for the restrooms and was instructed where they were so I headed to them. I was only in there for a few minutes and there was knock-on the stall and it was the security officer from Loves telling me I needed to exit the stall I asked him to wait a few I was a bit busy and he said no I needed to come out now if I didn't want any trouble. So I pulled my pants up and exited the stall and asked the guy what was the problem . He informed me the manager had recognized me and knew I was trespassed and I needed to leave immediately I told him not me I have never been here he said well my manager says otherwise I asked to see the manager he told me no she was busy as he's ******* me out the store. I get outside and tell my wife and she can't believe what I'm telling her so she gets out of the car goes in goes to front counter asks for manager and was brought to the manager. Now I'm native American and I was black head to toe with grease from working all day and my wife is blond hair blue eyes, so she meets the manager and asks what the problem is and she informed her I was trespassed and my wife told her your wrong we never been here before she said I'm not wrong my wife asks the name of the individual and to see picture she had been looking at to recognize me and she was refused. Again my wife told here she is mistaken we had never been in the store ever and that what they just did to her husband was wrong and disrespectful, racist and she couldn't believe being treated like that and being denied access to the name or picture made us think they just saw him all dirty thought he was homeless or something. So I file a formal complaint and nothing ever came of it I I think they owe us more then apology now.Business Response

Every time I go to Loves Truck stop for semi truck or trailer repairs there is under experienced mechanics working. The job gets charged but no one completes the job correctly.Business Response

I'm a local driver that my company only uses loves for fuel so I'm in the ***************** loves everyday. On 12/21/23 I got my merchandise an left after fueling. Later noticing something wasn't right with the amount charged to my debit card I looked at the receipt an was over charged $53.64 my total was $158.31 but $211.95 was charged to my debit card. When I came back through that evening the night manger told me to get ahold of corporate because it wasn't right. I filed a claim on 12/22/23 didn't get any response until I called on 1/2/24 an was told it was a valid charge. I went back through my loves receipts an have been over charged a total of $264.24 over 15 different transactions. Still haven't gotten any other information an it is now 1/9/24.Business Response

I have a Love's Express Account and was offered to factor with ***************** ****** of **************** contracted me. I filled out the application and was told by ****** to cancel my factoring company which I did back in July of 2023. I have a UCC filling that they claimed they could not find. I wanted to return to my old ****************** and I was told by my former ***************** that I needed a release letter from ***************** I contacted ****** took him months to return my calls. I spoke with ****** in November 2023 and he told me that to be released I have to pay Love's $500 for the release letter. I stated to him that I was still in the process stage and never factored a load with them so why did I have to pay? He stated I have to pay the $500. I tried to speak to a supervisor but I have been getting the run-around as of today 01-09-24 still no release letter and still can not get a supervisor on the phone. Everyone in **************** and his office told me it's up to ****** to release me and I can not speak to a Supervisor. I am a Diamond Love's Rewards Member, someone hacked into my account and used all of my ***** points. Points were returned by Love's as a one-time offer. My account was hacked again and I was told that I was not the only one this was happening to. I received a text that they can not return my ***** points because it was returned once already. I stopped fueling at Love's and right now I am still without a factoring company because ****** refused to release my company from *****************Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: As of this date 01-13-24 no one from Love's as contacted me in regards to my complaint. It is my opinion and believe that they are stalling so the time can run out on this complaint against them. I wishes to move forward on publishing my complaint for other Trucking companies to see how Love's take care of there truckers who are loyal to Love's. I am a Diamond Rewards member meaning I purchase over **** gallons of diesel each month and uses there Speedco location for maintenance. My Love's Rewards account also was hacked and I am still waiting on a response.

I applied for insurance through my employer they are taking out an incorrect amount of money ey from my checks each week and refuse to allow me to cancel my insurance through them since they won't fix said issue and instead are continuing to increase the amount of money they are stealing from my check each week I have pay stubs printed and also a documentation of what was concented to be taken out from my checks my benifits being only 40 a week should it of applied correctly but I'm not the only one at my place of employment that this business has done this too I have proof of my concerns and will further more reach out to them Monday during their business hours to again try to simply cancel my insurance over the phone I really would take just canceling my insurance effective immediately and not have to worry about it but they are stealing money from their employeesBusiness Response
