I had my tires balanced at Les Schwab February 19th because my car was a little shaky, after they balanced my tires I noticed no difference what so ever and gradually over the months the shaking got worse and worse. So today I went to get two new front tires thinking that will help stop the shaking and they told me my lug nuts on one of my front tires was hand tightened and he was surprised my tire had not flown off by now. Les Schwab was the last person to touch my tires so how is this possible anyway I call Les Schwab and talk to the Manager and he tells me if it that did happen my tire would of fell off months ago and paper work says they were tightened, well of course it says they were tightened, he then says could of been from my tires being bad which is not even a possibility. I then asked "did my tires really get balanced" because the same issue continued and slowly got worse so if they were loose they should have been tightened after the tires were balanced so in my opinion my tires never got balanced or nuts were not tightened and Id like a refund or something done, he said thank you for bringing it to my attention and ended the conversation by saying that multiple times, no sorry your family could have been seriously injured or nothing just denied, denied, denied. I'm disappointed and will never return there for services.

I brought my truck in and when it was returned to the parking lot it was parked way over almost off the property and when I got into it minutes later the catalytic converter had already been removed. They claimed it happened in the few moments before I got the key. But the officer I filed the report with thinks possibly an employee was involved just because of the speed with which it happened and where it was parked. There are no cameras or surveillance at this property. The owner will take no accountability and didnt even apologize. I just want it replaced and or a credit or written apology, because this happened while they had possession of my vehicle , in there parking lot during hours..

We purchased new tires and wheels at ****** Les Schwab on November 5th 2021. My husband had a flat tire this morning just 5 miles from ****** Les Schwab. When he called they told him they couldn't come to him to help. He then put the spare on himself and called to get the flat repaired. He was told they could not help him. He had to drive to Lewiston Les Schwab to be helped. They told him the tire had a bulge and could not be repaired. The mileage on the tire is about ***** miles and only 9 months old. They charged us for a ******** at 50% tread. I called ****** Les Schwab to discuss the quality of tires they are selling based on this being a towing vehicle. They said it was a 10 ply tire which is one of the most durable tire they sell. Im concerned for the safety of our family and belongings since these tires can't seem to last and pose a potential serious accident. They did nothing but make excuses, saying they are short staffed and can't really say why the tire didn't last.

We regret that Mr. and Mrs. ***** had a negative experience at the ******, Idaho Les Schwab Tire Center as a result of his observance of an incident with another customer.  We take customer reports seriously and diligently work to immediately address customer concerns.
According to *********************** records, Mr. and Mrs. ***** contacted the ****** tire center and requested someone come to their home to do a flat repair. The technician informed them they had a higher than normal wait time. Mr. and Mrs. ***** were not willing to wait so Mr. ***** installed a spare tire; the tire center did not refuse service to them. When they arrived at the tire center, they again had a higher wait time than they were willing to wait so they went to the Lewiston tire center.  ************ tire center warrantied the tire at 67% based on the remaining tread on the tire, not 50% as the customers report states. ************ tire center also ultimately credited Mr. and Mr. ***** the remaining 33% for road hazard as a sole gesture of customer service.
Although ********************** respectfully disagrees with the allegations in her report and are unwilling to resolve her concerns for what she asks, we would like to assure Mr. and Mrs. ***** that Les Schwab remains committed to providing the best service and products possible.

I am rejecting this response because false information....unless you are calling us liars then your ****** branch is providing inaccurate information. Yes we were refunded the next day but only because I filled out a survey, the manager from ************ Les Schwab told my husband that had he been there to inspect our tire that day, he would have not charged us. It was obvious that the tire was destroyed at no fault of ours. Im still feeling lack of confidence driving on these tires that tow our camper and side by side.

We regret the customer had a negative experience at the *******, ********** Les Schwab tire centers.  We take customer reports seriously and diligently work to immediately address customer concerns.
According to *********************** records, on July 5, 2022, ****************** brought two tires to the ******* South tire center. The tires were mounted on wheels, but not to a vehicle. The tires were damaged with what appeared to be consistent with damage from off-roadingthere were also sticks in the sidewall of the tires. ****************** informed the tire center that he previously purchased the tires at that location. The tire center technician honored the Les Schwab warranty policy for the two tires and gave ****************** a road hazard adjustment of 31% and credited his retail credit account. ****************** then went to the other ******* tire center with two different damaged tires and requested the tire center honor the warranty as to these two tires and credit his retail account. The store assistant manager assisting ****************** determined there were holes intentionally drilled into the sidewall of both tires and denied the warranty for the two tires. At the time, the assistant manager noted that there were four new tires mounted to ******************** vehicle that were purchased from a competitor.

On 7/23/22 I took a couple of flat tires from my Circle J horse trailer to the ****** **. Les Schwab dealership. I had them replace the tires which is not at issue (price, workmanship, etc.) but upon trying to back out of an extremely small and tight parking space at the dealership I struck a massive and dangerous to any customers in like circumstances concrete post. There are a series of these massive and dangerous posts directly in front of the dealership entrance and constitute an extreme danger to the customers even the several handicapped parking spaces near where I parked my 2017 Dodge Ram **** 4x4 are located in the same area. When I got to the dealership at **** hours there was an empty parking space beside where I parked my truck and a concrete island on the other side. When I got ready to leave there was now a vehicle parked in the space adjacent to my truck. An Les Schwab employee, *************************** assisted me in putting the trailer tires back in my truck bed and at no time did she warn me about the inadequate backing distance for a larger truck like my Dodge **** from these parking spaces. There is also absolutely no warning about the inadequate backing distance or a parking space ****ing like "compact vehicles only" which I have seen at a number of other businesses that I frequent and of course do not park in them. The concrete posts are below the rear view mirror with a tailgate and are black plastic covered not red or orange to better **** them. When I got out of my truck after I struck the post **************** told me that this "happens all the time" (to customers that park in these dangerous and inadequate clearance spaces). There was no way I could safely back out of the parking space with the vehicle parked next to me and the concrete island on the other. On Monday 7/25/22 I talked to the store manager *********************** who stated that it was an inadequate and hazardous situation there for customer parking but could not get the company to address it

As Mr. ****** report states he visited the tire center on July 23, 2022, in his **** F350 Dually pickup with no tailgate. While backing out of the parking space, he backed into a  concrete post that protects the front of the store, damaging the bumper of the pickup. Les Schwabs employees submitted an incident report to Les Schwabs ************************ (Risk) on Mr. ****** behalf. After a thorough investigation and witness interviews, it was determined the parking spaces and concrete posts are built within ********** Code and specifications and no other incidents of customers backing into the posts have ever been reported to Risk.

      Complaint: 17659865

I am rejecting this response because:  Further Comment:  I would much appreciate it if BBB would accept a complaint from me against the ****** ********** at Les Schwab Corporate Headquarters for blatant lies about the incident that I reported concerning the damage to my 2017 Dodge Ram **** 4X4 rear bumper.  First of all I do not own a **** F350 truck with duallys and no tailgate I own the above described vehicle and although I did have the tailgate on the truck the day of the incident to keep my two horse trailer tires from falling out during travel I usually leave it off as pictured in the bumper damage photograph due to getting better mileage without the wind drag the tailgate causes in order to get better fuel mileage on the truck.  Second of all Risk did not respond in a timely manner it has been approximately two weeks that I have been waiting for a response from them.  Third and most importantly, Risk states that they talked to the "witnesses" and obviously the dealership and the manager *********************** who told me that he had been in communication with them and was forwarding all my relevant documents to them and Risk states that NO ONE ELSE had "reported" the problem to them with customers backing into the described concrete posts which is a total and complete lie as the"witness" **************** told me that "it happens all the time" (customers backing into these posts due to the inadequate and dangerous lack of backing distance up to these MASSIVE concrete posts).  The store manager *********************** who also had been in contact with Risk also told me that it was a common occurrence for customers backing into these concrete posts but that he could not get Les Schwab Corporate HQ to make the necessary parking lot changes to insure customer and employee safety.  This behavior is totally unacceptable and suggests fraud on the part of Risk Les Schwab and I really do not appreciate being treated in such a fraudulent and rude manner.  Please consider posting all of my comments publicly as customers should be aware how much the professionalism at Les Schwab once their hallmark and the reason that we bought tires, batteries, chains etc.  for our horse ranch vehicles, trailers and other equipment for some 30 years has GREATLY DETERIORATED.   I welcome the opportunity to have **************** and ************** testify in Small Claims Court about the incident along with Les Schwab Risk's comments as Risk should be totally ashamed of themselves and I feel a calling to protect other consumers in this matter.

      Sincerely,

      *******************

We apologize for the mistake about the **** versus Dodge. In this particular case, we reviewed photos of the damages, photos of the area the incident took place in, and the actions of our employees. Les Schwab personnel were not in control of the vehicle at the time of the incident, and the construction of the parking lot is in accordance with applicable laws, codes, and restrictions. We found no evidence of negligence on the part of Les Schwab Tire Centers or our employees and must respectfully deny responsibility for the damage to your vehicle.

We are sorry we cannot offer you any further assistance and trust you will understand our position in denying your claim.

I brought my car into the **** ****** Les Schwab on 5/19/22 to have my rear brakes done. Since then I've been back 3 times with issues on my rear brakes. The problem is my brake pedal is soft. After the 2nd time of being back they told me there is nothing else that they can do with no explanation of what was wrong. So I brought it to a different mechanic on 7/11/22 to see what the issue was. My brake system is contaminated. Les Schwab is the only car shop that has touched my car recently. On 7/11/22 I went into Les Schwab to tell them about the issue. Right away the manager Petro got all mad and defensive saying his guys would never do anything like that. He told me to bring my car back into today on 7/14/22 so I did. He said the system is contaminated, but they didn't do it, and they won't do anything for me now. He said that they can replace the master cylinder, which seals are completely swollen due to the contamination. But of course I would have to pay for it. Why would I pay them to do something when they already screwed up my car and won't fix it? I already had to pay 900 for my brakes, and now they caused damage that I have to pay for. With the system contaminated they bled my brakes again today 7/14/22, which will just move more of the contaminated fluid farther along into the system causing more damage. I will never be back to this place again. They mess up, they won't own up to it, won't fix their mistakes, and then treat you like c*** My car isn't worth a lot so they more than likely caused more damage than what my car is worth. My question is if they know what they are doing why did they not tell me my brake system is contaminated before I had to bring it to another mechanic ? Why did I have to go somewhere else to figure that out. They messed up and didn't want to tell me.
