I went to ********** on 5/10/2024 for a tire rotation, it did not take long, I did not watch it happen as I had my 3 children. So we walked around outside went to the restroom when we came out the car was ready I did not have to sign or pay for anything as I figured it would go on our bill. It only took ********************************************************************************************************** January. We purchased through enterprise it came with very good in shape ********* tires. It was not until 5/27/2024 that we realized 2 of our tires were not *********.! The employee did not mention one word of switching tires for me as it is not what I wanted or requested.! I have contacted the sheriff's office regarding the situation the suggested I contact a lawyer. As a mother of 3 who was going on a long trip that day to pick up my mother knowing that someone at a "respectable " business would not go as far as to steal my tires and give me thier cheapest brand at that is very sad. ! We already have an issue with our own local les scwhab tire techs not doing thier jobs but to have to drive 2 hours and get ripped off is horrible.! I'm going to seek my tires today if they do not comply I will be getting a lawyer. Please hold them or at least this employee responsible for theft or something.Business Response

I went in for a new set of tires, an alignment and a break check on 5/23/24 My intital visit was a pleasant experience, the man came out when it was done to let me know that the car was checked and it did not need an alignment, but advised that the breaks should be changed, as there was stil 3mm left and that can cause squeaking. He had a print out for a $700 for breaks, pushing me to order parts and get it done ASAP.. I declined the breaks (as I know I can get them done for $250 from my dealership) and continued out the door. Later that day, I noticed a white liquid coming out of my tires, I stopped by to check that this was ok, as Ive never noticed before with other tire installs. They said it was just a lubricant from install and was normal, that it just wasnt washed off like it should have been. I carried on. The next day, on Friday 5/24 after a longer commute for work, I noticed an awful shaking in my dash/steering wheel, so i proceeded to take my car back, again on 5/25. Not only were they not balanced correctly The first time, I was then notified that have a bent wheel that apparently they noticed but never told me when putting my new tires on. The man helping me seem concerned, They didnt tell you about this while you were in? I said no, he was too busy trying to sell me breaks. He walked off, saying he would look into why the bent wheel wasnt mentioned to me the first time, while proceeding to rebalance my tires as they were not done correctly during install. We Agreeded that we would rebalance the tires and drive on them for a few days. He offered me an upgraded tires for an additional $55 per tire that could be replaced within the month if I wasnt pleased with how the car was driving. I now have to pay $150 for a new wheel that was fine before this service (even my partner driving the car Agreeded there was no previous issues with the wheel) and Im stuck with a company that I no longer trust to work on my car.Business Response

I have purchased tires in Aurora Colo. you guys dont want to fix or remedy the issues created. I have had to go somewhere else to get them fixed. You guys dont know what youre doing and I get problems everytime from your people to fix the tires. You guys are a joke and I want my money so I can actually have a warranty through a company who will take care of me. Big O tires I havent had no problems with them so this is crazy. You had all my business now I go there and I havent had one issue. Even if I do they take it back and fix it immediately. In May, 2024 ****************** visited the tire center with a TPMS warning light on for low air pressure. When the store attempted to discuss the price for a new TPMS sensor, ****************** became enraged and started screaming profanities at the employees in front of customers in the waiting area, demanded his keys back and stormed out of the store without any work performed.

On November 15th, 2023 I bought 4 tires due to my car being AWD and spent a total of $1378.00 with financing through a 3rd party it came to over $2000.00. This included an alignment to be done the following Saturday. I took my car in today because there is in wear on my drivers side tire. I have 2 mechanic sons who looked at my alighnment paper and stated the front was not allighned straight nor was the back aligned at all. ***************** accused me of not having them rotated, why because I didnt do it through thier company and stated my warranty which is to ****** miles was no good. They suggested I get all four new tires even though Im still paying for the tires I just got less than 6 months ago. My oldest works at a tire center in ******** Ca so I was able to get them rotated for free this issue has happened since then, although due for a new rotation this should never have happened if the alignment was done correctly the first time. Im a single mom of 2 and buy tires every 2 years when the snow is coming as I live in the snow during winter and now Im left with bad tires, a bad alignment and will never use this company again. All they offered to do to fix it was to have me spend more, even though it was there negligance. I have bought all my tires from them the last 5 years for both my cars. Although tires wear it would not be in 6 months with Back Country 3 peak approved tires with what is considered barley any miles (******) and they should stick to thier warranty when thier cost is a fraction of what I am paying now. They refused to rotate due to wear or do anything other than add air in and just said this is all my fault and that the allighment was fine even though its worse than before. a 1.9 billion dollar company could not stick to the warranty. Also thier allignment is only warrantied for 30 days how does anyone know in that time fame if its good or not. this company should do the best not minimal adjustments because it may be ok to do on the allignment.Business Response

According to *********************** records, ************************ purchased four new tires for her 2015 ****** Rogue (vehicle) on November 15, 2023. On November 18, 2023 she had the vehicle aligned. In May, 2024,14,000 miles later, she came back with abnormal wear to the insides of the front tires. The technician that inspected the tires noted this was likely due to lack of rotations and were no longer covered under Les Schwabs limited warranty. The limited warranty states Covered Tires not regularly rotated will be considered abused Because of the lack of tire rotations, the tires wore prematurely. Les Schwab believes it performed a proper alignment in November 2023. Les Schwab offers to inspect the alignment and if ************************ can show proof of proper rotations, Les Schwab may potentially warranty the tires.Initial Complaint

We regret that ************** had a negative experience at **************, Oregon Les Schwab tire center. We take customer reports seriously and work diligently to immediately address customer concerns.
According to *********************** records, ************** opened a retail credit account in May 2023 and charged over $1,600 of brake service to her account. ************** made $450 in payments then stopped making payments in October 2023. After multiple attempts to collect **************** debt, her account was assigned to collections, she ultimately filed bankruptcy. In April, 2024, ************** went to the Scappoose, Oregon tire center to have warranty work performed on the brakes. Seeing the account was written off, the tire center sent her back to the St. ****** tire center who informed her the warranty was null and void because of non-payment, the account being sent to collections and her bankruptcy.
************** contacted Les Schwabs ********************* who informed her she could reaffirm the debt and sent a reaffirmation agreement to **************. To date, ************** has not returned a signed agreement. If ************** sends a signed reaffirmation agreement and pays her account in full, ********************** would be happy to perform any brake warranty needed.

They sold me a defective part which ruined my rotor. Only one part is not working properly and ruined another part. Regardless, they sold a defective part and did do a good job. I returned twice after getting them done, and I was sent away each time because they said the parts were fine. The warranty was active at that time. I don't see how it's ok for a business to sell defective parts and then expect me to continue to pay them when they would fix them in the first place.

I was sold failulty equipment. All I want is the parts replaced. I'm not sure in what world it would make sense that I wait to use my vehicle until I have paid the remaining balance. There is no way for me to go to work. I will not be reaffirming given this experience because I do not want to be sold faulty car parts that put my safety in jeopardy. I went in for an alignment.they said I need rack and pinion along with both control arms. Got that done with new tires. Picked up my car not even 15 minutes later I was right back in the office because the steering wheel rattled and squeaked. They didn't come up with nothing besides that's the way it is now . They got technical saying from this bolt on we are not responsible. Three days later my break line is messed up and I'm coming down from the bay are and the breaks are not working properly. Called headquarters and they told me they are not responsible for anything besides the work they did. Paid for a diagnostic from another shop and they told me who ever did the work on my car did not put the prices back together. Went back to the shop I got my work done and they were just giving me the run around. Even compared my problems to their personal vehicle. This is getting dragged out way too long I can give you guys all the parts back and I would like some reimbursement. I cant drive my car . The problem is just getting worse. I don't understand why its so hard to just come to an agreement. You want to help the customer, but the truth is you guys are just trying find a technicality to disregard my concerns. I call back and every time i get told to leave a message. Which no one ever calls me back. The problem is so bad I am in the process of looking for another vehicle. The only reason I overpaid for your services is for the piece of mind and that backfired tremendously. My car is just sitting. Breaks are faulty and steering wheel is dangerous.

In August of 2018, my husband and I filled out a credit application jointly for tires and those tires were paid off several years ago. In March of 2024, I received notice that my now ex husband has been allowed to purchase tires on that same account using the information I had provided in 2018. We have been divorced since 2021. This has resulted in a hard inquiry on my credit report as well as derogatory remarks when he did not make his payments on time. When I called Les Schwabs Selah location, they informed me that they would not remove me from the account as long as there was a balance, regardless of how old the information on the credit application was. This was after informing them that I had not authorized a credit check or purchase with them since my initial application in 2018. Nor was my information from that application correct any longer as I had changed my last name (formerly ******) in 2022. They also informed me during this call that he had been allowed to use my information to apply for credit again in 2021, also without my expressed consent or knowledge using that same initial credit application. Les Schwab should have never used the information provided on a nearly 6 year old credit application to be ran without consent from all parties on that application. Clearly, my personal information is not safe in the hands of this business and is used repeatedly without my authorization.Business Response

According to Les Schwabs records, ************************ never notified Les Schwab that she had been divorced nor did she or her estranged spouse close the account. ********************** does not have the ability to remove ************************ from the credit account until the account is paid to a zero dollar balance. Les Schwab is able to reverse one of the negative reports to the credit bureau, as a gesture of customer service. Once the account is paid in full, ************************ will need to contact the Selah tire center or Les Schwabs ******* Services team at Les Schwab Headquarters to close the joint account. At this time, the account is paid to current.

I am rejecting this response because:While I can appreciate that it is my responsibility to close an account due to personal affairs unbeknownst to Les Schwab, what I do not believe was appropriate in this matter was Les Schwab re-submitting my information for a credit check.
What I cannot identity on the financing account information disclosures is an agreement to authorize Les Schwab to re-submit a subsequent credit application on my behalf years later, regardless of having an account open.
I authorized one credit check to be performed when I applied for credit in 2018. Any re-submitted credit applications thereafter were not authorized by me nor was it disclosed that Les Schwab could perform credit checks at will for the duration my account is open there.
As mentioned above, this credit check was performed months after ***** used the account to finance new tires. When I spoke with the manager of the Selah store, *****, he stated that in cases of nonpayment, the company will re-run a credit check to get the attention of the purchaser. When I review the penalties for nonpayment in the disclosures, I do not find anywhere that states the company can run a credit check as a means of contacting the buyer.
Credit information is extremely sensitive and personal and it seems inappropriate that if one holds an open account with **********************, they are effectively authorizing Les Schwab to run credit checks for the life of the account, as ********************** deems fit. If the account is open and ********************** was willing to finance tires based on information originally provided in 2018 that is one thing, it is entirely another issue to perform multiple credit checks without authorization.Sincerely,

We are in receipt of Ms. *********** additional response. According to Les Schwabs records, her account was opened at ******************************************** in 2018. In April, 2024, the **********, *************** Center allowed a charge on that joint retail credit account. When the Selah store noticed the new charge on their inactive retail account, they ran the credit of the joint account holders as it had been quite some time since a charge was made to that account. When the account was open, consent was given to run the credit of both account holders. Again, neither store was aware of any marriage dissolution and the account was still open.

Dear Sirs, Better Business Bureau. I have went to Les Schwab, ******************************************************************************. ************. To have my tires mounted. I bought one tire a month, and then had them mounted. I have 3 tires so far. I found out after I have checked my wheel bearings for grease and brakes for wear they may have. That there was a problem. A tire had a large Rock in side rolling around. I thought it was the bearings. When I rolled the tire, a clunk,clunk,clunk. It was the tire and inside a Rock. I was very concerned. Who would do this. Our ************ Les Schwab. Oh no, What has happen here. I also remember the tire in the rear, very heavy hard to hold up and to mount, Sand Bags inside the tire, there was no, clunk,clunk,clunk. I never have a problem with any other Les Schwab, just this location. I feel the need to write this so others are aware and don't waste time here. I've brought a few cars here and had inaccurate and incomplete estimates. Most recently I brought in my *** to have my brakes and tires inspected. They made me leave my car there for a few hours, no big deal. The problem is that the technician, *****, lied and stated the tires were on too tight and could not be removed without breaking them. I took my car back home and was able to remove all four of my tires by hand. I'm disabled and actually dont have a lot of strength in my arms any longer, if I removed them using a hand tool-- why could a professional tire shop like Les Schwab not remove them with their TOOLS? I took it to another shop with no issues. They seem to lie about estimates or refuse to do them when they feel there is no sale on their part. They have grossly overestimated pricing for the same issues identified by other shops. Additionally, I feel they were not wanting to help me because I am disabled and of color. They made me leave my car for 3+ hours when their bay was empty. I come back and they didn't even look at the car, just refused it because the tires but again, I removed them by hand.Business Response

We regret that ********************** had a negative experience at the ********, Oregon, Les Schwab tire center. We take customer reports seriously and work diligently to immediately address customer concerns.
According to *********************** records, ********************** brought his 2017 *** X3 (vehicle) to the tire center because the **** light was on. The technician inspecting the vehicle noted the tires were separating on the inner shoulders and recommended replacement. The right rear tire was missing a lug stud prior to the service and the right rear stud would not come off. He stopped the work because he did not want to break the lug studs or cause any further damage. He also saw behind the wheels the rotors appear to have scoring. He recommended a replacement and provided a quote for all the work recommended. The wheels were not removed as a precautionary measure, not due to the tools being used.
Although we respectfully disagree with the allegations in the report, Les Schwab would like to assure ********************** that we remain committed to providing the best service and products possible.Initial Complaint

I bought rear drum brakes and wheel cylinders for my ****** Camry 1999. Everything was replaced and functioned for about 8 months I took the car back since it was under warranty and claimed the noise and the dragging is ********** dust and that they checked the shoes (they didnt). Last week my back right wheel locked in place while driving on the street and I had to have my car towed. Turns out the top spring holding the adjuster was placed on the wrong spot!! Thats not even equipment error but service error causing the shoes to continuously drag because the tension was not tight enough. The issue then led to the equipment to fail premature due to negligence. I ended up replacing all brake hardware and shoes on that tire and it works now. Sad that I came with a concern under warranty and I was dismissed and overlooked. Then Im left with all these expenses when brake shoes and equipment dont just fail after 14 monthsBusiness Response
