1 starContacted this company about getting some windows replaced. The salesman who wrote the order, had the deposit withdrawn at once instead of splitting it up into 2 payments as I requested. Mistake#1. The salesman, *************************, then told me he contacted the *** when he i asked him if he got ahold of someone just to get the order completed. Mistake#2. I hadn't heard any response from *** and about a month went by as I continued to wait. I contacted The *** and was told no contact was made. So the SALESMAN, ************************* LIED! I was trying to contact their call back number they left on my vm, and was placed on hold for over for about 20 minutes. Decided to hang up cause I didn't have time to be on hold. I called back later that day, and spoke to a lady who constantly talked over me as I was trying to explain the issue. This company is misleading and aren't operating in a professional and courteous manner. They need to re-train their salesmen and customer service reps. I hope they read this complaint and take this matter serious, as it will effect their business going forward.Review fromMary H

5 starsBackground: A new roof was installed by DaBella on our house on 5/11/2023. Our *************, ** home was built in ****; the roof has a steep pitch of nearly 45 degrees. ** 2009 the roof was replaced because of hail damage (only 3 small box vents, soffit and fascia not replaced, and little preventive work to limit future weather damage). By 2023, the roof was falling apart at the edges, and ice dams were a big problem. We had sent requests for proposal, but had not received a single reply.Sales Proposal: We did some research to establish that DaBella was a real company. We met with a sales representative from DaBella in mid-April. We did not require financing for the roof project. The sales call was much longer than we had expected, with photos taken in the hot attic which showed current/deteriorating conditions. Normally, we would never sign a contract on the day it was presented. But we decided that our roof needed so much help and the rep was very credible, so we took the risk of signing a significant contract with three phases: roof (including ridge vents and side vents for good ventilation), soffit/fascia, and gutters.Materials were delivered and installation day was scheduled. A large work crew started on time, and finished the roof install the same day. They cleaned up construction debris and left only some materials to be picked up later. The roof contract did not include two small porches on opposite ends of the house. DaBella observed that the front porch roof was in terrible condition, so they simply replaced the plywood and shingles on this small section. The new roof looks great, and so does the front porch roof. We have received positive comments from our neighbors about the appearance and quality of the roof. We were pleased with the initiative shown by DaBella in simply fixing a problem that emerged during the installation. They lived up to the faith we invested in them.Review fromTrina T

I actually liked the sales person. We had a tub and shower installed. A scratch appeared during install. They never followed through to have it fixed. Basically said, " well, we would have to rip all that out to fix it." That is a "pressure phrase". We also got more quotes as we will probably pull it. The other companies had better prices and plenty of wonderful choices. We also noticed the brand new copper piping was removed. They surely are getting a good return on that. We had our other bathroom remodeled by another company.DaBella

If I could give a negative rating, this company would get -5 stars! If you have children or pets do not use this company. In the contract they promise factory trained subcontractors to install the roof that are trained directly from GAF, with at least 7 years of experience. One of the guys on the crew was no older than 19years old, and none of the other workers knew English, so do they do trainings in Spanish? They did not put a sign out front for the company, or bring a porta potty. It is stated in the contract that "all job-related debris" would be removed. They finished the job Friday afternoon and peeled out of my driveway flinging rocks and dust all over my other vehicles. My driveway and sidewalkswere left piles of debris and dust, including nails and splinters of wood. THEY LEFT CIGARETTE BUTTS IN MY DRIVEWAY. We removed five wheelbarrows filled with plastic, wood splinters, shingles, and debris from our yard and driveway. They did not magnetically sweep my yard or sidewalks for nails and metal debris. I found a piece of sheet metal that would have sliced my toddler's hand open. We have had flat tires in all 4 of our vehicles. We are two full time working parents of two children, and dont have time to go to the tire shop every day for repairs! I tried contacting the company about this issue first thing on Monday morning after the job was finished on Friday, I sent an e-mail to 6 people and not one responded. I also tried contacting the project manager, and when I tried calling the office I got no answer, and I sent follow up emails throughout the week. The following Monday, a representative showed up to my house to collect payment and they gave me a small discount to make it right, which I appreciate, but in my opinion you hire a company to save you the hassle of labor and cleanup, and they did not deliver the quality that was promised. DO NOT trust this company. Extremely expensive, over 4 months of waiting with 0 contact or updates. Then when they finally come to install they bring the wrong tub and the contractor says, well I can just go to ********** and get one. Then the contractor mentioned that he could attempt to install the tub even though the drain is on the opposite side. My husband told him not to touch a thing and to call a manager. We are so tired of being thrown around by this company that we tried to get out of our contract which is not possible unless we pay half for their incompetence. Save yourself the time, money, and trouble because now we are stuck.DaBella

*************** showed up on time for apt to check out the roof condition on our house and discuss options available thru DaBella. His inspection to be well presented in roof photos so we could 'see' for ourselves. His Back Story of DaBella was interesting. Then he discussed the various materials that would be used in the project. He adequately answered our questions! Next he moved on to selecting the choices of roofing and discussed clearly the pricing options in a professional yet friendly manner. ****** was knowledgeable, patient, kind and personable. He is a definite asset to ******* and his young family @ home!DaBella

1 starI signed the contract for a roof replacement. I told the salesman how much I made showed him proof. Loan was approved by a credit union in ************ with an extra ***** dollars added to my earnings. I called the company and the excuse was they added my son's earning which he did not give this amount. This is fraud. I also told the company to not bring any supplies until the second week of June when I would be home. The roof supplies were delivered when I was out of state. My son is not happy nor am I with the fraudulent way this has been financed.Review fromDonald B

1 star******* from ********* ********** sent a salesman to put his hard sell on new windows. After telling him many times over that I was not going to commit that day, he said he needed to call his boss and tell him he was running late. The boss said if I signed that day he would take off $1,000. dollars off the total price which was $9000. After still saying no, he said they had 12 months deferred interest and payments. We just had to leave a deposit. So, I agreed to take the deal and make a contract with Dabella. It was going to take 12 to 16 weeks to get the new windows. The next day we got a message from the salesperson saying he had a addendum to the contract for some miswords that he did? He said everything was the same except the wording of the window??? About 2 weeks later we get a call from the office manager saying that the triple pane windows we were supposed to get were not available for windows as large as we were supposed to be getting. She said they could do double pane instead. I said there was a difference in price and wanted to know the details. She said because I was doing a contract that we should just stay with the original price and they would pay me the different amount at the end of the job. I told her I needed all of the details in writing, she said she would get back to me. After a couple of days of no communication, I sent the salesperson a message telling him to cancel the order. I never heard back, so after 2 weeks I called the **************** number listed on the email. Found out it was a national company, and I was calling ****** T. ** taking to them they said someone would call me from the local office in 3 days. After week nothing from the local ******* office. I requested them to let the local or ******* manager know I wanted a call to let him know about the lack of communication. Nothing happened. After many calls to ******, I finally got our deposit back. This is a bad company; I want the public to be aware!!Review fromPaul L

1 starI was literally held captive at my house, refusing to leave or let me leave for an event I had scheduled that evening, offering roof replacement at exorbitant rates. They went from roughly $50k to $27k, how is that even possible if they were a reputable company?! Even the lower amount was ridiculous. I signed knowing I had the 3-day cancellation by ******** law just to get them out of my house. I hand delivered the cancellation to their office that was left open with no one there, but since they are so slimy and I dont trust them, I took video of me leaving it on the reception desk. You have to have no morals or conscience to be able to work there and try to steal from people.
