1 starTwo individuals from this Oregon based company came to my home in **** unsolicited with two clearly marked no soliciting signs posted outside my home. One at the base of the stairs leading to the porch and another above the door bell they rang. When I confronted the individuals why they proceeded with the signs posted they responded "I was looking at my phone".Review fromKayla P

1 starThis companies customer service is absolutely terrible. We started this process in November, and it is now may and still not complete. They dug a trench crossing our driveway and have left it for nearly 5 months now. What was supposed to be a week long process has turned into nearly 6 months, and still counting. They have been rescheduled the work 6 times, and each time the rescheduling has been the day they were scheduled to complete the work. They have stated someone needed to be home each of these times, only to reschedule, leaving us missing a day of work for no reason. We have now been paying our solar loan, without even using the solar panels. Because of this the bank told us to ask Purelight power for a refund for our payments. We have asked multiple times with no response. After going through all of this, if we could cancel the hold thing we would. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking to go solar.Review fromMike G

1 starIf you want solar panels, shop around but don't under any circumstances use Purelight Power. Their customer service is abysmal. I've been calling them every week for 8 months to fix my panels. Today I had an appointment to hopefully do just that and an hour and a half after they were supposed to show I called and they of course sent me to voicemail.Review fromKaren K

Getting solar was not a good fit for us, but the sales guy *****************. Was great at explaining how it all works. Was very respectable in answering all the questions we had. If your thinking about Solar Panels just give them a call.

I told them it was a bad idea to try instsll solar panels and electrical equipment in the winter time. They stated that they do it all the time. They came out when it was below freezing to install the panels. I noticed a leak in my ceiling and called but it was a Saturday and no answer. I got my neighbor nd noticed 2 small leaks on the South side of of roof and sealed them with Blackjack fromethe inside. They then showed up about 5 weeks later to install the rest of the electrical equipment. They were done at **** but MidAmerican was not able to get there until ****. According to MidAmerican this was an all day order which means that can show up at any time of the end of their day. I guess that's OK any other time of the year but ******!!! It's too cold for us Senior Citizens to wait over 8 hours for the heat to be turned back on.Purelight Power, LLC

We had Purelight install solar on our home with mostly outstanding results. All employees we worked with seemed to be highly professional and responsive. We even posted an outstanding review on Purelight's FB page. However, we later learned that our sales person critically misrepresented the tax credit "refund" we would receive. He very specifically described that we would receive a check which we could 1.) use to pay down the loan, thus retaining our initial monthly payment, or 2) cash and use it on whatever we want "i.e. you could use the check to buy a boat if you want" he said. We counted on this information as being true, assuming he was being honest and knew what he was talking about. We were wrong. We later learned we would not receive a check - rather we would receive a tax credit (NOT a refund). This was NOT our understanding based on the information provided to us by our sales person and we were highly disappointed to learn the truth. We'd even recommended Purelight to a relative who depended on this mis-information in making her decision to go with Purelight and install solar, thus putting her in a difficult financial position when she learned that in reality she would NOT receive a refund check, and that her monthly payment would be going up with no way to change that. This misinformation/dishonesty has been extremely disapointing and we would NOT recommend this company due to this experience.Purelight Power, LLC

Regarding the Federal Tax Credit, this Tax Credit is unique to each homeowner, based on their income and current tax liabilities. Our Purchase and Install agreement specifically stated and acknowledged that we cannot assure this credit as we do not provide tax advice. It is recommended to discuss the matter with your accountant or tax professional. We are incredibly sorry for any inconvenience caused by the misunderstanding.Review fromKathy K

I would highly suggest to consider all options when deciding to purchase a roof or solar. Personally I have seen multiple uncomfortable and unfortunate circumstances for multiple different homeowners and employees of this company. A number of different homeowners from ****** to ****, ******* and several other cities amongst these ****** I have witnessed as well as heard stories of false information based on things as far as FTC (Federal Tax Credits) claiming to receive a check in the mail to offering tax credits on roofing if included in their solar project. The main point here is to express the need to do additional research with local roofing and/or solar companies. Ethically speaking I know of a number of different companies offering the same solutions for your needs that have huge respect and love for their clients and employees. Thank you.Purelight Power, LLC

We could not find any information on ************** in our records, and it appears that he is not a customer of ours. The Federal Tax Credit for adopting solar is available to all homeowners, contingent upon their income and tax obligations. Last summer ****************** with Purelight visited me and showed me the benefits of going solar. Now I have just the basic user fee of less than $10 each month. I am building a savings account of kwh each month. And to top it off this past summer I used AC with no electric bill. ***************!Purelight Power, LLC

5 stars******************************* is a wonderful guy that is helping me to go solar. Ive wanted it my whole life. This solar electrical system. He wasnt pushy. Very respectful.
