1 starBEWARE! This company has been an absolute nightmare! Sales guy met with me and my husband twice. Wrote up alll the figures and timelines. Got a solar loan at almost 6% interest that should have been the same price as my monthly energy bill. They "cannot give me a timeline" for when I will have solar lights. I have been paying on the loan AND paying my energy bill for 5 months with no end in sight. I have cancer and am in active treatment. Which means I am exhausted AND sick and financially drained. This was supposed to save me money, and it is literally crushing me. I now have to find the energy to take next steps to get my money back and make this nightmare end. I do not believe that any positive reviews on here are real. There is no way any human could be satisfied with this company.Review fromCalvin C

3 starsWere looking forward to see how we do with solar from the sun.I think we as seniors were taken advantage of because we not only have a bill from electric co. But now were paying off $35,000 which we will never see the end of. The salesman was fast and the company was fast and now were stuck. We were told by salesman we would get $500 for each person who put solar in. He said it would come out of his pocket so we told him he didnt need to. Then we find it was $250 and the company pays. We recommended people and they did sign up. They signed up but now theyre not happy. Check and verify.Check everything before you make a decision. We didnt, just trusted.Review fromCrystal B

Just finished up with ******** from Purelight Power on the phone. I really like the app that shows how much power my panels are producing. Its pretty cool to see my meter running backwards! My new roof has already reduced the temperature in my house as well. I would recommend Purelight Power to anyone considering going solar. We had an great experience with Purelight Power. Very nice and friendly, they explained the whole process and was easy to understand. Installation was perfect with no issues. At any point in the process if you had any questions they responded in a timely manner. After installation and operating they followed up on how everything was going. Our experience was positive. The engineering plans and scheduling went off without incident, the power company and city inspections went as planned, slightly slow in getting the final meeting and app set up to monitor the panels but overall Id say an A for the overall project. 1 starPanels installed and hooked up the end of last year. That process was great! My panels showed an error April 30th, 2024. I contacted them (several times) and about 3 weeks later, they sent a technician out. He determined there was a loose connection, but wasn't able to fix it and now we had to cut all power to my shop (which powers the pump for my well water among other things). After me contacting multiple times, they scheduled an electrician to come out today (6/28/24). So I took another vacation day off work... It's now 2 hours past when they were supposed to be here, and I have yet to receive any word if they are ever going to show up. This is becoming beyond frustrating at this point.Review fromCorey Z

1 starWe also had a terrible experience with our slick talking sales guy. Who by the way doesn't believe that he is a sales man. If I'm buying something from you, you're a sales guy/gal. I had asked for a sales break down of our estimated system and he refused to provide anything with the reasoning that " this is proprietary information ." Hmmm I said. Anytime I've ever purchased something of this expense, I've always received this information.After he refused to provide this info I said I'm not interested. This is where the story starts. He then sent me the longest text message I've ever received. He actually attacked me verbally. I wasn't even surprised. I actually laughed for hours about how pathetic this situation rose to. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone thinking about solar. Unless you like high pressure sales tactics and non truths. My name is CM. I have a great experience with Purelight Power from the beginning. It started with me getting my roof replaced to get ready for solar. My solar Rep that came to my house was polite and respectful and trustworthy.The most important thing for me is trust. My representative was trustworthy to give me my quote and other information I requested about this company and other solar companies to make an informed decision about going solar. This information matched my own research. I read another review here and think that any delay of lack of trust from not getting a solar quote comes down to refusing to provide your power bill usage. My rep told me that this is required to get my quote and guarantee my "usage offset" to eliminate my entire electric bill and replace it with solar. I got my solar quote and loan prequalify approval in less than 24 hours too.Purelight Power, LLC

We had ******************* from the ********, ** office out to tell us more about solar and if Purelight Power would be a good fit for us. He insisted that he wouldn't be able to give us any ball park figures, and that he needed a copy of our bill in order to give us a quote from one of his solar engineers, so we set up a visit for the following day. Thankfully, we had to cancel the visit and requested, by text message, that he send us the numbers so that we could make an informed decision. He responded some time later saying that he could not give us a quote as they only do "custom designs," stating that he "won't be able to help you out." He refused to offer numbers on a system that we are prepared to spend tens of thousands of dollars on... Seriously. We likely will be going with solar, but we won't be doing so via Purelight Power. If you get ***** in the *********************** area, beware. He not only uses high pressure sales tactics, he also lied to us about the current legislature, and solar restrictions/ net metering reimbursement rates in our area.Purelight Power, LLC
