      I dont have an account with this business. I dont know where they got my information but they have taken money out of my account processed as a web payment. ($69.84). I looked this business up and they are not even in the *****************. I have tried reaching out several times and have gotten nothing. Im not sure who they are and what theyre trying to accomplish. I dont have funds to give away and work hard for my kids. I just want my money back and an overall resolution for compromising my account.

      Reliable Credit Association, **** (Reliable) did not debit the consumers account and is not a party to this transaction.

      On December 29, 2022 it came to our attention that ******************* & Associates, ****, a technology solutions and payment processing company, wrongfully listed Reliable as the merchant for certain ACH debits they processed for *****, an omnichannel collection software company that helps lenders and loan servicers engage with borrowers. This error likely results in the consumers financial institution wrongfully presenting Reliable in their payment description.


      We recommend that the consumer contact Payixs customer service number at ************ and/or contact the consumers financial institution to try to identify the company that actually debited the consumers account, presumably based on authorization that the consumer provided to that company. Of course, if the consumer believes this transaction was unauthorized,then they can dispute it with their financial institution.


      Reliable shares the consumers frustration caused by this unfortunate error.

      Hi **** called and harassed my mom by calling her repeatedly including today making false statements that I said he could when I dont even know who this guy is .. he also harassed me with multiple phone calls in the past as well and I didnt report it sooner because I didnt know who was doing this ..

      The consumer began to fall behind on payments in July 2022 and started making small, partial payments on sporadic days with no communication as to why the partial payments were being made or a plan to bring the account current. In October, she fell far enough behind that Reliable Credit needed a plan for the remainder of the September payment and to know whether the October payment would be paid in full and on time. Reliable Credit sent the consumer a number of letters and emails, and attempted to reach the consumer by telephone, all with no response. Due to that lack of communication,on October 5, a Reliable Credit representative began calling the references provided by the consumer in attempt to obtain better location information for the consumer. The consumer listed her mother as a reference. The representative left a message for the consumers mother but did not speak with her. The message stated only the representatives name, that they were calling because they were trying to reach the consumer, and an ask to have the consumer contact the representative, or the called party contact the representative with a current phone number for the consumer.
      On October 10, the consumer again began making small,sporadic payments. Reliable Credit again tried to reach the consumer by mail, email,and phone with no response. As of November 5, the consumer was behind on the October installment payment so a Reliable representative again called the consumers personal references to obtain better location information for the consumer. Reliable Credit left another message with the consumers mother on November 4 but did not speak with her.
      On November 8, the consumer finally called Reliable Credit and a mutually satisfactory payment arrangement was made. The consumer agreed to make the full November installment payment by November 14 and if she did so,Reliable Credit would roll the account current to December 14. Reliable Credit noted the account and flagged it for no follow up until November 15. Reliable Credit made no calls to the consumer or their references and sent no letters or emails between November 8 and November 15. On November 10 the consumer called Reliable Credit claiming that people were driving by and harassing her and wanted to know if the vehicle was assigned for repossession. Reliable Credit tried to assure the consumer that the vehicle was not assigned for repossession, but the consumer refused to listen and hung up.  The consumer called Reliable Credit again on November 14 claiming that someone was calling her mother and harassing her.  Reliable Credit tried to explain but the consumer again refused to listen and hung up.
      Reliable Credit received this complaint on November 15 and attempted to contact the consumer to resolve it. Reliable Credit left a message for the consumer but has not received a call back. As a courtesy to the customer ********************** rolled the account current so that it is no longer past due.  She is next due on December 14.  If the consumer has any questions or would like to discuss the account, she should call the *********** branch and ask to speak with manager *************************.

      Reliable credit has put me tramtic stress and mental harm, my car was stolen,they started sending me threating letters about needing to pay the balance in full or they would take legal action, i have multiple emails from a rep there where she kept telling me my gap insurance was only covering 200 something bucks... which would insinuate that they filed a claim.. i kept asking via email, what about my gap insurance, finally I requested my gap insurance information so i culd call them, which is frost gap insurance sold through reliable. when I called gap they told relaible hadnt filed a claim and that they had to file it for me, i called rep back (which i have a recording of) and at this point im telling the rep what ***** had told me, she insisted i filed the claim, they wouldnt even let me talk to the claims person there at relaible, which is who ***** told me to call, when I called in they screened my call and routed me to the rep who had been emailing back and fourth with me. After i told her what ***** said she still insisted it was my duty, from here i called frost once a week for a couple weeks to see if relaible filed the claim like ***** told me they had to do.finally it got to the point where so much time had passed i begged frost to email reliable and me and figure out why they havent filed a claim, mind you the gap went ahead and filed the claim this month... and they did so with all inforamtion i had already supplied reliable credit with,, which was the oddest part, they used everything i already presented to relaible to file to claim, ***** is paying a whole diffrent amount then what relaible stated they were going to cover... meanwhile relaible has been reporting to my credit that ive not been making payments on a vehical that i made payments ontime for for three years, until this, i even filed a consumer protection claim about this. my credit has dropped 300pts.Ive been threatened by them via letter (which i have) to pay them a total that wasnt correct

      The consumers complaint is the reiteration of a complaint she filed with the ****** Attorney General on September 22, 2022 to which Reliable responded on October 18 and again on October 28. Those responses are attached for your reference.  The consumer is not raising any new allegations, except for one, which is addressed below. Reliable understands the consumer is frustrated with the *** claim filing process and Reliable has acknowledged and apologized for the confusion and delay and explained the why the *** claim filing took as long as it did simply, Reliable did not have all of the information necessary to file the *** claim.  The consumer continues to allege that she gave Reliable all of the information needed to file the claim but she did not, as fully explained in Reliables responses to the attorney general complaint. 


      Even if Reliable could have filed the claim earlier, it would not have changed the end result. The *** administrator accepted the consumers date of loss of April 1, 2022, which was well in advance of the date that she told Reliable her vehicle was stolen. The *** administrator processed the claim to the consumers advantage and paid $******, the difference between the *** of the vehicle and her Reliable account balance.  That amount was posted to the consumers account as a credit to her principal balance. It is unfortunate that the consumer did not have primary insurance on the vehicle at the time of its theft.  Had the vehicle been insured, the primary insurance would have paid the consumer and Reliable the actual cash value of the vehicle (minus the deductible), leaving a smaller balance on her Reliable account that *** may have paid in full.

      The consumers new allegation is that Reliable is reporting to credit reporting agencies that she is not making payments on her vehicle when she made payments on time for three years until her vehicle was stolen. As explained in Reliables first response, the last payment Reliable received from the consumer was on March 18, 2022. As of the date of this response, the consumers account 195 days past due. The fact that the vehicle was stolen does not change Reliables obligation to furnish information to the credit reporting agencies with accuracy and integrity. The account is past due and Reliable must report it as such.


      The consumer requests that Reliable wipe [her] account as settled.  Reliable will not do that. Just because the consumers vehicle was stolen does not mean that she does not have to pay back her loan. That is a risk she took when she decided to not insure the vehicle. Similarly, just because the *** claim filing process took longer than the consumer would have liked does not mean she does not have to pay back her loan. The *** administrator accepted the consumers April 1 date of loss and processed the claim to her benefit. A balance remains on the consumers account, in large part because the vehicle was uninsured, not because of the *** claim.


      The consumer also requests that we stop calling and contacting her. Lack of productive contact with the consumer has been part of the problem in servicing the account and makes it extremely difficult to engage in any discussion to settle her dispute. However, Reliable will honor the consumers request to stop contacting her via telephone, email,and some correspondence.  She will,however, still receive certain legally mandated letters from us and will be contacted by any collection agency to whom Reliable assigns her account for collection. 


      The amount required to pay off **************** account is $******** as of October 28, 2022. In an effort to settle ****************, dispute, Reliable will accept a lump sum payment of $*****. If ************** pays this amount within the next 15 days,Reliable will also furnish the following status to credit reporting agencies:  paid or closed account/zero balance; account paid in full for less than the full balance. If ************** would like to accept this settlement offer or discuss her account further, she should call manager ********************* directly at *************************.

      Reliable credit towed my without notice and illegally towed my car . They had no right wouldnt even work with they need to be held accountable I was without a job and my medicine is now shot they need to owe for the damages that they have caused

      first off I did call and I shouldnt have to pay for something that was damaged and the accident wasnt my fault I was unemployed and got denied they would not work with . They are known to do this to people . They are nothing but rude people at reliable credit I wont be paying them
