I was contacted to have my business advertised on scorecards at a local golf course. They were supposed to be a 1 year advertisement, and they are already contacting me, 7 months later, for renewal payment. I was also promised to receive a copy of the scorecard in the mail, as well as proof that this advertising money was ever actually used for advertising. To this day I have had no contact from them other than being asked to renew. I have yet to see the advertisement. I asked someone that plays golf if that had seen my advertisement on a scorecard at the course, and I was told that they did not see it on the card. This company has not proved to me that this advertisement has actually happened, I believe they've just taken my money at this point, with me having nothing to show for it.

We have contacted Mr. ******* to address his concerns. It is not unusual that an advertising company would ask an advertiser to renew their ad space 7 months into a 12-month contract. Projections are needed to plan and fill open ad spaces and give current advertisers first right of refusal. Mr. ******* claims that he spoke to "someone that plays golf" and they didn't see his ad space. We contacted the course directly this morning and have confirmed the scorecards are on site. In fact, Mr. ******* has been included on multiple prints and shipments over the last 7 months. A scanned image of the current scorecard is included with this response. It is unfortunate that our customer service department was not contacted so that this information could have been relayed to him before submitting a complaint on a public forum. We hope that Mr. ********* customers contact him directly if they have questions or concerns about his services. We wish Mr. ******* the best. We consider this complaint closed.

We have made multiple attempts to contact Mr. ********* We have not received a return phone call or response to our voicemails. Mr. ********** complaint states that he "paid for a bench" (July of 2024). In order to pay for an advertisement, the contract had to have been approved at the point of sale. If Mr. ******** had buyer's remorse, he has not contacted our corporate office customer service department over the last 12 months. Mr. ******** is welcome to call us at his convenience. ********************* We consider this complaint closed.

Our office was contacted by this company with an offer to sponsor an add at *********************. I emailed back and forth with ****** ************************************************************** multiple times to finalize the ad. They stated the ad would be up from April of 2025 to April of 2026. After visiting the golf course 3 weeks ago, the ad was no where to be found. We were guaranteed it would be displayed at one of the first 6 holes. I reached out to the company via their website and to ****** directly on 6/11/2025. I also received a text from **** ****** on 4/17/25 attempting to get us to pay for an ad at a second location which we declined. I confirmed with our bank that the funds were taken out of the account back on 2/27/25. I would like someone to contact me immediately and resolve this as soon as possible. We were told the ad would be up 2 months ago and still there is nothing. I did get a response from **** ****** who said the ad was shipped to the golf course at the end of may and "should be up soon". This is not what I was informed initially. I texted with him on 6/19/25 and explained the issue but received no response after ******* others, if you're considering advertising with/through them, DON'T.

I first contracted with Bench craft in Jan of 2021 when I purchased ad space on a tee sign at a local golf course. I added on a smaller ad for a 5-course package to run a similar ad in the course guide and the scorecards. Shortly after I made my payment, I did an audit on my program, and there was NO tee sign at the course, and 2 of the 5 courses where my ad was supposed to run in the course guide/scorecards was there. The other 3 courses my ad was nowhere to be found. I was told by **** by multiple courses "good luck seeing that ad." During the 2+ years the program was running I received ZERO ROI, and I just wrote off the program as a cheap education in what not to do who not to do business with. Since that time, I've received no less than 100 separate solicitations from various **** from this company trying to scam me out of more dollars. Every time I spend ***** min speaking with **** from their "corporate" office who assure me that they'll do EVERYTHING in their power to ensure that I'm never reached out to again. Time and time again, they prove to be wrong, and the emails and calls continue. The excuse I was given by multiple **** that if I'm a publicly assessable business on ******, they have every right to reach out to me. Being a publicly assessable business is not grounds to be harassed. These guys need to be taught how to do business, how to properly address a complaint, and how not to waste everyone's time. PLEASE for the love of God someone in a position of authority fine these guys and make them think twice about harassing innocent small business owners who want nothing to do with them. I'm a local State Farm agent that employs 5 people and I contribute to the community. If I acted towards my customers how these guys are acting towards me, I'd no longer have a business. Please someone do something about this.

      Business Response

The majority of Mr. ******* complaint is inaccurate. All ads purchased in 2021 were delivered to each of the host golf courses. It is unfortunate that the small community he references contributing to, decided to do business with a different local insurance professional. We have made note of his request not to be contacted with future advertising opportunities on his expired accounts as well as the numerous golf courses in his local area that we have relationships with. This should mitigate the advertising opportunities he is offered by our company. We are unfortunately unable to remove him from ****** and we are sure he will receive sales calls from other businesses. We apologize for what he is experiencing being a business owner and receiving sales calls. We consider this complaint closed.

I am rejecting this response because:

Hello.  The response from the business alludes to the fact that they can't take me and my business listing off of ******, and that I'll continue to get solicitations from OTHER businesses.  To be clear, I WELCOME solicitations from other businesses, what I want to stop is receiving solicitations from THIS SPECIFIC business.  The fact that I have an active listing on ****** doesn't give THIS business the right to ******* me CONTINUOUSLY.  I emphatically and whole heartedly reject their response, and it doesn't in ANY way address this SPECIFIC business continuing to HARRASS me.  All it takes is for THIS COMPANY'S sales **** to adhere to DO NOT SOLICIT and DO NOT CONTACT FOR MARKETING guidelines that ALL sales businesses are legally, ethically, and morally held to, and the continued harassment that I've been receiving from THIS BUSINESS will stop.  However, they REFUSE to do so, and it's been elevated to the point where I've been left with no decision other than to file a formal complaint.

I will also be filing a formal complaint with the *** for their CONTINUED violations of DNS and DNC legal guidelines for businesses.

      Sincerely,

      **** *******

My company purchased a tee marker for a year with Benchcraft less than a year ago and told them that this would be the only advertising we would like to do with them. They have had SEVERAL sales **** contact us to purchase more advertising at local golf courses. I have told every single sales *** to put us on a DO NOT CONTACT list and still receive phone ************ messages. I have even received emails that go unanswered when I request to confirm we are on a DNC list.

So fun thing I have advertised with them a few times and it had $0 ROI. And they tried to tell me my deal was for 3 years when they called me to tell me its time to renew. No it was not for 3 years haha horrible sales tactics. Very pushy. No big deal you win some and lose some. But they still call me and I want nothing to do with it. Just had one of them call me a "fucking Dick": Pretty awesome! You guys are representing the upper-class golf courses. You might want to restructure with higher class salespeople. BEWARE PEOPLE!

This company continues to call over and over from multiple different phone numbers. We have told them we are not interested and to stop calling us. They continue to call multiple times a week and sometimes twice in the same day.

We do not have a record of this business contacting our corporate office with a request not to be contacted regarding advertising at one of the local golf courses in their area. They have not included the name of the golf course in this complaint. We will do our due diligence to identify which course they have been contacted about and will note their request not to be contacted. If **************** needs further assistance, a professional, rational, phone call to us will suffice. ********************* . We consider this complaint closed.

This company Purports to be a legit advertising company. And they do print company logos on golf course cards. The problem is they add on additional course guides and they charge you for 12 month advertisements every 5 months. If you are unable to keep track of all the permutations of multiple courses and scorecards and course guides you are likely going to be charged 2x or 4x what you were expecting. They send invoices stating that only written agreements are valid but they will make you verbal promises and happily charge your card with only an OK email or purported text message "ok" even if they cannot supply evidence of this casual approval. IF you choose to do business with them, do not give them a CC number they can charge at will because they will.- also pretty vulgar and unprofessional sales people- think twice.

Bench Craft Company reached out to us about advertising on a bench at a golf course in **********, **. We paid $495 on January 9, 2024, and requested a photo of the sign on the bench, but never received ****** September 2024, they called to ask if we wanted to renew the agreement. Again, we requested proof of the signage, but they kept avoiding the question. We visited the golf course and found bench #**the location we were told our sign would bebut there was no advertisement, just the bench itself. We took pictures that day as evidence.Despite repeated calls asking for proof of our ad, we never received a response. Instead, they contacted us again to renew. When I told them our sign wasnt on bench #**, they said that was a different department and emphasized that time was running out to renew. After that, we never heard from them again.
