TOTAL. SCAM. AVOID! The reviews you read here that tell of a person walking in, getting the sales pitch, the performance art of doing a stupid carbon copy of your foot (no molds, just a stupid carbon copy), then, getting some pre-made junk in the back room, then presenting the person with a $2,000 price tag is on point with my experience last month. The psychological trick they play is that they prey on people who are desperate – seniors especially (their TV ads are for shows they know seniors watch). So when they present the person with this price, they are shocked, but they feel "it must be worth it." And the person is in pain, and they have just spent 20 minutes in a chair getting their feet looked at and are invested in not walking out of the store without some relief. So they pay it. They pay $2,000 for some cheap $3 pieces of plastic. It's a horrible, despicable business. The positive reviews you see on here are clearly fake, it's so obvious (who goes on the BBB to leave a glowing review anyway? Seriously). They are expert manipulators and marketers, so they watch their social media closely, thus the fake "balanced" reviews here on BBB.

I went in to replace my running insoles for a couple weeks until I got back home where I left mine by accident. I asked for a price and I never got it. Went to through the whole presentation and narrowed down a pair. I got to the register and was told I owed $500. It caught me off guard and I should’ve turned around there. I asked if they were refundable and they said yes, they’re refundable if I’m not happy. I tried to return them and they told me no. Now I’m out $500. Nowhere on their site or receipt says all sales are final. I returned my insoles to the store anyway. now I’m filing a bank dispute and talking to an attorney. I just wanted my money back. I advise no one to go to them.

My first experience in the store, clean, sanitized. Looked around and thought why aren't there any price tags? So, I asked how much for a pair of orthotic inserts? I was told it depends on the foot it varies. Fair enough I said. Can I buy a gift certificate for my husband for ****? YES you can. So I ask again, how much for one pair? He still wouldn't give me a price but tells me that all the inserts come with a LIFE WARRANTY and when I heard that I thought it was worth buying so I ask what is the ***** starting price for a gift certificate? He said $259. So I asked if there was a cheaper one? No there isn't that's the starting point. What do we get for that price? He said you get a personal fitting for your feet trying on different foot supports then we can go from there. I asked do you have any brochure or flyers or something that I can include with the gift certificate so that my husband knows what he's getting? He said no. Just send him to our store with the gift certificate and we will take good care of him. 12/26/23 I take my husband to the store to see the same sales rep. ***** a 50 min fitting, he shows us a flyer with package deals we cant afford. What can this gift certificate get? He says this will only buy you ONE FOOT ORTHOTIC INSERT. Are you kidding me?! Why didn't you tell me that in the beginning of the fitting? Then he proceeds to tell us about other cheaper packages. We still said NO. Can't afford it. But wait there's one orthotic that we don't really advertise and he shows us this clear plastic insert that only has a 6 month guarantee for $400+ we can put it on a care credit for you free financing. We said NO to that, we just want our money back. He said gift certificates are final. I said I will just contact your district manager as he may have the authority to refund us due to your lack of transparency and refusal of giving us a copy of the package deals when I asked for it after I bought the gift certificate. Update to come 12/27/23 from Mgr.

Since I have problems with my right foot and both knees, I hoped their products might help. We waited quite some time before we were attended to. The sales person was Kristine. She measured my feet to see what inserts would solve my problem. I tried the inserts for a few seconds walking back and forth the store and felt lighter; not much difference though. than before. However, it was only a few seconds. The sales lady gave me three sets of inserts with instructions. We went to pay and as we approached the cashier, I noticed that the receipt was $1,400 plus. We were surprised, but still paid. Nonetheless, I told the lady we will return it if inserts didn’t work and left with the three sets of inserts. The products did not work and when we tried to return them for a refund we were told there is no refund policy. We tried 3 times and each were told the same thing.

True enough, there was no improvement and they were still not comfortable, in fact they made the pain even worse. I called for another appointment with Andre. Went back again the following weekend. Still no return policy. Complained of worse pains after constantly using the inserts Changed the inserts again for the third time. I asked for the manager and Andre said it’s Kristine’s day off. What? I thought Andre said he is the manager the second time we visited. Now he said he was the assistant. They are not professional and they are were clearly lying to us. Their products did not work and they refused to refund our purchase. No proof of the non-refundable products.

I visited the store Saturday, December 9, 2023. I told assistant mgr Lateesha my main reason for visiting I needed insoles for my new boots. Lateesha proceeded with I assume their routine sales pitch getting impressions of my feet. I watched a video. She continued with fitting me with three difference insoles. The first pair of shoes hurt my right foot. The 2nd pair were a half size bigger, I wore these throughout the fitting though they were too big & Lateesha was made aware of this. After about 45 minutes into the visit, Lateesha finally fitted me for my boots. The 2nd try on of insoles worked and felt comfortable during this 5 minute experience. Pricing was not shown to me until check out time - over $2k. Other options were merely mentioned but not shown to me. I conclude I was under the hype & somewhat exhaustion of the high sales pitching process so I allowed the transaction to happen & agreed to any other statements that followed at that point in earshot of Jordan who I later learned is the store manager and was a witness that day. Lateesha ensured I left the store wearing the insoles. Later that day my shoes felt tight. The next day my shoes felt tight, my right ankle was sore. I called the Athens, GA store requesting to return the products as I work in the area I was told to come to the store the next day when the manager was there. I went to the store the manager was out sick I was also informed I needed to return the insoles to the Gwinnett store. I called & spoke to Jordan she insisted I come in for a refitting & was adamant she witnessed certain statements at the conclusion of the sale. I expressed to her I cannot afford these insoles. In Gwinnett I got refitted & explained to Lateesha their program is not practical for my lifestyle. I invest in & wear many different comfortable shoes so much I don't need insoles for them. No one at corporate or the store level has returned my call to get an update on the refitting. I want to return their product.

Ugh, the wife was in pain from being on their feet for work, desperate for relief we spent $1000 for a couple of insoles and two arch supports that are not custom which can be purchased elsewhere for less than $100. Their high pressure sales tactics are predatory, and we fell victim, hopefully this helps someone avoid our costly mistake.

I'm writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the refund policy. This store is running a policy that has some type of loop hole for not giving their customers a refund. I visited the Good Feet Store in Charlotte, NC to look for some insoles. I bought the inserts and put them on their Care Credit option. I got home and decided that I made the wrong choice and called them to return the inserts. Their return policy is not clearly stated anywhere(receipt or website). They require you to call which I did. I spoke to the store manager and she said she will put in a request to corporate. Called me be back the next day to say that they don't have a refund policy. I also reached out to their website, left a message on their contact form and this was their response... "Although each Good Feet Store is individually owned and operated, polices may slightly vary from store to store. Good Feet’s standard policy is 30 Day Free Resize, Exchange, No Refunds. The store from which you made your purchase from should have the policy on the receipt." There's nothing on my receipt that say no refund. This is bad business.

This store was trying to charge $1800 for an ugly pair of shoes and some insole devices.I could tell that this was a scam and we left the store with our money in our pockets. Don't fall for their heavy handed sales pitch. Save yourself from this scam!

How can three plastic inserts that you must change out for 4 weeks till you are used to them be worth$1500.00. They say you can go to any store for a lifetime to change them out but 3 plastic insoles are not worth $1500 in upfront money. It seems they prey on people with no insurance. They don't tell you the price till you spend 45 minutes in the store listening to the sales spiel. When you ask how can it cost $1500 for 3 plastic inserts they say they don't work on commission. They sell you like a car salesman. No way would I ever go back there again. I saw Podiatrist warning about this scam. Something should be done to stop them.
