I bought a car from AutoBidMaster on January 9th, 2024. It is eligible for a used clean vehicle tax credit. When I did my taxes this year, my taxes were rejected because Autobidmaster failed to produce the information to the *** that they are required to give. They are supposed to give the *** Form *****, the Clean Vehicle Seller Report. Once that report is given to the ***, it's put in a database so that I can collect my tax credit. I have called and emailed Autobidmaster multiple times. We have gone back and forth. They even said they would send me the paperwork by mail and then didn't actually fill out the important parts they were supposed to fill out about their business. Basically, they kept telling me they could help me and they haven't. They have been stringing me along hoping I would give up. Even though this is something they should have done already. The *** says that businesses have to turn in this form when they sell a clean vehicle. I would like them to fix this issue and turn in the paperwork that they are supposed to.

    Dear BBB,

Thank you for the opportunity to address Ms. ******* concerns.

It might be helpful to understand that AutoBidMaster is not like your local used car dealership. We operate a membership-based online auto auction marketplace and act as a broker to facilitate the purchase and sale of salvaged, damaged, and used vehicles through our affiliated dealer and dismantler network.  Our process is fully explained on our site:  ****************************, and anyone wishing to utilize our services must agree to our Terms and Conditions in order to use our services.  Ms. ******* agreed to these Terms and Conditions when she became a member on August 26, 2024 (the Agreement).

The Agreement outlines all of the services we provide. This is not a service we provide.

We have tried in various ways to help Ms. ******* but as preparing these forms is not a service we provide. Ms. ******* has not been satisfied with any of the efforts made on her behalf.

I have reviewed multiple calls and emails with Ms. ******* that explain to her that this is not a service we provide.  ******************* claims, we never told her this is a service we could provide.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to discuss this matter further.

    Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:  I chatted pretty extensively on the phone with the *** and they said that auto dealers are legally REQUIRED to provide this important tax information.

It's not a big ask... in fact if Autobidmaster had taken  my first email seriously, this matter could have been solved in under 30 minutes.  Including setting up the paperwork and sending it to the ***.  But, instead they have decided to be combative with me about not doing what they are supposed to be doing.  I'm not sure why they would rather spend their time doing that, but here we are.

Also, on their own website, they have an article about how to get your clean vehicle tax credit.  That caused me to believe that it would be easy to get my tax credits from this auto dealer.

    ******************************************************************************************

Also, I haven't been speaking with *******, I have been speaking with someone named ****** *******.  And, for a short while someone named ****.    He lead me to believe they would fill out the tax paperwork and I went to all the trouble of sending it through the mail like he asked me too and then he mailed back incomplete paperwork that ISN'T filled out.

In order for this issue to be resolved, AutoBidMaster needs to do the right thing and turn in the tax forms.  Legally, this is what they are supposed to be doing anyways.  I shouldn't have had to waste so much of my time and energy to get this taken care of.

    Sincerely,

Ms.******* misstates *** regulations regarding used clean vehicles credits.  Dealers are not required to furnish reports on vehicles where the dealer does not have sufficient information to complete the required form.  ************** purchase a vehicle through AutoBidMaster that was presented at an auto auction, the only information we receive regarding the vehicle is information that is neither verified or guaranteed by the seller at the auction.  Given that we have no personal knowledge of the information provided to Ms. ******* by the auction, we cannot complete the required forms.

When Ms. ******* signed the Purchase Agreement Documents on July 30, 2024, she agreed that her purchase was subject to the Agreement she entered into when she became a member.  Per the Agreement, Ms. ******* agreed that she understood that we make no representations as to the accuracy or the validity of the vehicle information presented in the auction listing.

Section 7.2 of the Agreement provides in part:
We and our Dealers expressly disclaim all representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the accuracy or completeness of any Vehicle Information, Auction Highlights and Copart Auto Auction Lot Details. Vehicle Information is provided as a starting point for your research regarding the history, title, condition, and other information about the vehicle. We strongly encourage you to inspect, or retain someone to inspect on your behalf, any vehicle prior to placing any bid or agreeing to purchase any vehicle.
You agree not to rely on any Vehicle Information,Auction Highlights, or Copart Auto Auction Lot Details in deciding whether or how much to bid on a vehicle.
Further,Section 7.3 of the Agreement provides in part:
As we do not have any information regarding the vehicle, other than what has been provided to us but which is unverified, if you have questions regarding the status, title, condition, or other element regarding the vehicle, you should inspect the vehicle, have the vehicle professionally inspected and or consult with an appropriately-trained and qualified professional before placing any bid or making any purchase.
Ms. ******* may have assumed that we complete these documents, but that assumption is her responsibility.  I have reviewed the records of all the communications.  In 2024 Ms. ******* had questions regarding transportation.  She also had questions regarding buying the vehicle for a family member and shipping it to their address.  At no point in 2024 were any EV tax credits or forms discussed.
We do not and have never provided this service to our customers.  We do not advertise that we provide this service. It is not appropriate for Ms. ******* to assume we provide a service that was never advertised or discussed prior to the sale.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to discuss this matter further.

    Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:  If you dont provide the clean vehicle credit, then you shouldn't have a whole post about it on your website.  That is not okay.  I have talked to the *** and they have said that you ARE required by law to turn in this paperwork.  I imagine after the complaints I've sent into them that they will be looking through your taxes this year with a fine-toothed comb.

It would take much less time and effort for AutoBidMaster to just DO THE RIGHT THING.  You could have fixed all of this immediately and with very little effort.  You need to fulfill your duties and honor what you have on your own website (your own post about getting clean vehicle tax credits).  You also need to honor your tax duties to the *** by filing all necessary paperwork.   I tried to make this as easy as humanly possible for you by filling everything out and sending it to you.  It is not difficult or long paperwork, it is very easy.

    Dear BBB,
Thank you for the opportunity to address Ms.****** ****************

It might be helpful to understand that AutoBidMaster is not like your local used car dealership. We work with a membership-based online auto auction marketplace.  Dealers affiliated with our marketing platform sell vehicles from auctions to members.  The process is fully explained on our site:  ***************************** and anyone wishing to utilize our services must agree to the Terms and Conditions, Rules and Policies, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy, covering the transactions.  Ms. ******* agreed to our terms covering this transaction on January 26, 2025.

In the Agreement between AutoBidMaster and Ms. ******* she agreed that he understood that she was purchasing the vehicle on an as is basis, with no warranties, and without reliance on any of the information provided in the vehicle listing.  Ms. ****** further agreed that it was her responsibility to research and inspect the vehicle before bidding on the vehicle.

In the Agreement, AutoBidMaster explains, and members agree and accept that as AutoBidMaster does not have possession of the vehicle, we cannot and do not make any representations regarding any vehicle.  We expressly disclaim any representations and or warranties regarding the vehicle.  We require that members agree that they understand and agree to such conditions of all purchases, prior to making any purchase.

Section 2 of the Agreement specifically states, in part:

While we may provide information and other guidance as part of our Services, such information and guidance are for informational purposes only and you may decide whether or not to follow it. By using our Services, you understand and agree that neither we nor our Dealers (a) own, control, employ, recommend, or endorse any of the independent third-party sellers who own the vehicles available for purchase using our Services; (b) own or possess the vehicles available for purchase using our Services (unless we are listed as the seller); (c) research, verify, confirm, guarantee, or warrant the accuracy or completeness of any Vehicle Information (as defined in Section 7.2 (Vehicle Information Disclaimer)) for any vehicle available for purchase using our Services; and (d) make any representations, warranties or guarantees of any kind regarding the quality or condition of the vehicles available for purchase through our Membership Services.

In addition, per Section 7.1 of the Agreement, Mr. ***** agreed that:
All vehicles are "AS-IS" and "WHERE IS" and "WITH ALL FAULTS". All vehicles are sold from by our Dealers. We do not buy or sell vehicles. You agree that vehicles sold via our Services are sold without any warranty, express or implied, including but not limited to any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or warranty of merchantability. You agree that vehicles sold via our Services are not represented as being in road-worthy condition or mechanically sound. You agree that vehicles sold via our Services may have latent, hidden, or undisclosed damage or other conditions that are not immediately apparent or discoverable.  You agree that vehicles sold via our Services may not be fit for use as a means of transportation, may not comply with local, state, or federal emissions standards, and may require substantial repairs at your expense.  You agree that it is your sole responsibility to ascertain, confirm, research, inspect, and/or investigate any vehicle and all related Vehicle Information (as defined in Section 7.2 (Vehicle Information Disclaimer)) before placing any bid or purchasing any vehicle using our Services.

Section 2 of the Agreement states, in part, Purchasing a used or salvage vehicle from an online auto auction marketplace presents many risks. It is your sole responsibility to inspect any vehicle prior to placing any bid.

Per the signed Purchase Agreement, Ms. ****** agreed that the vehicle as sold as is, where is, with no representations or warranties and subject to the terms of the Agreement.  In addition, on page two of the Purchase Agreement, Ms. ****** acknowledged and agreed that, I acknowledge and agree that AutoBidMaster does not make any representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the accuracy or completeness of any Vehicle Information or any Auction Verification contained in the Lot Details on the auction listing.  Further, on page three of the signed Purchase Agreement that Ms. ****** signed, she agreed with the following statement:  AutoBidMaster made no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the accuracy or completeness of any damage disclosures or the condition of this vehicle.
On the vehicle listing, the vehicle is listed as inoperable with mechanical damage.  It would not be unusual for vehicles for vehicles to look differently at the time of sale compared to photographs.  The photographs are taken by the auction at the time the vehicles is inventoried for sale. That can be weeks or months before vehicles are sold.  Because we strongly recommend that people inspect vehicles prior to sale, it is not uncommon for people inspecting vehicles to leave vehicle doors, hoods, or windows open when they inspect vehicles

Ms.****** elected to purchase shipping brokerage services with *****************************  Weve reached out to EasyHaul to the shipping of Ms. ****** vehicle.  Per EasyHaul, they do not guarantee any shipment time frame.  They state that they kept Ms. ****** informed that the originally planned transport drivers vehicle was non functional so the load was sent to another transport company. On March 5, 2025, they informed Ms. ****** that the vehicle would be delivered that day.  Per the transport company, the vehicle was unable to be unloaded where the member had requested due to how small the street is.  *********************** with ********* it is her responsibility to ensure that the vehicle can be unloaded.  The transport company unloaded the vehicle across the street from where Ms. ****** requested,as it was the closest that their vehicle could get to the location. Per the company hired by ******** to transport the vehicle, it was delivered in the same condition as when they picked the vehicle up from the auction.

We are sorry that Ms. ****** is unhappy with the vehicle she purchased via AutoBidMaster, but based on the Agreement between the parties, she is not entitled to a refund or other compensation.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to discuss this matter further.

I HAVE PURCHASED AN **** IN AUG 2024, PAID ALL COSTS, FEES, AND SHIPPING IN SEPT 2024. AS OF TODAY, MARCH 7TH, 2025, THEY HAVE FAILED TO DELIVER A RECORDABLE TITLE AND REFUSED TO RETURN THE VEHICLE AND REFUND THE MONEY.We bought an **** on Aug 29th, 2024, from a Copart auction using Autobidmaser for $16,500. By the time we were charged for fees and shipping, the total bill was over $21000.The car was delivered on 9/8/2024. We tried to record the title documents at the Colorado DMV 3 times; each time, we had to reschedule an appointment at the ************, and return the docs to Autobidmaster for corrections. Finally, on Jan 13th Autobidmaster asked us to pay them the CO state taxes directly, and they would submit the docs themselves. Unfortunately, they were rejected again for the 4th time. On Feb 27th, they told us we have to wait another 2 to 4 weeks. They claimed per the purchase agreement they were not responsible to deliver a legit title, and our only option is to pay for mediation, because the car could be registered in ** where it was bought, so they want us to come register it in CT, knowing very well we don't live in **. I just want them to refund me the $16,500 and nothing else, I will pay for the shipping back to them.

I am rejecting this response because:It took them 6 months and 13 days to give us a recordable title. We purchased the vehicle in August 2024, and finally, we had a title in our name in March 2025. My son already has a car, and we dont need this one.We dont know what to do with it.  The inconvenience we have experienced with this company was appalling; the stress we had to go through emotionally and financially and the time wasted correcting their mistakes were horrific and shocking.  They are predators that prey on unsuspecting consumers like us. They will never accept responsibility for their mistakes and always have a reason to justify their abuse of the customers.  They promised to deliver the vehicle and title documents in 2 to 6 weeks in their disclosures, not over 6 months. I dont accept their answer as presented. They need to pick up the vehicle and return my $16,500

Copart Auto auction of Florida sold me a 2023 Tesla Model 3 for a "Buy Now" price of $7,300 (US DOLLARS). I was also charged $1600 more for "sales and auction fees as well as sales taxes". I paid an additional $ 1980 to have the car shipped to ********************. In total I paid approximately $11,000 for the vehicle overall. After a personal inspection of this vehicle, I have determined that the value of the vehicle is excessively less than my purchase price, due to the fact that the car was totally flood damaged with SALT WATER ( also to a level higher than listed on the Copart website). Copart did not specify that the flood damage was salt water. The salt water has completely damaged every interior component electrical and other, BEYOND REPAIR. Giving all of those components little to no resale value. In accordance to ******* AND California state law, a car cannot be given a SALE PRICE of more than the market value of the vehicles parts if it does not have a title and/or is being sold for parts only. The market value of this vehicle if sold for parts only, is less than $1500 (and that is being generous). The high voltage battery is gone. This component is the highest valued component of the vehicle, and it isn't available. All of the electronics from the touchscreen down are damaged beyond repair or resale. The only parts that could be sold at an extreme discount are the exterior body parts and the rims and tires. Finally, a company cannot uphold a sale being FINAL, if the selling practice is not fully transparent down to the represented value of the vehicle. The represented value of the vehicle was approximately $29,000 with a repair cost of $29,000, making the value of the vehicle $0. You cannot then list the vehicle for $7,300 if it is worthless. There is already a federal class action lawsuit to the tune of over $5,000,000 dollars against Copart for these very same deceptive practices.

    Dear BBB,
Thank you for the opportunity to address Mr.Marshs complaint.

I cannot speak to whether Copart Auto auction of Florida sold Mr. ***** a 2023 Tesla Model 3. I also cant speak to any possible federal class action against ******. I am not employed by Copart Auto auction of Florida.  Mr. ***** purchased a 2023 Tesla Model 3 from AutoBidMaster, against whom he filed this complaint, so that is the transaction I am responding to.

Mr. ***** agreed to our terms covering this transaction on November 7, 2024 (the Agreement).

In the Agreement between AutoBidMaster and Mr. ****** he agreed that he understood that he was purchasing the vehicle on an as is basis, with no warranties, and without reliance on any of the information provided in the vehicle listing.  Mr. ***** further agreed that it was his responsibility to research and inspect the vehicle before bidding on the vehicle.

Mr. ***** was aware that it was his responsibility to get an inspection of the vehicle.  On November 27, 2024, before he purchased the vehicle, Mr. ***** reached out to our customer service department and was provided with a list of third party inspectors.

In the Agreement, AutoBidMaster explains, and members agree and accept that as AutoBidMaster does not have possession of the vehicle, we cannot and do not make any representations regarding any vehicle.  Copart also does not inspect vehicles.  Our Agreements incorporate Coparts terms and conditions and both AutoBidMaster and Copart expressly disclaim any representations and or warranties regarding the vehicle.  We require that members agree that they understand and agree to such conditions of all purchases, prior to making any purchase.

In his communication to the BBB, Mr. ***** alleges that the vehicle was flooded with saltwater.  Note that the vehicle was listed as having water/flood damage.  In addition, in the Agreement, we specifically state that vehicles may have additional or different damage.

Section 2 of the Agreement specifically states:

While we may provide information and other guidance as part of our Services, such information and guidance are for informational purposes only and you may decide whether or not to follow it. By using our Services, you understand and agree that neither we nor our Dealers (a) own, control, employ, recommend, or endorse any of the independent third-party sellers who own the vehicles available for purchase using our Services; (b) own or possess the vehicles available for purchase using our Services (unless we are listed as the seller); (c) research, verify, confirm, guarantee, or warrant the accuracy or completeness of any Vehicle Information (as defined in Section 7.2 (Vehicle Information Disclaimer)) for any vehicle available for purchase using our Services; and (d) make any representations, warranties or guarantees of any kind regarding the quality or condition of the vehicles available for purchase through our *******************

By using our Services, you understand and agree that you are responsible to inspect the vehicle or have someone inspect the vehicle for you. You understand and agree that you are responsible for the cost of all repairs and any services the vehicle requires. You understand that you bear the entire risk that the vehicle does not conform to the information in the listing because the same is provided by the auction and not verified by us...

Purchasing a used or salvage vehicle from an online auto auction marketplace presents many risks. It is your sole responsibility to inspect any vehicle prior to placing any bid.

Mr.***** also states that the vehicle did not have a title.  The vehicle was listed with a CD, which is a Certificate of Destruction.  On December 4, 2024, Mr. ***** signed, via DocuSign, the BILL OF SALE PARTS ONLY.  This corresponds to the fact that the vehicle was listed as not having a title but a Certificate of Destruction.

Mr.***** also states his analysis of California and Florida law as he alleges relates to this transaction.  Under the Agreement, all matters between the parties are to be resolved under the laws of Oregon. Section 9.9 of the Agreement states, You agree that the laws of the State of Oregon shall exclusively govern the provision of any non-******************** including issues regarding the purchase and sale of items.  As such, ********** and Florida laws are not relevant to this transaction.

We are sorry that Mr. ***** is unhappy with the vehicle he purchased via AutoBidMaster, but based on the Agreement between the parties, he is not entitled to a refund or other compensation.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to discuss this matter further.

On September 3, 2024, I purchased a vehicle at auction through Autobidmaster. The payment was made promptly as requested, and the vehicle pickup from the yard went smoothly. Autobidmaster informed me that the title delivery could take up to 30 days. However, it has now been over two months, and I still have not received the title.I have repeatedly called and written to Autobidmaster, but they continue to give me the same response: that they are still waiting for the title from Copart. Despite my numerous attempts to resolve the issue, there has been no progress. Without the title, I am unable to register my vehicle, and this situation has become increasingly frustrating. I am seeking assistance from the Better Business Bureau to address and expedite the resolution of this matter.

I am writing to file a complaint against AutoBidMaster LLC. I have never attempted to purchase anything from this business. When I lost my wallet, someone used my expired ID and debit card to create an account in my name. I reported this fraudulent activity, noting that someone had doctored my ID to make it appear valid. The altered date was clearly visible in the photo. After months of communication, AutoBidMaster LLC acknowledged the fraud and refunded the $600 deposit. However, on 10/20/2024, I received an email stating that I owe them $370.31. I have never made any purchases, and the company is fully aware of this. I have also provided proof of identity theft as requested.Despite replacing my card and resolving the initial issue, AutoBidMaster LLC is now attempting to send me to collections for a nonexistent debt. This situation is unacceptable.

Date of transaction: Sep/10/2024 Paid amount: $2,643.39 The vehicle was listed as running and driving and the CA cert of title or Salvage Acq clean was listed on title description; however, on the dmv purchase form, where Autobidmaster was acting as broker, signed the form for the purpose of dismantling the vehicle which has caused several problems for us intending to use the vehicle as described. The car was received on 9/10/24. We got the car before we received the paperwork which means the following fixes were for nothing. The vehicle did not start at the time of delivery and the battery was damaged. I bought a new battery for the amount of $97 just to start the car. After installing the battery the car started but would not move. A mechanic was called and we were told the car needs a new hydraulic pump, which costs between $500-800. Last week on 10/03/2024, I received the paperwork in which I have already paid for which includes the bill of sale, dated 09/20/2024. The *** gives only 10 days after purchasing to transfer to my name and title was available at the time of purchase but now is not. I am now stuck with a car that does not runs/drives , run out of time with the dmv processes and worse if they consider the car was sold just for dismantling. Their page misleads buyers with a statement claiming smooth transfer of ownership and we were sold a car labeled as operational; however, were given a car to be dismantled instead. We want a full refund of all that was done including the repairs, shipping, and paperwork which happened as a result of false advertising. We have all supporting documentation if needed.

    Dear BBB,

Thank you for the opportunity to correct the facts regarding ******** ****** complaint regarding the vehicle she purchased via AutoBidMasters platform.

It might be helpful to understand that AutoBidMaster is not like your local used car dealership. We operate a membership-based online auto auction marketplace to facilitate the purchase and sale of salvaged, damaged, and used vehicles through our website at ************************. Our site contains Terms and Conditions (TAC), which all members have to agree to in order to use our services.

Ms. ***** agreed to these Terms and Conditions when she became a member on July 13, 2022, and the updated Terms and Conditions covering the sale of this vehicle on August 29, 2024 (the Agreement).

As provided in the Agreement, vehicles are listed based on the title type and state that the vehicle has when it is received by an auction. This is explained in the Agreement. Section 7.2 of the Agreement states:

"Vehicle Information" means any and all information related to a vehicle listed on our Website, whether provided in written, oral, or digital form, including: year, make, model, body style, color, drive type, engine type, cylinders, fuel type, condition, damage amount, damage type, primary damage, secondary damage, mileage, odometer, odometer descriptions, runs and drives status, vehicle identification number ("VIN")or serial number, title or ownership document type, title or ownership document state, title or ownership document history, estimated retail value, actual cash value, repair estimate, estimated repair cost, repair history, total loss history, airbag deployment, keys, any Auction Highlights, and any and all other information (including images) listed on any lot listing page and the "Lot Details" or "Copart Auto Auction Lot Details" for any vehicle.
The vehicles listed on our Website are not owned by us or our Dealers. As a result, all items of Vehicle Information are provided by the auction seller (via ****** as the operator of the auction). This information is not reviewed or confirmed.
Titles may change when vehicles are sold and reregistered.  This is also explained in the Agreement.  Section 7.7 states:

[D]ue to variations in applicable laws and regulations, you may receive a title or ownership document which is different than the title or ownership document that is listed on the lot listing page.

As is further detailed in the Agreement between the parties, Ms. ***** agreed that it was her responsibility to research the history of the vehicle and its title and that he is not relying on any information provided by us. This information is detailed in many sections of the Agreement.

In Section 7.1 of the Agreement, the Agreement provides, [Y]ou agree that it is your sole responsibility to ascertain, confirm, research, inspect, and/or investigate any vehicle and all related Vehicle Information (as defined in Section 7.2 (Vehicle Information Disclaimer)) before placing any bid or purchasing any vehicle using our Services.

In Section 7.2 of the Agreement, the Agreement provides, [V]ehicle Information is provided as a starting point for your research regarding the history, title, condition, and other information about the vehicle.

In Section 2 of the Agreement, the Agreement provides, While we may provide information which has been provided to us as part of our Services, such information is only to be used as an unverified starting point for the research you must do regarding any vehicle you wish to purchaseYou understand that you bear the entire risk that the vehicle does not conform to the information in the listing because the same is provided by the auction and not verified by us.

In addition, in the Rules and Policies Section of the Agreement, we specifically detail the documentation that a California resident will receive.  This Section provides, in part:

If a California resident purchases a vehicle which is located in **********, the purchaser will not receive the title as listed on the lot listing page.Instead, the buyer will receive an Acquisition Bill of Sale. An Acquisition Bill of Sale may be revived into a salvage title when you register the vehicle with the State of **********. The vehicle will have to pass various inspections before it can be registered. Please note that we do not assist with repairs, registrations, or inspections. Whether a vehicle sold with an Acquisition Bill of Sale is registerable in the various states is a determination made by the states and as such, we do not guarantee that a vehicle sold with an Acquisition Bill of Sale will be registerable.

Ms. ***** also agreed to the terms of the Agreement, when she signed, via DocuSign, the Purchase Agreement Documents.  The Purchase Agreement Documents state that all transactions are based on the Agreement between the parties. The Purchase Agreement Documents states, in part:

BY SIGNING BELOW, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT (1) YOUR PURCHASE OF THIS VEHICLE IS SUBJECT TO THE AUTOBIDMASTER MEMBER TERMS AND CONDITIONS (***************************************************************) (the "Agreement")

Ms. ***** signed the Purchase Agreement Documents via DocuSign and as such, is bound by it.

We are sorry that Ms. ***** is unhappy with the vehicle she purchased via one of our Affiliated Dealers/Dismantlers but as the issues she complains of fall within her responsibilities under the Agreement, no credit or refund is due.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to discuss this matter further.

On October 8, 2024 I won a bid for a vehicle. When I went to change the title to Florida and register the car, Florida tax collector said the dates on the paperwork provided from AutoBidMaster has conflicting dates of sale and that some of the paperwork shows October 8, while other paperwork shows Oct 9. For instance, the odometer statement shows a sale date of Oct 9. The bill of sale shows Oct 8. ******* is stating that the dates cannot go backwards. When I contacted AutoBidMaster, they requested a rejection letter from the state of *******. I sent that immediately. Today (9/23/24) they sent an email stating that the date of sale is 8/8/24 and sent an attachment of the bill of sale. Then they said, "Please have the *** double check, you should not have any issues with registration." This is clear refusal to address the issue and/or resolve it. I understand that the bill of sale says 8/8/24 however the odometer statement says the sale date is 8/9/24. The sale dates conflict with each other. They have already "double checked" and although I "should not" have any issues, there are issues. I would like AutoBidMaster to correct their paperwork, or refund ALL of my money spent on this car, which includes the price of the car, ALL fees and shipping costs.

Subject: Complaint Against Auto Bid Master and Sports and Imports of *** I am writing to formally file a complaint against Auto Bid Master and Sports and Imports of *** regarding my recent experience with the purchase of a vehicle. On 09-03-2024 I purchased a 2016 ***** Civic (VIN: *****************) from Auto Bid Master. At the time of purchase, the listing clearly stated that the vehicle had a clean title. However, when I went to the *** to transfer the title into my name, I was informed that the vehicle actually has a salvage title history. This discrepancy is not only misleading but constitutes a breach of trust, as I paid for what was represented as a clean title. I promptly contacted Auto Bid Master, requesting compensation for this error and clarification regarding the title's status.Furthermore, I am facing difficulties in registering the vehicle in my name due to issues with title assignment. The tax office informed me that the title is not properly assigned to me; it is currently assigned to **** ******. Sports and Imports of *** must provide a statement of fact indicating that they did not sell the vehicle to **** ******. This statement should clearly specify to whom the vehicle was sold and the date of sale.Additionally, the first ****** reassignment needs to be corrected to reflect that the seller is Auto Bid Master LLC and that I am the buyer. This reassignment must be amended to accurately represent the transaction. I have reached out to Auto Bid Master for the necessary documentation, including a statement explaining these title alterations, but they have not provided any assistance.I kindly request your help in addressing this matter. I am seeking compensation for the difference between the price I paid for a clean title vehicle and the current salvage title status, as well as the required documents to complete the title process in my name.Thank you for your attention to this matter. Complaint: 22318972

    To Whom It May Concern,

I appreciate your attention to my complaint regarding the misrepresentation of the 2016 ***** Civic (VIN: *****************) I purchased from AutoBidMaster.

While AutoBidMaster recently sent me scanned copies of documents and the title, I forwarded these to the tax office, which confirmed that the necessary corrections have not been made. The corrections requested include:

    1. Proper correction on the title itself by drawing a line through Jada ******* name and replacing it with my correct information as the buyer.

    2. Updated signatures from the correct parties, with printed names and business names clearly stated to verify the documents authenticity.

AutoBidMaster has yet to make these required corrections, resulting in an inability to transfer the title into my name. Despite my efforts, including reaching out to the tax office and AutoBidMaster, I am still unable to complete this process. This has caused me significant stress, wasted my time, and has led to ongoing issues with insuring and selling the vehicle.

In addition, I paid $8,949 for the vehicle, which was advertised as having a clean title. However, I later discovered that the vehicle has a salvage title, which drastically reduces its value. The misrepresentation of the title status amounts to deceptive practices, as I was scammed into paying for a clean title vehicle.

Given the ongoing complications and lack of resolution, I am formally requesting that AutoBidMaster take back the vehicle and provide me with a refund. The original listing price was $6,500, but I was charged $8,949 for a vehicle that is not as described.

I urge AutoBidMaster to take responsibility for this situation and to rectify this by either completing the title corrections immediately or providing a refund for the misrepresented vehicle.

I trust that the BBB will continue to assist in resolving this matter fairly and promptly.

    Best regards,

    Complaint: 22318972

    Dear ****** M, Resolutions

    Consultant, Better Business Bureau,

    Cc: ******* *******,

Customer Service and Sales Manager, ******************** LLC

I appreciate the continued attention to my complaint regarding the misleading sale of a 2016 ***** Civic (VIN: *****************) by AutoBidMaster LLC. However, I must reiterate that the core issues at hand remain unresolved, and AutoBidMasters response fails to address several critical points of concern. First and foremost, the vehicle was explicitly listed and advertised with a clean title at the time of purchase. Contrary to AutoBidMasters claims, I relied on the title status as stated in the listing and paid $8,949a price considerably higher than the listed amount of $6,500. It was only after the transaction that I discovered the vehicle has a salvage title, which significantly diminishes its value and was not disclosed prior to payment. The claim that I agreed to terms in the ************************transaction does not absolve AutoBidMaster of responsibility for misrepresentation. In fact, the purchase agreement was presented to me only after the vehicle was paid for, and I was compelled to sign under duress to complete the sale, which raises concerns about the transparency and fairness of this transaction. This raises questions of unfair and deceptive trade practices. Additionally, more than 40 days have passed since I first brought up the title correction issue, and I am still waiting for the appropriate documentation to resolve the title assignment errors. AutoBidMasters failure to provide the necessary documentation has left me unable to register the vehicle in my name, resulting in ongoing financial burdens and emotional distress. The delay is not only causing significant inconvenience but also amounts to mental anguish and has interfered with my ability to insure or sell the vehicle.

At this point, I expect AutoBidMaster to do the following without delay:

    1. Title Misrepresentation: The vehicle was listed as having a clean title at the time of purchase, which is clearly a misrepresentation. Despite AutoBidMasters assertion to the contrary, the listing was advertised as clean, and I was led to believe I was purchasing a vehicle with a clean title. Upon discovering that the vehicle holds a salvage title, its market value has been significantly diminished, causing a loss on my part. I paid $8,949 for a vehicle that was listed at $6,500 and expected to receive a clean title. This discrepancy reflects a significant overpayment for a misrepresented vehicle, and I hold AutoBidMaster accountable for this deceptive practice.

    2. Failure to Provide Correct Documents: It has been almost 40 days, and I am still unable to transfer the vehicles title into my name due to improper documentation. AutoBidMaster has repeatedly failed to provide the required original documents necessary for the tax office to proceed with the title transfer. Despite my numerous requests, they continue to send incomplete or incorrect documentation, including an affidavit with my name spelled incorrectly as ******** ****** instead of my correct name, ******** **** ******. This has caused further delays and complications.

    3. Previous Sale to **** ******: I have also discovered that AutoBidMaster initially sold this vehicle to a person named **** ******, and although that sale did not go through, her name still appears on the title documents. AutoBidMasters failure to correct this mistake and properly assign the vehicle to me has led to further complications with the registration process. The tax office has made it clear that without proper documentation reflecting the correct buyer (myself), it is impossible to register the vehicle in my name.

    4. Suspicion of Fraud: Given the numerous errors, including the mention of **** ****** and the incorrect affidavit, I am concerned that there may be fraudulent intent or gross negligence involved in this transaction. I have made multiple requests for original documents, yet AutoBidMaster continues to provide photocopies, further delaying the process and raising concerns about the legitimacy of the transaction.

I reserve the right to pursue all available legal remedies, including a claim for fraudulent misrepresentation and compensation for the emotional distress caused by this situation.

I trust that BBB will assist in ensuring a prompt and fair resolution of this matter.

    Sincerely,

    ******** **** Naseer

    Complaint: 22318972

Dear ****** *. Resolutions Consultant, Better Business Bureau,

    Cc: ******* *******, **************** and Sales Manager, ******************** LLC

I am writing to follow up on my ongoing complaint regarding the misleading sale of a 2016 ***** Civic (VIN: *****************) by AutoBidMaster LLC. Despite the previous communications, several critical issues remain unresolved, and I feel compelled to reiterate my concerns.

Firstly, I must emphasize that at the time of purchase, the vehicle was explicitly listed with a clean title. This was a significant factor in my decision to pay $8,949 for the vehicle, which is considerably more than the original listing price of $6,500. It was only after the transaction was completed that I discovered the vehicle actually has a salvage title, which severely impacts its value. The assertion that I agreed to the terms in the ************************transaction does not absolve AutoBidMaster of responsibility for the initial misrepresentation. I was only presented with this agreement after completing the payment, raising concerns about transparency and fairness in this transaction.

Moreover, it has now been over 40 days since I reported the title correction issues to AutoBidMaster. I am still awaiting the appropriate documentation needed to transfer the title into my name. This delay has resulted in significant inconvenience, ongoing financial burdens, and emotional distress, preventing me from registering, insuring, or selling the vehicle.

To resolve this matter promptly, I am requesting the following actions from AutoBidMaster:

    1. Address Title Misrepresentation: Acknowledge that the vehicle was misrepresented as having a clean title at the time of purchase, and take responsibility for this deceptive practice. I expect compensation reflecting the difference between the price paid and the vehicles true value due to its salvage title status.

    2. Provide Correct Documentation: Expedite the provision of the necessary original documents to facilitate the title transfer.

    3. Refund Consideration: Given the significant discrepancies and the misrepresentation involved, I request that AutoBidMaster considers taking back the vehicle and providing a refund based on the original listing price of $6,500, as I was charged $8,949 for a vehicle that does not meet the description provided at the time of sale.

I appreciate your continued assistance in resolving this matter fairly and promptly. Thank you for your attention to this serious issue, and I look forward to your response.

    Best regards,

To whom this may concern I decided to try autobidmaster as a means to potentially gain owner ship of a car. I read through the rules and created an account. There was a deposit required to be allowed to bid on vehicles, so on September 6 I made a six hundred dollar deposit using money gram. I was allowed to join the auction on the vehicle I was interested in. In the rules it states all deposits are 100 percent refundable if auction is not won. I didnt win and request my deposit back to my account. The money was never returned.
