The My Chart system is great for messaging, looking at test results and such. It fails in that you cannot make an appointment because its not linked to your provider information.It also fails sometimes for details about visits - like the time of the appointment. My strong complaint has to do with navigation. WHY do they feel the need to rearrange things all the time? I bookmarked the login page and that worked great - went right to where I could see my stuff. But about a week ago this page changed. Now the login button is off to the right side - about a third of a page while the other two thirds are "shortcuts - which GUESS WHAT - you have to sign in to get them anyway. So really no help, not stream lined or time saving. Secondly, the login button is half hidden behind the GRACE ****** that is open on all the pages and has to be closed so you can see information. Are we all morons and can't figure out how to GASP click the button to option ***** options? And once I close it - it should STAY that why. I am so very tired of so many platforms making unessary format changes - just the format. Just because you CAN do a thing doesn't mean you SHOULD do a thing. Its ridiculous and all it does is irritate me. And how long did it find me to find a place to even comment on this? A long time as there is no link on the page of MyChart.Providence Health & Services

Been served well by them for years somethings broken at Providence once a great healthcare clinic , staff and drs are rude and no one answers messages or calls Charts and meds are t updated ! its disappointing but i plan on finding a better provider vs a dictator thats clearly only looking at part or one of my myriad diagnoses vs taking a more wholistic approach PTSD and anxiety full on after one visit!Providence Health & Services

1 starProvidence is the worst place to go to!! I went there to have my son, and somehow the nurse said I told her I drank alcohol when I never did. They tested and nothing came back to that, they sent an OCS worker in and when I told her I never drank and I had my midwife come in and explain that she never found alcohol signs or any alcohol in mine or babys system nor did the hospital. They said it was a mistake and would have this fixed. 7 years later and it was never fixed. This note is now in my sons chart for his life even though I never drank ONCE while pregnant. They clearly wanted to LIE and ruined my first day with my son. Now I look like a drunk mother when Im ALLERGIC TO ALCOHOL. This place is cruel and should be shut down!! Double-billed for a simple (already expensive) office visit, next to the line of "insurance adjustment".Funny how billing mistakes always seem to cost the customer more, and the justification is always opaque. Providence Health Services is a complete scam. Their ************ Physicians are fully booked for 3+ months out and are only available for well visits planned months in advance. They force you to use their urgent care in the same facility where you are supported by completely incompetent providers. I visited their urgent care facility on April 3, 2023. I was diagnosed and a prescription was sent to my pharmacy. After taking the prescription medications as prescribed for the required 10 day period, my condition worsened. I re-visited the same urgent care and the provider provided the same diagnosis and same prescription. The next day, I fell very ill and had to visit the emergency room. As it turns out, I was mis-diagnosed the first two times at urgent care. The *** leading on the wrong diagnosis, cut me open to later discover that it was unnecessary, leaving a permanent scar. To add insult to injury, Providence billed me for all three visits while performing what is obviously malpractice. After several lengthy calls, I requested that they withdraw the ******** for these visits. After waiting several months, rather than doing the right thing, they are threatening collections on the account and have refused to clear up the billing. Unfortunately, this is being escalated to a legal matter that could have been prevented.Providence Health & Services

Providence doesn't follow thru!! Left messages and phone for provider... 6 weeks later, no response. My spouse also attempted phone and email contact regarding another medical matter without success. Went to a Providence Olympia West manager who said she would address the problem by the next day... No response. They have become a strictly for profit organization, sending out mass emails promoting their services and reminding us of every deadline, vaccinations, yearly check-ups, etc., but are just not responsive to the client for any faollowup information! I would grade them less than a one, but its not an option.Providence Health & Services

I have a lot on my plate and yes I did miss my appointment for my physical therapy I called 2 hours and 24 minutes late on the same day talked to a man and he told me then that I had to cancel my appointments my next come upcoming appointments cuz I missed my appointment I didn't miss it I was late so ***** that works there decided to tell me that I did not call and I did not do it on the same day and therefore it was a missed appointment and not I just was late because just late means you can keep your other appointments but miss means you have to go on same day appointment whatever schedule and I kept telling her that I did call and I kept telling her when I called and she keep talking over me and telling me ***** you missed your appointment when I really didn't I called late and an MRI scheduled at 8:45 the next morning and I'm not a morning person I'm not trying to make excuses I'm just saying that I did call the same day and it was 2 hours and ************************************************************************** like scum on the bottom of their shoes and I'm waiting to file a complaint but she's yet to tell her supervisor to call me it's really not a great situation there if I were you I wouldn't do physical therapy thereProvidence Health & Services

A representative did reach out to our patient by phone to discuss. We do request that a patient contact us prior to their scheduled appointment to let us know if they can not make it. A call prior allows another patient to fill that appointment time. The call disconnected and unfortunately our patient's voicemail was full when we attempted a call back.
Our representative did follow up with a MyChart email offering assistance with scheduling of another appointment.

Just yesterday they reached out, still talking to me like dirt on their shoe . I accidentally lost track of time as I was stressing over the *** I finally was able to get after just under 2 years that was scheduled the next day at 8:45: am (and I'm not a morning person) coupled with my anxiety depression and panic attacks that at time's leave me unable to even get our my door. However I want to walk again with a lot lot less pain ,or I want my foot cut off. So it's a big deal to me. And believe me the second I realized I had missed my appointment which btw was exactly 2 hours and 24 minutes late, I called. They want you to believe the phones switch over at 5 when they leave but that day they were gone by 4:54pm . I talked to a man who said he would give them the message that I called., Only he too did not follow through when I said the ***** after being told if I called that same day I wouldn't have had to cancel and go on a walk in if they had time schedule. Which I did. And was told 3 times by ***** because the left early and man that answered failed to pass the message along. 3 times ***** talked over me saying no you did not call nor did you leave a message. Like I'm a liar. So not even a I'm sorry for anything. Just did I want to make a follow up appointment. After all that, I've never ever been late before and I realized I missed it by 2 hrs 24 minutes I get that (news flash I'm human) but the treatment but all 3 people I've dealt with with this supervisor included was absolutely unexcusable. And let's be honest only because I told them I turned them in and left multiple reviews did the even offer another appointment. Which in and of its self is pathetic. No they are unprofessional at best I can't imagine the treatment in would receive iff I returned. Thank you for your time and I will be seeiking therapy else where.Review fromMarigo K

On March 10, 2023, I went in to have a scheduled surgery at which time I was told there was an issue with my insurance. After making a ton of arrangement for my kids and dog while Id be out of commission, they tried to tell me they were going to cancel my surgery. I asked what I had to do to still have it and they gave me a cost of approx $34,000. I paid because I truly needed this surgery and was told ** be reimbursed once the insurance approves and pays for the surgery. I have been fighting tooth and nail and I still do not have my money returned when they got the approval for my surgery within 72 hours of the surgery. I keep being given dates to expect a deposit (weekly) and still nothing. Almost 4 months out and they refuse to refund my money Im rightfully owed. I will never use this hospital again after seeing how they have held my money hostage which is also putting me in a financial bind all this time. Shame on this organization. Ive given this plenty of time to be rectified but Im at my endProvidence Health & Services

Providence provides a ******** Advantage health insurance package. As a 66 year old disabled retiree, I am enrolled with them.For the last 15 years I have been on one prescription medication. The dosage has been unchanged.Providence Advantage has denied my prescription and forced me to pay $90 additional to get my critical Rx, for 4 months in a row.Each time it is due to them needing more information from my doctor, who claims he keeps providing that info.Really, I find it hard to blame my doctor. They are choosing to treat me like an abuser and are causing me financial distress as I am on a fixed budget.Isnt Providence supposed to be the more caring and compassionate health care? What do they hope to achieve by punishing their paying members?What value is Providence providing to my health care for the money paid to them each month? ZEROProvidence Health & Services

"The medication is subject to a prior authorization (PA). The previous PA was approved 04/2022 04/2023. It is a medication that we review on an annual basis to determine if it is still working for the member along with other requirements.
There were 2 requests that were withdrawn by the provider April 2023 & May 2023. After we reached out to the provider June 2023 we reached out 3 more times to the provider for additional information and received no response.The complainant also received a letter with detailed information on the denial.
